Bruce, Melissa and the boys dropped off Panera Mac n Cheese for Hailey for her birthday.  It one of her favorites and she was so happy
Melissa, Bruce, Max, Jack and Evan telling Hailey Happy Birthday in the morning and taking her Panera Mac N Cheese

Hailey before her birthday party started

Hailey had her own pail of dirt with gummy worms to eat.  Her candles were on it.  It was so cute!

Hailey blowing her candles out

Hailey reading her card from Jack...he told her she was his favorite....it was such a sweet card
 Hailey loved everything she opened

Hailey saw the present was shaped like a ukulele so got excited and just grabbed it out to open

I reminded her we always open the cards first....she put the present back and got the card lol.  We had so many laughs over this
She put the ukulele back and got the card out to read first.  We were all laughing.  She really wanted a ukulele for her birthday.
Hailey laughing because we told her that was Kenzie's violin case and I just used it as a box

Hailey loved her ukulele and was so happy that it really was what she thought

It was a fun day! I called Hailey and sang Happy Birthday to her.  Love that girl so much! We ate breakfast, then I rang the school bell and we started spelling.  For some reason, they hate that school bell.  They did great on their spelling.  Isaac got them all right and Peyton only missed one.  We started reading and had fun doing that.  Then it was time to pack up and take them home.  Kenzie is coming today, so to save time, I just dropped them off since I wanted to see Kenzie too.  We had a nice visit and looked at all of the beautiful things Kenzie and Travis have made.  Kenzie gave me a beautiful ring that she made for me.  It is my favorite out of the ones she has made me. What a keepsake.  I gave them a box of cut out cookies.  When it was time to leave, Travis and I moved the boxes I had brought for them to their car.  I did the last of my wrapping.  We went to Melissa's for Hailey's Birthday party. It was a little cold out and snowing, but Bruce had a fire going in the fire pit and we all stayed pretty warm.  It was such a fun party and Hailey sure was happy.  Love having such a loving and close family.  After we left, Bill and I went and picked up Coco Loco's.  He always thinks of that when we leave Hailey.  She got us hooked on eating there.  When we finished eating we watched a movie called Lucy S....can't remember the last name.  She was the best and cutest little actress.  It was a sad, but happy movie.

Wed., 12/16/2020, Did a little shopping, went to Kimmy's, Peyton and Isaac came, Watched Homeless for the Holiday's

Adam, me, Eli and Jacob...these boys are making me start to feel short

Eli, Adam and Jacob

After our morning routine, I went to Midland to shop for a few things.  I had texted Kimmy and tried to call to see if she wanted me to pick up the fruit I ordered for the boys fundraiser.  I didn't hear back, so I finished my shopping and was going to head home.  Then I decided to run to Kroger and get the gift cards I needed to finish my shopping.  When I was leaving there, Kimmy called and asked me if I was still in Midland.  I wouldn't have been if I wouldn't have decided to get the cards.  She asked me to come over, so I headed that way.  I stopped to pick up shakes for the boys.  I was so happy to see them and it was so nice to visit at their house.  I was happy to see Wyatt too and he sure was excited to see me.  When I got home, I made dinner.  Vikki dropped Peyton and Isaac off.  We played 3-13 and then watched a movie...Homeless for the Holidays.  They loved it.  It's one of my favorites because it teaches such a valuable lesson.  I read the Bible to the kids, prayed with them and tucked them in.  Sure love those kiddos!

Tues.,12/15/2020 Peyton and Isaac came, Bill worked on his shed, prayer zoom meeting,

Love this great picture of Jared making a rag rug, so I borrowed it from Kimmy's blog

Kimmy and Jared now have their yarn in the shop and a new sign next to it

Bill is working his hunting blind

Peyton and Isaac...Isaac beat us at 3-13 today

Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac at 8:20.  I made her a coffee, put it in a to go cup and she left for work.  I ate a bowl of oatmeal and had my mug of coffee.  Peyton and Isaac ate before they got here.  We started spelling and Isaac got them all right.  Peyton missed two.  She learned those quickly, so we moved on to reading.  They read really good.  They are cute how they like to ask the other one questions to make sure they are paying attention.  That is supposed to be my job, but they really enjoy doing it.  They sure pay attention good while the other one is reading!  We had time to play a whole game of 3-13 today.  When Vikki got here, we ate lunch, then they had to leave.  Bill worked the whole day on his shed to make a blind for him to hunt in.  Now he's going to get em!  We ordered from Souper Cafe tonight and picked it up.  Reheated the soup and it sure was delicious.  We had a zoom prayer group meeting at 6:30.  We watched Wheel of Fortune to see if Bill was the Secret Santa winner tonight.  Nope!  Watched a Bob Hope Christmas Special.

Got most of my Christmas Wrapping done....just have a couple of more gifts to get

Isaac sure knows how to make a long train

Did our morning routine, then I went to pick up a Christmas gift I ordered from Best Buy.  Super easy. Ordered online, then went for curbside pickup.  Hit the notification on my phone and in two minutes a person brought out my order and put it in the back of my car.  When I got home, I wrapped Christmas Gifts.  In the evening, Bill and I watched a movie.  Talked to Melissa a couple of times and Face timed Vikki and the kiddos.

Peyton and Papa...papa put the frosting on and Peyton decorated them

Isaac was a designer cookie decorator

Some snow stuck on the ground and deck

I love this load of mugs that came out of Kimmy and Jared's Kiln.  Amazing and such a variety of shapes, designs and colors

I got to church early and prayed with a few from the prayer group, then went to help Sara with kids church.  Lisa J. helped today for the first time too.  Now they just have 3 kids at a table to keep everyone safe.  We wore face masks the whole time and everyone loved my Christmas face mask Lela made. Came home and made bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast and ate.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over and we baked and decorated 2 batches of my Grandma Daisy's Christmas Cookie recipe.  What great helpers and what beautiful and delicious cookies.  Her recipe is the best ever!  Vikki cleaned up everything and did the dishes.  We had fun and the kids did great putting frosting on themselves and decorating this year.  Vikki did a great job decorating too, but didn't want to be in my pictures.  Bill did a super job putting frosting on for us so we could just decorate.  We listened to Christmas music and had fun and got them done super fast.  Bill and I watched the Chosen Christmas Special. It focused on the true meaning of Christmas, and was so worshipful.  Loved it!

Sat., 12/12/2020...Fun time watching For King and Country's Christmas Concert, Played tonk

We had a fun game of tonk this morning...Eli only played 3-13 last night, if we would play Tonk afterward.  We all forgot, so we played this morning
Adam and Eli watching the Three Stooges and laughing lots
Jacob, Adam, Eli and Peyton...Jacob wanted to get his shoes on so bad because Adam had his on.  Looks like Adam is on his toes and Jacob is trying to push him back down so he's flat footed.  The race for being the tallest continues...
 Jacob, Adam, Eli and Peyton
Peyton and me playing with the train

I was the first one up.  I unloaded the dishwasher and read my Bible.  Adam was the first of the boys up.  Papa was the next one up, then Eli and then Adam woke Jacob up at 9:45.  I made pancakes for breakfast, and then we played Tonk.  We watched a For King and Country Christmas Special from 2 years ago, since we missed the 2020 one yesterday.  It was a great concert. We watched the 3 Stooges after that.  The boys wanted the left over pizza for lunch so that's what we all ate except Bill, since we didn't have any without cheese.  The boys wanted to watch the movie Courageous.  Kimmy and Jared got here shortly after we started watching it.  Vikki and Peyton came right after them.  We had another nice family day. We girls moved into the living room so we could visit while the guys watched the movie.  I got the train out for Peyton and she set the tracks all up herself.  I worked on the other parts.  I'm leaving it up for Isaac to play with it.  It started snowing kind of hard and the deck turned white quickly.  Everyone left so they could get home before dark and before roads got icy. The boys sure were fun to have spend the night. They are so easy to have around and such great helpers.  Melissa called and we talked a few times today.  I really miss having her come over, but I sure am glad she is being very careful with all the people we hear of that we know getting now.  Happy Kimmy, Vikki and their families are in our bubble.
