She was so cute!
I didn’t take any pictures today, but Kenzie sent me some cute Kit Kat pictures of when she was a kitten, so decided to add those. It is another very cold day. I met Maddy at Biggby for coffee and a bagel. Her heat went out in her vehicle. This is not a good time for that. I had brought her some chili, chili Frito’s, crackers, sour cream and cookies for their dinner tonight, so I gave it to her to put in her car, so we wouldn’t forget. We had a nice time talking and enjoying our coffee. I got a Mocha Mocha today and it was so good! We visited over two hours and it sure went by fast. She wants me to start reading the Bible with her to keep her accountable which I am happy to do. She’s young with small kids so I am happy she is seeking to know God better.
When I got home, Vikki called and reminded me that she had therapy and asked if I remembered I was going to pick up the kids if she didn’t get out in time. I remembered. I cleaned the kernel burner, while Bill went out to work on the last light replacement in the jeep. It went well with all the parts going back in the kernel burner quickly and easily. Of course I prayed for help first. When I got done and got everything cleaned up, Vikki called to say she got out in time to pick up the kids from school. Her arm muscle was super tight and her therapist said she’s never seen oe that tight. She massaged it and got some loosened, but Vikki will have to go for 60 times. I am so happy to see her getting help for it. I called Melissa to see how she was. She didn’t answer, so I called Kimmy. She was waiting at the dentist for Eli to get done with his appt. She wasn’t feeling good so she waited in her car. Melissa called me back, so I hung up from Kimmy and answered her call. We talked for a while, then her alarm went off to go get Jack, so we said goodbye and I called Kimmy back. I sure will be thankful when she feels better again. Doing lots of praying. Eli came out and his appointment went good with no cavities. They were going to get his shake, so I hung up, I went out to the shed to see how Bill was coming. He was putting white plastic clips on the fender, but with it so cold, they weren’t going on very easy and some broke. I helped hold the fender part steady while he pounded to get them on. Finally, he decided to finish the rest tomorrow. I don’t know how he could work out in that cold for so long. I went in and started warming up our chili. He came in shortly after I took it out of the microwave. We sure enjoyed chili on this cold day.
Read my Bible and then I had to turn the kernel burner off and let it cool because I could see one part wasn’t pushed in enough. When it was cool enough, I took care of that and then started it again. We called Stacie because we wanted to set up a time to get together with them and give them their Christmas presents. We were sad to hear they are all sick with this crud that’s going around too. Then we found out her dad had been in the ER and had been admitted to the hospital. Stacie has so much going on with all this. We are praying for her and her family too.
Peyton called me with some exciting news. Her friend, Regan, accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at youth group tonight. We were all so happy and excited. All the angels in heaven are rejoicing!
