What a Cat
Bill went and had an ECHO done at the VA Hospital. He read his Bible before he left. When he got home, he napped for a while in his recliner. I went in by the fireplace in the family room and read my Bible, made a return slip for some jeans Bill got me, and ate my breakfast. Kimmy, Jared and the boys stopped over to pick up something really quick on their way. It was nice seeing them in the van, ev
I went to Burger King to pick up a couple of Jr. Whoppers for my friend, Linda, I was going to visit at the rehab. There were 7 cars ahead of me and only one line. I let Linda know I was going to be a little late. When. I finally got up to the place to order, the girl told me they ran out of patties so I couldn’t get Jr. Whoppers. I checked to see if I could get a regular whopper and she said yes, only the small patties were out. I picked the food and a Diet Coke up and went to visit her. She was sitting in her wheelchair. I sat and visited with her while she ate her lunch. She was happy to have good food. I helped get nurses when she needed them. They are short staffed there which makes it hard for the patients who need help getting to the bathroom. She had a couple of long waits for someone to come help her. I stayed for a couple of hours and then had to leave. She is so lonely, she cried when I had to leave. That made me sad.
When I got home, I saw the light on in the shed, so I walked back to talk to Bill and see what he was doing. He had the fender off the Jeep and was working on putting the new headlights on. Big job! I started praying that God would give him wisdom and it would go well. He worked for a couple more hours, then had to quit and go into town to get some clips for it.
I ate leftovers, but the only thing left that Bill likes was turkey and corn. I asked him if he wanted me to pick something up for him, and he told me he had to go into town so he would pick something up.
I talked to Kimmy, Melissa and Vikki today. I am blessed with wonderful, caring daughters.
