The redoing of the vows was very nice!  Love this family we have been friends with (like family) since before Cathy and Tim were married.  We had so much fun reminiscing about fun times together while we enjoyed a delicious meal.  Love, Ellen, Kyle's wife too.  She fits right in!

4/2/17..MAX GOT BAPTISED!!! Went to Holly Brandle's baby shower, Went to Max's Baptism party

Max's Baptism....what a special day as he is following Jesus in baptism and living his life for Him!  Max loves Jesus so much and it fills this Nana's heart with joy!
Bill and Jeff Davis baptizing Max

Not the washing of the water, but the confession of faith...as the Bible says!  Max has confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior!!!  We are proud of him

Love this picture of all of us worshipping at church!

He was pretty happy to get his Action Bible.  Adam told him right away that he has read his 5 times already!

What a nice day for the kids to play outside

Hailey and Bruce playing a song together for us.  They sounded great!

Max reading his Action Bible at night.  He read over 75 pages!
It was Celebration Sunday at Church today!  26 people became new members of New Life.  Lots of Baptisms too!  Lots of life at New Life!   So many people serving in the church and the Community!  Blessed to be a part of this body of believers!  Papa got to baptise Max so that made it even more special.  We all went up front when he got baptized.  Precious moment for sure!  Loved seeing all the baptisms.  There were other kids who I have had in my class getting baptized too.  Proud of all of them.  The church had a huge cake for everyone afterwards to celebrate.
We came home and got ready to go to Holly's shower.  It was so nice seeing my sisters and nieces, plus Brian and Wesley when they dropped Sara Jo off and picked her up.  We girls all sat together.  Sara Ann was so sweet and loves the Lord like we do.  I was so proud of my girls because they are so sweet, caring, and loving.  The love of Jesus shines through them.  I sure couldn't ask for better daughters.  Peyton got to come with us and she was so good.  She sat on my lap lots which made me happy.  It was nice seeing Sara's new baby.  She was such a good baby at the shower.  Her big sister, Aubrey, is beautiful and sweet too.  Molly Jo is 11 now and is such a sweet girl.  My sister, Jody, moved to Farwell and my sister, Gus, moved to Houghton Lake.  Holly got tons of gifts for the baby.  It was a very nice shower!  We went to Melissa's after that to celebrate Max's baptism.  They had lots of good food and the weather was great so the kids played outside and Bruce grilled burgers, chicken, and hot dogs outside.  Chuck and Sue came too which was nice.  Max loved his Bible his mom and dad got him that had a real leather cover. He was so excited.  He also loved his Action Bible we got him.  We all had time visiting!  Hailey and her daddy played a song on their instruments for us.  They sound great.  Very fun time!

3/31/17....Went to Kimmy's! Went to church and filled Easter Baskets for Restored Gems

Evan, Peyton and Isaac (and Lenny) in the car ready to go to Aunt Kimmy's

This picture was one Vikki took!  Love it so I borrowed it

These are our two cuties that had to have stitches.  Evan's are out now

Jacob is so caring and loving...Nice young man and wonderful grandson

Eli picked behind the couch to pose for a picture

They have so much fun at Aunt Kimmy's.  There are so many fun toys!  Fun cousin time!

Eli, Evan, Peyton, Adam, Jacob, Lennox and Isaac (behind couch)!  This picture makes my heart smile!

The pretty baskets we decorated with ribbons, flowers, etc.  Then we got to fill them with candy!

Jeannie kept trying to hide behind me.  Very good turnout to help decorate and fill baskets.
Got Evan up to get ready to go to Kimmy's.  He was excited to have Aunt Vikki, Peyton and Isaac come and go with us.  They all fit in my backseat, but were very snug.  The kids had fun and were so happy to see Aunt Kimmy and play with all the toys.  At noon, Vikki went to the bus stop to pick up the boys.  They always give such great hugs and are so excited to see us. The kids all played and had lots of fun while we visited.  I did get in a game of marbles with all of my sweeties.  So much fun.
At night, Evan stayed with Papa and I went to church to decorate Easter Baskets for Restored Gems ( a community ministry) to take to people working at Deja Vu to minister to them.  They have been allowed by the owners to go in and pray with people and talk to them.  Every now and then they take gifts to them.  What a blessing to do this to help such a wonderful ministry.  Came home and Evan was still awake.  We read a book and the Bible and then prayed and I tucked him in.

3/30/17.....Evan spent the night!

Evan was pretty excited about the hot wheels car he got in his happy meal.  He wanted to take the one I got to give to Max

Evan had fun playing and made lots of friends to play with

Evan plays so good I hardly knew I had him here.

Melissa and her family plus some friends of theirs went to Henry Ford Museum.  Melissa talked about packing juice boxes and stuff for their trip, but Evan wanted to come stay with Nana.  I was so happy.  Then Jack said he wanted to come too.  He couldn't because his best friend was going with them.  Sure am glad my kiddos love me.  I sure love them.  Evan played so good, I hardly knew he was here.  We went to McDonalds and ate and then he played with some kids there and had lots of fun.  We read the Bible and another book before I tucked him in and we prayed.  Such a good boy!

3/29/17...Went to Sportzone and walked, Eli tripped and went to the ER,ran some errands, taught kids care groups

My sweetie Eli tripped at school, and Kimmy had to take him to the ER.  He needed 3 stitches and had to have shots to numb it.  He was very brave!

He did good getting his stitches and got this cute stuffed dog at the hospital.  He sure looks happier in this picture!  He thought he was pretty cool once he had his stitches.  He must be trying to be like Evan! Ha Ha!  Our boys need to wear helmets I guess
The foam blocks each had one word from our memory verse.  The kids took turns finding the next word in the verse and building a tower until the whole scripture was said.  They sure did a good job!

I just told Gigi not to stick her tongue out and I got home and Peyton's tongue was out.  That girl!

Couldn't decide what picture to put on so put both on

Isaac, Aleiyah, and Morgan with the tower they build.  Aleiyah put her cross necklace on it.

Got up early and walked at Sportszone.  I talked to Bill and the three guys at his table there and he told me he walked 3 miles in 4 minutes and challenged me to do it.  I usually walk fast, but this was top speed.  While I was walking this guy who walks really fast passed me and turned around to tell me he liked my shirt that said living free to worship him!  He stayed about a half a lap ahead of me.  Finally on my next to the last lap, he caught up to me.  I said, You must be a believer in Jesus and he said he was a firm believer.  Then he shared that he was from Hemlock, graduated in 2000.  He was directing traffic at his house for a graduation/engagement party when a car hit him.  They pronounced him dead.  They took him to the hospital by ambulance and he said the ambulance drivers saved his life.  He was in the hospital for around a year.  He was always supposed to be in diapers and never walk.  He is a walking miracle.  I can't even keep up with him!  I shared the miracle God did for Melissa.  We were both rejoicing in our awesome God.  I walked 3 miles in 45 minutes too!  Wouldn't want to walk that fast all the time.  Came home and read my Bible and spent time with the Lord!  Went to Baby's r us, the Family Book Store (still have lots of nice stuff and good deals and will be open for another 8 weeks)  Got a gift for Cathy and Tim when they redo their vows Saturday.  Dropped some stuff off at Goodwill.  I got a text from Kimmy, and Eli had tripped at school and fell.  My poor sweetie had to get 3 stitches, but was very brave.  He got free hot chocolate and donuts after from Tim Horton's.  That was nice of the worker there.  I was happy to get to go teach my class tonight.  It was a great lesson on forgiveness.  Love the curriculum we are using now.  Joan, Tina, Chris, Pat and I were talking in the hallway and Stacie came up and told me how they miss being in our care group.  That our care group made them feel like they were at home. She was so sweet!
