2/7/16...Super Bowl Sunday...all the kids and families came over

My Sunday School kids made sheep masks and then had fun acting out the parable of the lost sheep.

The boy in the front on the right is Wayne Schram's grandson and he didn't want to come into class.  He wanted to go with his uncle in the 1st grade.  He sat at the table and didn't want to get in our circle for the story so I took the flannel board over by him and all the kids moved there.  Then he decided to come on the floor with us and each child put a character on the flannel board for me.  He had tons of fun after that and was glad he came.  Made me happy!

We went to church.  Drove separate because I had to teach Sunday School.  I came home and started the food.  Bill stayed for the meet and greet at church.  We had doughnuts at church today.  Yum!
The kids came and we ate around 4.  So nice to have everyone here.  The kids had fun playing together.  We enjoyed watching the Super Bowl, especially the commercials, and our team won so that was nice.  (The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning was playing)  Thanks Vikki for being such a great help even though your hands were hurting.  Nice surprise to have the kitchen all cleaned up.

Got up, got ready, read the Bible and waited for dad to get ready.  Made him coffee to go and then we headed to Wes and Gayla's to ride with them to our Officer Training for CMA.  Brian met us there to ride with us.  We stopped at Cops and Doughnuts to have coffee and doughnuts on our way.    So yummy.  We left there and headed to Houghton Lake.  There weren't many at the church, so we drove through the town and saw all the ice fishermen out on the Lake.  There were so many.  We went back to the church at 12:45 and there were lots of people there by then.  We had a great meeting.  When we broke off into officer groups.  I went and sat in for Luis in the treasurer group.  At 4 we left and headed to the Ponderosa in West Branch.  Our area reps met us there and ate with us.  We headed home and watched a movie on the Christian Station.

Friday, 2/5/16...Went to visit Kimmy on the farm today and got to see the boys too.

Someone wanted a treat!

I went to Kimmy's to spend the day.  We had a nice visit and it was fun getting to see the baby lambs and feeding one.  They are adorable.  We checked on the ones expecting every hour, but no new babies while I was there.  I was so happy seeing the momma we prayed for doing great.  Thank you Jesus.  I knitted on my bag and Kimmy knitted some on her blanket.  She made yummy egg salad for us to have for lunch.  It was so good.  We went to get the boys when they got off the bus.  I was so happy to see them.  They were excited to show me the legos they made and Jacob played his clarinet for me and the piano.  So much fun.  I had to leave at 405 to meet Bill, Charlie and Sue at the fish fry in Auburn.  The food was delicious.  There was yummy perch, 3 kinds of potatoes, beans, green beans, tapioca, and great bread.  I went to the store after we got home and got some stuff for Super Bowl Sunday.

2/2/16....Rainy, sleety, lots of lightning and thunder.....

Went to breakfast.  We had a good turnout and good devotion.  Went grocery shopping afterwards to pick up some stuff for Super Bowl Sunday.  Came home and got the house cleaned.  Knitted some.  Prayed for care group people along with my daily prayer list people.  It was yucky out but we still had a great turn out....15 here.  Everyone came except the two couples who are out of state.  Emily did the worship music and everyone entered in.  It was amazing.  We learned about spiritual gifts and how we should be using them for the Lord.  Bill did great leading the group.  Dennis and Amy brought us a bag of huge oranges from Florida.  They are so delicious and my new knife cuts the peels off perfectly.  I took care of his cats while he was gone.  They gave me a 25 gift card for Olive Garden too.  We are going out to eat with them to talk about their upcoming marriage so will buy their lunch at Olive Garden with it when we go.  I told him I didn't want any thing for taking care of his cats because it's right on the same road as our church and I was going by there a lot anyway.  Sure am happy with the oranges though....didn't argue about those.  I can't wait to go see Kimmy Friday.  Missing that girl!

2/3/16....Prayng for Peyton and Isaac as they aren't feeling well

Slept in till 8 this morning.  Spent time worshipping, reading the Bible and praying.  Showered and got ready.  Spent time knitting my bag.  It was sunny and beautiful today for quite a while.  Still pretty windy though.  I talked to Kimmy and she said she had 6 inches of slush from last night.  We only got a little sleet and the rest rain.  We both had lots of lightening and thunder.   Balanced the check book, then did some more knitting.  Made chicken tenders, potatoes and peas for dinner.  We have been having an orange from Florida every night.  They are huge and very delicious.  I left at 6 for my kids care group.  They were very good tonight and loved their surprises from the surprise box.  Can't wait to go to the Freehand Garage sales to get more stuff for my box.  Peyton isn't feeling good and Jack had to have a treatment before my class so we all prayed for them in class.  My kids love to pray.  They were happy to hear about Kimmy's momma sheep doing good after having triplets too.  Love my kiddos!

1/31/16 We went to church today

Vikki took this picture of Peyton, Nana and Isaac with our umbrellas.  She got my better side!
We went to church.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton, and Isaac came.  Kenzie and Cole came in late.  Kenzie asked me why all the people were there.   I told her we were growing.  The worship was amazing and the message was great.  Kenzie wants me to come visit the church she is going to in Midland.  I told her I could come in two weeks.  I have teach Sunday School this coming week.  After church, we went out to Chili's with Bill and Gail Mallory.  They came to our church and we haven't seen them in a long time.  They are long time friends.  Our girls used to play with their daughter, Jackie.  We spent much time together back in the day.  We came home and I changed and headed to Vikki's.  We went shopping.  Peyton and Isaac were excited that we could use our umbrellas because it was raining.  They sure are good little shoppers.  They know what everything is and they think they need everything.  They sure were cute and made me smile.  We had fun.

2/1/16 Vikki and the kids came over to watch a movie

We had a visitor today!

Isaac loved helping Papa get the ice off the deck using their feet.  He's a great worker

Hailey's DNA she had to make with Bruce for a school project.  It had to be free standing.  Evan wasn't too happy about his bucket being used and a hole put in it though

Glad I didn't have to come up with everything written on the bucket

Papa and Isaac

Peyton smiled a little even though she didn't feel good.

Vikki and the kids came to eat spaghetti and watch a movie.  She brought some delicious fruit so we made a fruit bowl.  I added bananas, oranges, blueberries and she had strawberries and grapes so it was very yummy.  Thanks Vikki.  We watched the movie, Old Fashioned.  Peyton wasn't feeling good and just layed around most of the time.  She had a fever.  We prayed for her and her fever went down for a while.  She played for a few minutes then.  Isaac and her were coughing.  Poor sweeties.  Isaac had fun playing and picked up all the toys by himself and put them away when it was time for them to leave.  Vikki and I knitted during the movie
