Sat., 4/18/26, Much Cooler today and windy, went to Marine Corp. League Breakfast, Facetimed with Vikki and Rehvyn, Dug grass out that was around plants,

This is the view out their window...the River is really overflowing and yard is flooded 

Bill got new parts and fixed our high faucet for our hose.  He is going to put one on the other side of the deck too which will really be nice and also helpful

I dug out the high grass that was around these plants on the top one two days ago and the bottom one today.  The dirt is sure heavy because of all the rain.  

Sure is different from yesterday...no desire to sit out there today in the cold and wind.  Blossoms are really blowing off my pretty tree.

We got ready and went to breakfast at Riverside this morning.  The Marine Corps League reserves the back room once a month.  We had a nice time visiting with everyone.  Their breakfasts there are the best!

Bill had to go to Lowes to get a new water faucet for our high faucet we connect the hose to.  It makes things so much easier.  Charlie made the first one for us.  Bill made one for the front hose and now is going to make an other for on the other side of the deck.  So happy about that.

I read my Bible and did my prayer book.  I started some laundry after that.  I went outside and dug up lots of tall grass that was covering my plants around the brick posts out by the end of our driveway.  Nice to be able to see the plants again.  I pulled weeds more weeds by the plants where Bill was working on the faucet too and by the steps to the deck.  It was cool and windy, so I was happy when I was done and could go back in the house.  

I talked with Melissa for quite a while.  Then I Facetimed with Vikki and Rehvyn, then with Laicey,  then talked with Sue, then talked an hour with Marie and prayed with Marie for some different requests needing prayer.  I called Kimmy to find out about Abi’s dance recital tomorrow.  Bill and I are both riding with Kimmy and Jared to the recital.  It will be a fun day.  We are going to church first, then leaving.  I’m glad Bill wants to go too.  Rehvyn went potty on his potty at Vikki’s.  He was so happy.  Us too!
