We got up early so we could get ready and get to Faith Riders meeting for breakfast at 8 and meeting, then leave with the group at 9 and ride to Tawas for the Ride and Seek.  They are a new group and this is their first ride like this.  We love the people in the Tawas chapter too and wanted to support them and be there.  They were all really happy and surprised to see us.  Our nephew, Freddie helped the chapter set up the tents in the morning.  He attends their church.

It was a nice ride there.  We put the top down on the Jeep so it was kind of like we were on the trike.  We all hung out in the church parking lot and visited with everyone til it was time to ride.  Then we all took off in groups, but ended up in places with a couple of groups at. time.  We all had to take our picture with the things designated at the stops.  It was fun!  I asked Bill if he wanted me to put the stops in my maps, but he said no.  Then, on the third one, he said he thought we missed a turn and I should put it in.  We went a little out of our way, but it was a beautiful ride on winding nice roads.  We caught up with two groups at the Bear Store where they have a bear and other live animals.  The bear wasn’t out.  We all had ice cream there and sat at picnic tables and ate.  We went to Lumberman’s monument after that.  We took a picture by Karen’s bike for our Michigan CMA challenge ride while we were there.  We hung out with Cheryl and Arnie while we were there.  Such a fun day!  We headed back to the church and the pastor was cooking the hot dogs and they had chips and cookies also for us to eat.  We left after that and headed home.  Kimmy had called and said Eli and Isaac picked going to our house to swim as what they wanted to do.  She called me and asked if they could so I of course told her yes.  Adam went too.  About an hour later, Vikki called and said she knew Kimmy was at our house, but Peyton and her two friends from BayShore wanted to go swimming too.  I told her of course too.  We got home and walked out to the back deck and I could see Kimmy weeding along the deck.  She looked hot and tired.  I went and thanked her and gave her a big hug.  I also told her to stop.  She was almost done so finished what she needed too.  I started pulling some weeds with her.
Vikki and the girls got there.  Bethany came in the door and said hi to me and said she was starving and asked if I had anything to eat.  I started making pizza’s in my little Ninja oven and also put two in the big oven.  I had pot pie if anyone wanted some too.  We had drumsticks and frozen strawberry ice cream bars for dessert.  The boys had already swam and then changed.  The girls went swimming and stayed in a long time.  I asked Jared to show me how to hook up the power washer, because Bill hadn’t shown me yet.  Jared not only hooked it up, he washed the four white pool lounge chairs perfectly.  He also, after winding the hose up, took it out and hooked it up to the garden sprinkler and turned it on for me.  Vikki, Kimmy, Eli and Isaac, chopped dead branches off my tree with all the bird feeders and moved the feeders to live branches that needed to be moved.  It looks so nice.
Everyone left after that.  Kimmy had to get home to boil eggs for deviled eggs and I had to make my potatoes and cut them, cut celery and cut onions for the potato salad.  I already had the eggs boiled.

After that it was like 11 p.m. and I worked a little on the blog posting pictures.  To be finished later.

Friday, 6/12/26, Bill had an MRI at 6:30. a.m., Kimmy, Eli, Vikki and Isaac came over, The boys rode their bikes to Vikki’s, We girls went to an estate sale, the girls transplanted my Crown of Thorns plant and also my Christmas cactus, Bill put the Mantis together and also put the wheels on, Kimmy and I used it in the garden, Kimmy and Vikki put my cord hider on the fan cord, Kimmy clipped the broken branch off the tree and moved some of my bird feeders, Rody brought the boys here,

Branch broken and hanging down.  It was my bird feeder hanging branch.
The flowers looked so beautiful this morning.
Bill working putting the Mantis we got today together
Kimmy and I tilled the garden with the Mantis.  It works great and we got it done so fast.  I am going to love having this to keep up with the weeds in the garden
The girl moved this into this new pot for me today.  Thanks so much girls!
They also moved my Crown of Thorns into this pot, and put in a trellis pole to wind the plant around, plus a have round one to hold the bottom branches in place.  It is so nice!
I took the tines off the Mantis and washed them good and washed the wheels too.  Left them in the sun to dry.

This is a picture of all of my plants in the family room.  The Crown of Thorns stands up perfectly in the pot now.  Big job!  Thank you girls.  It looks so amazing now.
My new Roomba sure vacuums the floors good.  It did this bathroom and even fluffed the rugs when it vacuumed it

The Roomba vacuuming.  It fluffed this floor too which I’ve never seen with this berber before

This is the only video I got of Isaac and Eli today. At least I have their voices in it.  They came here while Kimmy went to Vikki’s to pick them up.  Wires got crossed.  They picked up the garden stakes and put them in the tub they go in and put them away.  They also moved a chair for me in the basement and picked up some things for me and put them away.  Thanks Isaac and Eli.

Bill got up and went to his MRI at Covenant this morning.  Then he went to his appointment at the VA and then ate breakfast there.  He didn’t want me to go with him.  Vikki and Isaac got here.  Peyton was at Kenzie’s because she spent the night.   Kimmy and Eli came and of course Arnie.  Vikki brought her new pet.  A spider named Itsy Bitsy Sally.  She is getting over her fear of spiders by getting a cute nice spider.  Eli caught a spider and fed it to her and she got it right away.  I am not a spider person.

The boys rode their bikes to Vikki’s on the rail trail, then we girls went to an Estate Sale.  It was a really nice one.  They even came down on prices when we asked.   We got lots of stuff.  Vikki got a nice stretchable hose for $3, a Nest Thermostat new in the box for $2. and other stuff.  I got a Roomba vacuum.  It was marked $80 and they let me have it for $70 thanks to Vikki asking.  It sells for $719.98 on Amazon.  I also got a nice plant pot for $12 and cord cover for 4. Got an almost full box a plastic silverware that was from Costco for $3.  Great finds.  Kimmy didn’t get anything, but once we loaded the van, she looked up the bike carrier they hand and went back and got it.  They gave it to her for $30 instead of 40.  We were all happy campers.  We went to Menards after that to get something to hold my Crown of thorns plant up.  We found just what we needed.  We also looked for a suet feeder that feeds from the bottom.  They were all out of them.  I got some Cactus potting soil too.

The girls worked hard on transplanting my two plants, especially the Crown of thorns because it was so picky with all those thorns.  They did an amazing job.  Bill worked on assembling the Mantis in the other room.  He did a great job too.  Thanks so much Bill.  He said he got it for me for taking care of him, but I’m always happy to care for him and help when he needs me.  Kimmy and I tried it in the garden and it worked great.  We did have to change the tines around.  Kimmy did most of the garden and she could start it up.  I have to learn to pull harder so I can start it.

We had a mix up and the boys had Rody bring them here and Kimmy had just left to go to Vikki’s to pick them up.  She did get their bikes from Vikki’s and put them on her new bike rack, which she loves.  The boys helped me while they were here with a couple of jobs.  They were really sweet while they were here.  Kimmy came back and took them both to her house.  Isaac is spending two nights there.

I read my Bible, Bill read our prayer/devotion and then I went out and put the Mantis tines back on and put it away.  I washed my muck boots too.  Had pot pie for dinner.  Yum!

Worked on my blog and now going to bed.
