Forgot to take any pictures today.
I got up before Bill. I made my coffee and ate breakfast. I had yogurt with granola and cut up strawberries in it. Then I emptied the dishes out of the dishwasher and put them away. I went downstairs and fed the fish. I had to put Kit Kat’s food out in a regular pet dish as I saw an opossum eating out of her dispenser dish last night. It completely emptied it and took the top part of it right off. Got to catch it now!!! It was too snowy out so I will try to catch it when the little bit of snow we have melts. They sure all come to the top as soon as I put the food in. Bill got up and I went in and helped him make the bed. He drank his protein drink and then we both read our Bibles. I relaxed and closed my eyes for 5 minutes, then went and got ready, packed up the cabbage/burger buns, apples and Milky Way candy bars and headed to Chris’s house.
I hadn’t been there in several years. Her brother and son have done lots other work on her house. New wood floors in the house and the porch redone and looking beautiful. Gary pointed out to me that the sag in the living room floor was fixed too and that room looked beautiful. He had me talk louder so he could hear me. He is battling pancreatic cancer and it has spread. He looked pretty good though and visited with me for a few minutes. We reminised about getting baptized together as couples in the 80’s. We all spent a lot of time together and have lots of great memories.
Gary asked Chris and I if we didn’t want to go sit down. That was him letting us know he wanted to finish watching his movie. Chris and I went to the kitchen and ate lunch. I had bought cabbage buns and she had made us delicious salads. I gave her a big pan of cabbage buns to have and be able to freeze some. After we finished, we went out on the porch and sat and drank our coffee and ate our apple and candy bar. We decided to split one because we were too full to eat a whole one. Her porch was so nice to sit in and visit. We caught up on our families and and did some praying together. At around 2:30 I started getting ready to leave. I went out to tell Gary goodbye, and asked him if he wanted me to pray for him. He said yes, so God blessed me with being able to pray. I was so thankful and when I got out to the kitchen with Chris, she thanked me for praying for him. I sure want God to do a miracle. Nothing is impossible for him.
I headed home, and drove by her son’s house, which used to be our house. Then I went by our other house we used to live in. If was fun driving through the neighborhoods a seeing the changes. I got home and payed the Consumer’s Bill, then relaxed for a few minutes. We ate Cabbage Buns for dinner. They tasted yummy. Then we went to church to Bible Study. It was another good study on the Holy Spirit. Stacey shared her testimony tonight. It was such a good one
We came home and relaxed and I worked on my blog.
