Isaac and Peyton at Culvers, two of the sweetest kiddos ever! |
The candle that Vikki bought me today smells so good. It reminds us of the smell when we went into stores when the kids were young. |
Bill and I went to Meijer on our way home. I got another pair of soft jeans and a sweater and Bill got some nice shirts. They had really good sales so Bill told me to get whatever I wanted. We came home and he needed a bigger size in one shirt and I needed a bigger size in the jeans because there is no elastic and no zipper. I took and exchanged them, then came back home. It was still raining pretty hard, so I sure was thankful to pull into the garage and keep dry. Bill put the balls he ordered up in the garage to mark where we are supposed to park with having 2 vehicles in there now.
I talked to Vikki and she wanted to come bring me something she bought for me today at Bath & Body Works. It was a candle she loved the smell of because it brought memories of walking through Penney’s when she was young. I put it under my candle melter and it made the whole house smell so good. It stirred up some good memories for me too. Thank you Vikki, that was so sweet of you. Peyton wanted to go through the Barbie stuff upstairs, so we went and got it out of the attic. She had lots of fun going through them and it was fun watching her. They have been around for a long time as they were Kenzie’s when she was little. I sure enjoyed their visit and loved my surprise. They had to leave, so I waved from the door as they went. Vikki always honks when she leaves too.
Bill did some calling to see what Area Reps are going to Iowa so he can let Jay know to book the rooms at the hotel. I called Marie and talked to her for a while. She and Roy are doing well and Roy goes to the doctor tomorrow and finds out if he can drive again. He couldn’t drive for two weeks after his pacemaker was changed.
Bill and I watched a movie called, Summer Rain, that had the same stars in it as last night’s movie. It was a good movie too.
