7/3/18 Kimmy and the boys came up for the day. We had fun in the pool land at the beach. It was super warm so felt good to be in the water

Kimmy and the boys came to the campground to spend the day with us.  Jack was happy they were coming.  Isaac and I went to the store so they were there when we got back.  .   We went swimming and then came back and had lunch.  Vikki worked on making her bracelets.  The kids played with legos in the screen tent.  Kimmy, Isaac and I went for a quick dip in the pool and then Kimmy and I took a walk around the campground.  We hung around at the site for awhile and then went for a swim at the lake.  The water was warm.  Around 6:30 Kimmy and the boys headed home.  What a fun day with them.

7/1/18..Went to church in Standish, Played golf, swam, went for a ride

Saw this the barn in Au Goes.  Called Vikki to tell her I saw an eagle. ha haIt looks like they found a real eagle's nest for this pole. There was a nice eagle at the top.

I love this ice cube maker that came with the camper.  You pour water through the top two slots. Then after it freezes you just have to turn the two knobs and the ice falls easily in the bottom tray.
What a great idea.  

Camper from the other side. Even though we have had to get a lot of things fixed, I love this camper.  It is set up so nice and is amazing to camp in it.  Glad they are fixing things well.

Decided to go with Vikki and the twins to church in Standish.  Ate breakfast and got ready.  Peyton and Isaac were joyful helpers, taking both garbages out and folding blankets.  Church was nice and he had a great message on integrity.  It was a tiny church and they were so nice and caring.  Isaac went up front and worshipped.  He loves to worship.  After worship, Isaac and Peyton went to Sunday School.  They got to pick a prize out of the surprise box because it was their first time there.  We couldn't believe it when Isaac came out with new flip flops.  He had broke his and was wearing Peyton's pink ones.  The new ones were just his time.  What a blessing!  Peyton picked out a VHS movie.  When we got back Vikki packed up and left for home. She is going to Karen’s dad’s funeral tomorrow. Bill and I went swimming, played two games of putt putt, and went swimming again.  Came back to the camper and relaxed and ate sweet cherries and green grapes.  Ate dinner and went for a ride

6/30//18...Dennis, Amy, Emma, Eli and Amber came up to the campground to spend the day

Bill went on our Faith Rider's Ride to Clare Cops and Donuts.  I stayed up north and got ready for Dennis, Amy and family to come.  They had planned on coming at noon, but didn't get there till one.  We went swimming right after they got there, because it was super hot out.  Stated at the pool for a long time.  Amy, Dennis, Emma and Eli went on the paddleboat, but the kids didn't like it so came back right away.  We ate lunch.  Vikki and Amber went to pick up pizzas from Fergie's. (our favorite pizza ever).  They loved the pizza too.  After that, we went for a walk and then came back and played 3-13.  What a fun time with these great friends.  Bill married them two years ago.  

6/29/18...Brought Max home, took Melissa to therapy, picked out our countertop for bathroom vanity

I was so sad to see a post from my friend Holly that her parent's home burned down.  Her mom was putting gas in the power washer and it exploded.  Happy everyone was ok.

Brought Max home when I came back to take Melissa to therapy.  Jack was excited to show me everything he had made in woodworking class at VBS.  He did such a great job.  Bill and I went and picked out our granite top for our vanity in the bathroom. We went back up to the campground after we did that.

Vikki thought it would be a great day to go to Tawas and Oscoda and I agreed.  It was just the right temperature and beautiful out.  We walked through some shops in Tawas.  Lucy did great in the stores and everyone loved her.  The kids were very patient.  We got an ice cream cone and then walked the dock in Tawas.  While out on the big dock, we called G's and ordered pizza.  We picked it up and went to Oscoda to the dog beach to eat our pizza and hang out.  We had a wonderful time and even got to hang out in our hammocks.
