12/23/15 Getting ready for our Christmas Celebration Tomorrow

I got my fireplace going today. This was on netflix and it crackles just like a real fire and nice instrumental Christmas music plays.

Got up and went to get my rolls started and I didn't have any flour. I called Bill at the Sports Zone and he picked me up some from Pat's and brought it home. I got the rolls started, made pies, and made my jello salad. Brought all the gifts down and put them under the tree too.

12/22/15 Went to breakfast and then finished shopping for Christmas

We had a good turnout at our breakfast today. Nice having Wes there after his knee surgery

12/21/15 Bill got his new truck today!

Bill's new truck

Bill got his new truck today. He is very happy about the great deal and all the extras he got and the great price for his truck he traded in. It sure is a nice truck and a nice color. He took me for my first ride in it and I turned on my heated seat and shortly after I was getting cold. I turned the cold seat on instead of the hot seat. Didn't know they even made those. Ha Ha

Kimmy came this morning to hang out. We all knitted and visited. We had chicken soup for lunch. Kenzie and Cole came over and ate their lunch they brought and Kenzie had some of my soup. Then they helped wrap gifts while I made out the tags for them. They are coming back tomorrow to finish
Melissa, Bruce and the kids came and dropped Evan and Max off for Kimmy to take to her house. This will give Melissa a chance to catch up with things she needs to do before Christmas. The boys are super excited to go to Kimmy's. After everyone left, Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went to Birch Run to do a little shopping. We had fun and found some great deals. Went to McDonalds and then headed back to Saginaw. When I got home, Bill took me for a ride in the truck to Omi's to pick up the Christmas cookies she made for me. So sweet of her. We had a nice visit and then headed home.

12/20/15 Jack came home from the hospital today. YAY

The kids from kids care group sang beautifully this morning. Emily did a wonderful job teaching them and they sure sang out, especially my little ones.

Woke Hailey up with the Ants go marching song first, them woke Max up. They ate and got ready for church. I had got up an hour earlier and got ready and put chicken in the crock pot for after church. The kids ate and then we read the Bible. After that, they watched an Andy Griffith show. Then we left for church as we had to be there early for Max to sing. The songs were beautiful. We got a message that Jack was going to get out of the hospital so we were very happy. Bruce took the kids home to see Jack. We went home and ate chicken and mashed potatoes and then I made homemade chicken noodle soup with the broth and left over chicken. I took some to Bruce and Melissa when I dropped off the kid's suitcases. I came home and wrapped some presents. Kenzie was supposed to help, but she's coming tomorrow instead.

She did a wonderful job decorating it. So thankful for her.

Got up early and got ready, then went to the store to get veggies and dip for the party. Got everything ready and went to the hospital to stay with Jack so Melissa and Bruce could go home for a while and get things ready and kids dressed for the party. Had fun with Jack. We played mario cart on the wii. He beat me of course. After a while, Bill got there and I let him play it for a while.

Melissa came and I took a picture of her and Hailey, then we left for the party. We had a nice time at the party and the food was really good, especially the butter horns. Missed Melissa, Joey and Fred and Ashton. Played bingo which everyone loved. The kids really had fun. It was Lourdes and her niece's first time playing. Debbie and Tom gave us a beautiful camper ornament. We left and took Hailey and Max home with us to spend the night. We drove through Frankenmuth so they could see the beautiful Christmas Lights. The kids got ready for bed and then wanted to watch a movie. Hailey and I watched Mandie and the first Christmas and Max and Papa watched Beethoven. After that I was going to tuck them in, but Bill got out the Sorry game and we played that instead. They both went to be really good after that. Max slept up stairs. I warmed the bed up with the electric blanket so he could crawl in a warm bed. Turned it off when he got in. Hailey slept on the couch downstairs.
