Saturday, 7/5/25, Everyone came up for the day to celebrate the 4th of July as a family

Everyone came up to spend the day and watch the fireworks, except Jacob who was going on a trip to Traverse City with friends! We were happy to have him up here the past couple of days though.  The kids all hung out together and had fun swimming, biking and walking.  Hailey and Jack came up early, then Melissa, Bruce and Evan came around 5:30 after Evans party.  We all ate hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips and had watermelon and drumsticks for dessert.  We watched the Golf Cart Parade. The kids liked getting lots of good candy.  Peyton gave hers away to a couple of young boys and their mom was really happy and told her it was really nice of her.  

We all enjoyed Rehvyn and how fun and happy he is.  We walked down to watch the fireworks.  They were really good. Rehvyn was super tired because he didn’t have a nap all day.  Kenzie let me rock him and it was so nice having him so cuddly.  He fell asleep and woke up for a minute. He put his blanket over his eyes and then when Kenzie tried to take the blanket away he covered his eyes with his hands.  He wasn’t interested.  Hailey, Evan and Eli spent the night with us. Eli, Evan and Isaac slept in the tent.  We were all too tired to play a game. It was 11:30

 

Friday, 7/4/25, Happy 4th of July, Kimmy and Jared came up, they brought the shoe rack, the boys did lots of swimming, girls went on walks, boys rode their bikes lots, hung out outside and inside the camper, played 3-13

Adam sleeping in the morning.  He’s been sleeping in a chair.  He was sleeping when Vikki, Peyton and I got up and kept sleeping.  Usually he’s the first one up

Adam during his morning swim and hot tub time.  His knee is so much better from swimming and the hot tub.  He can extend it fully now.  I am so happy for him.

I was reading my Bible and Hailey came and sat next to me and read her Bible and had her notebook to take notes in

We all watched as Jacob took his tent down and packed up to leave.  We did offer to help,  but he didn’t want us to.  He did a great job!

Adam was the last one up.  When he got up, we all ate breakfast, then he went swimming and Peyton, Isaac and Eli went for bike rides, walks, visits with friends and to the Club house.  Jacob went for lots of walks and some swims too.  Hailey got here at 9:50 and she and Peyton hung out.  Adam went for lots of swims, walks and bike rides.  Kimmy, Jared and Eli came up for the day.  We made roast, carrots and potatoes in the crockpot at midnight so it would be done and tender for our lunch today.  Kimmy, Jared, Bill and I played dice out on the picnic table.  Jared started off with some really big shakes.  Then I shook a 2000 and then got really good shakes.  Jared and I were tied and each only needed 50 points.  We shook lots of times and I finally got the 50 needed points. Jared shook his 50 right after me so we tied.  

In the evening after Adam was done swimming, we played dice.  He was super tired.  I shook really high scores each time and won really fast.  Adam went to bed right after that.  Then the rest of us went to bed.
