9/7/18...Yay, Melissa came home. Went to take cookies for her to give her therapist. Went to car show in Frankenmuth, Went to Debbie and Dale's Afterward

Bruce, Melissa and Abby celebrating with Starbucks because she is home from the Rehab Hospital.

Four happy kiddos because their mommy is home...happy dog too

The boys are running to see their mom and the teachers and students are welcoming Melissa because she just got out of the hospital and went with Bruce to pick the kids up.  So touching how these friends show so much love to Bruce,  Melissa and their family!

The boys were so excited to see their mom they jumped through the van window.  Glad Bruce had his camera ready

Made chocolate chip cookies for Melissa's favorite therapist who had her the whole time

This is one good looking car show dude!
If you zoom in you can see all the people down the street.  There were tons going both directions.
Bill and I had fun going to the car show in Frankenmuth.  We took pictures, walked around, talked to some friends we saw from church and Stacie's in laws.  What a fun time.  Wes and Gayla were at the other end so we didn't get to see them.  We went to Debbie and Jeff Davis's afterwards since we parked across from their house.  Their house is right where Bill used to live when he was a kid.  They tore his house down though and it's a street now.  We had a great visit, enjoyed seeing their kitchen remodel, and then they prayed over us before we left.  It was a beautiful evening and was just the right temperature.

9/6/18 Happy 6th Birthday Peyton and Isaac!

Wes and Gayla made pancakes and bacon for us today for breakfast. We all ate at the picnic table under the canopy.  We went to the worship service and Run for the Son Service.  After that we took a ride to Harbor Springs.  We were going to eat at Wes and Gayla’s favorite restaurant there but saw it had burned down and was being cleared away.  We ate across the street instead.  It took a long time but the food was great.  We headed back to the campground and avoided some storms ahead. Wes took our group a great way and we kept turning towards clear skies.  When we were about two miles from BayShore, we stopped and put our rain suits on.  As soon as we got them on and got on the motorcycles it started raking. It wasn’t near as bad as the storms we avoided though.  We went to an ice cream social afterward with free ice cream.  Bill and Sabrina came up.  He was pretty scraped up and had lots of bandages but is doing great.  We are praising and thanking God!  We all went to Trinity Riders potluck, but just visited with friends because we were still too full from lunch to eat. Went to the evening service and then played cards.  I finally won tonight.

8/30/18 Left for BayShore, Bill rode the motorcycle and I pulled the camper. Set up next to Wes and Gayla

Bill is getting too big for his britches...He bent over and this is the result.  I think Kimmy already sewed the rip on the pocket of the other side.
Got up early and finished packing the camper.  Bill helped carry everything out which was nice.  Left a note for the guys asking them to fix a tile section that bulged in the bathroom shower.  Made coffee for them before I left.  Bill didn’t want to bother them, but Vikki and I thought it should be done right or it would always bug me and I agreed. We left for BayShore.  Bill drove the motorcycle and pulled the little camper behind him, and I pulled our camper. We prayed first of course. I was a little nervous because it is longer than our old camper.  We stopped half way at Tim Hortons.  It’s our tradition.  I was happy the city and expressway driving were over, and I had a nice country drive with great roads the rest of the way.  It started raining even though the app on my phone said it wasn’t going to.  Poor Bill got wet and stopped to put his rain suit on.  We made it safely and everything in the camper was still in place, so my driving was pretty good.  Bill even complemented me on driving it good.
Wes and Gayla are camped next to us facing us which is nice and we have their canopy between us for shade. Our picnic table is under it. What great friends.  Bill helped park people.  They are letting us camp for free and giving us all of our meals for free because we help out here.  Gayla, Elaine, Barb and I set up the War Room for people to pray in.  I went in and prayed for Melissa and some other people and thanked God for what He has done already.  Wes rented a fire pit and we sat by it for a while.  Renee, Dan, Barb, Wes, Gayla, Bill and I played cards. Gayla was the winner.
