7/3/16....went home for church

We left early to go home for church. After church we went home and watered the garden and flowers and fill bird feeder sw. Did laundry,typed the Faith Riders newsletter and got ready to go back up north. Got there and saw Vikki at the pool so got ready and went to the pool. Bill stayed at the campfire with Rody. Came home and cooked hotdogs on sticks and warmed up chicken and veggies. We all walked around the campground and came back and sat around the campfire. After Peyton and Isaac went go bed, we all played dice. Then Bill, Vikki and I played 3-13.

7/1/16....Charlie and Sue came to visit

It rained during the night and was still raining a little when we got up. I went to get some groceries before Charlie and Sue came and Vikki went to find dog food. She called me and then we saw each other and realized we were in the same store. Got back and put stuff away and went for a walk. Charlie and Sue got here so we visited a while and then went for a walk. We had sandwiches for lunch and went for another walk. Played 3 games of euchre on the picnic table. Sue and I won all three games. Vikki started a fire and then Bill grilled chicken over the fire and I grilled potatoes and asparagus on the grill.
It turned out yummy. Charlie and Sue brought a strawberry rhubarb pie from Judy's pie place. It was delicious. We visited more and then they left. Bill watched the kids while we went to the store for a few more things we need for tomorrow. Got home and Vikki put the kids in bed. Bill watched them while Vik and I walked the whole campground. Came back and Vikki went to the adult swim. I stayed here while she went and I read my Bible and Joshua code book. She came back fast because the pool and hot tub were packed. We played 2 Games of 3-13 and one of dice. I won them all. Fun day even though it was on the cool side!
6/30/16....Bill came back up to the campground
Vikki went to take a shower. I watched Peyton and Isaac. Nikki brought Brooke to say goodbye and this was sad Peyton afterward. She was so sad she cried. Vikki got back a few minutes after Nikki came. Breanna and Braden came over a few minutes to tell us goodbye. I took the kids for a walk around the campground while Vikki did her hair. I thought that would cheer Peyton up. While we were walking, a lady and some girls at their camper asked if the kids wanted to pet a baby blue jay. Peyton and Isaac were so gentle with it. The lady said it could fly but liked drinking the water she gave it. I took pics and then we left. Later on when we went back, she said the mom bird came and flew into her head and the baby flew off with it. We went down to the pavilion to get pretzels and cheese and one ice cream for Peyton. Vikki told Breezy I was with her (Vikki was going to treat me). Breezy didn't let her pay again.
Breezy is so sweet to them. Bill came on the motorcycle while we were down there. We walked back and Bill grilled sirloin burgers while I made potatoes and peas. We put the almost cooked sliced potatoes on the grill too. Yum!
We left after that for Bubbas to ride to Camp Fishtails. Had a good group of us. The kids were really sweet and liked the motorcycles. Wes and Gayla, Elaine and Bill and I rode to Purcells in Pinconning afterward. Elaine ran out of gas so we stayed with her while Wes and Gayla went for gas. We had hot fudge sundaes at Purtells. Vikki had a fire going and the bed made up and kids sleeping when we got home. She even took Mocha out before we got home. So happy. We played 3-13 and dice when we got back.

6/28/16. Kimmy and the boys came. It was a cool day starting out, butdid make it up to 70.

Are the biggest and best in the campground. I texted Kimmy to let her know it will probably be busy from Thursday on because of the holiday so they came today and are coming tomorrow. Yay! She got here and we went for a walk. Kimmy spotted some wood at an empty campsite so we walked to it. There was lots so Vikki went to get her car. We looked up and noticed we were right next to Greg and Nikki's campsite. Their kids came out and I have Brooke a birthday hug. Put some wood on their pile too. Finished our walk and showed Kimmy the Clam screen tent. Came back and the kids all went to the store and we adults ate. The kids ate earlier. We went swing afterward and went for another walk around the campground. Kimmy and boys left and Vikki, the kids and I went to some stores. Got a couple of little birthday gifts for Brooke. Left them at their campsite as the went home for the day. Swe cooked chicken, corn and potatoes for supper. Yum! Sat by the fire Vikki made for a long time. Played 3-13 and dice. Vikki won card game and I won dice. Munched on some popcorn afterwards
