Me, Bill, Peyton and Isaac playing Donkey.  It was down to Peyton and Isaac.  Peyton had the donkey so lost.

I got up at 7:45.  I got ready, then put ingredients in for dough for both bread makers.  Bill got up a half hour after me.  He got ready, then I left to go meet Maddy at Biggby and he went and met Dana, Ken, Bill H. and Gene for breakfast at Bob Evans.

I had a nice time visiting with Maddy and eating our breakfast sandwiches and enjoying our drinks.  Mine was a Mocha Mocha.  We stayed there for about 1 1/2 hours.   After that I went to Meijer to get carpet shampoo and spot treatment spray.

Then I came home and shampooed the carpet once again in the family room.  Only had to do half of it.  It looks like all of the spots came out now.  Bill got home and started reading his Bible.  When I finished the carpet, I went in and started reading my Bible.  Did our devotions and prayer books too.  Kenzie and Rehvyn FaceTimed me.  I was so happy to see them and talk to them.  I missed them while I was gone on our trip.  We put the google eyes on for Rehvyn to see.  He liked them.  Peyton and Isaac put them on later when they were here and were FaceTiming with them.  He laughed again.

Bill and I went down to the basement and he decided he would put a new thermostat in and also move it.  The township inspector came and inspected the furnace.  It was up to code and passed.  After the guy left, Bill went into town and got a thermostat.  Vikki and the kids came over after school.  The kids were so cute and fun.  Bill went down in the basement to replace the old thermostat, moving it to the next room over.  It’s much easier to see a use now.  Vikki and I made cabbage buns for Chris Turner tomorrow and for us for tonight.  Isaac played the new Elevation Worship Album on my speaker while we made them.  The kids wanted spaghetti I had left over instead of cabbage buns.  Bill, Vikki and I ate cabbage buns.  Chris texted me and said it was supposed to be bad weather in the morning and wondered if I wanted to come later or a different day so I wouldn’t have to drive in it.  I decided to come at lunch time because the roads should be plowed by then.  Instead of her making breakfast for me in the morning, I am taking the cabbage buns I made and we are having lunch together.  I am also taking an apple and a Milky Way Candy Bar for each of us.  We always used to do that and it was like having a caramel apple.  Both are great memories for us.

The kids, Vikki, Bill and I played Donkey.  They were all learning so we were easy on them and helped them.  Well maybe not Bill sometimes lol.  I went out first and won and Peyton ended up getting the Donkey.  We had lots of fun.

After they left, Bill showed me the new thermostat in the basement.  It looks really nice and he did a great job.  I like it in the other room much better.  I am happy to have it to control the heat.  We definitely don’t want to heat the basement except on rare occasions.  It makes it to hot for anyone wanting to play ping pong when it’s too hot down there.  It usually is just right.  I’m so glad he fixed it so quickly.  We don’t want to be working for Consumers as my mom would always say when we left lights on at home as kids.

We watched the State of the Union Address.  Loved seeing all of the heroes honored and those whose loved ones were murdered by illegals reached out to and comforted.  So sad for them to have to go through such awful losses.
