Kimmy, Melissa, me, Lilly, Peyton and Vikki during our game of SkyJo.  Peyton won!
Isaac...I forgot to take a picture of him while he was here so Vikki took one and sent it to me
Maddy and Brielle
Brielle...her eye is so much better.  Thanking Jesus!

Maddy and I got together at 9.  We drank coffee and then did our Mentoring book.  Brielle was really good while we did it.  She played with toys on the blanket and now and then would watch the kids show on the TV.  We finished our lesson, Bill got home and I made Little Caesar's pizza's for lunch and we also had strawberry shortcake.  I got strawberries for 99 cents for nice containers.  The strawberries were amazing.  Not one bad one.   I went back to get more today after I dropped Maddy off to meet her mom at the Mall and they were 2.99 for the same container.

I did my Bible study lesson when I got home.  This is our last lesson for the Book of James. I sure have enjoyed it.

Vikki called and got our order for $1 tacos and also chips and salsa.  She picked up what every family wanted and then brought it here.  She brought Lilly with them because her grandma had to go to the hospital by ambulance.  We prayed for her, and later found out it wasn't a stroke like they thought.  It was a bowel obstruction.  Very thankful it's something they can take care of much easier.  Kimmy, Jared and Eli got here, then Melissa and Jack and we all enjoyed the food.  Thank you, Vikki for picking it up for us.  Bill was meeting Alec, so he ate his chips and salsa when he got home.

Jared took the boys to their fencing class.  He took some nice pictures while he was there.  We girls all played SkyJo and had lots of laughs and lots of fun even though I think the game could be called The Family Feud tonight lol!  Lilly and Peyton just learned it tonight and liked it lots.

Slippers Maddy, Alec and Brielle got me for my Birthday

Bill and I went to the visitation for Justin's brother who had a heart attack and died at 44 years old.  So sad.

When we got home, Bill left to meet Charlie for coffee and I went to Meijer for a couple of things and then to Olive Garden with Maddy for lunch.  She was so sweet to treat me to lunch for my birthday and even get Italian donuts for us for dessert.  It was all delicious.  We had a great time hanging out too.

I came home and was super tired.  Must be the time change, plus I stayed up until after midnight and got up early this morning.  Our new couch is sure nice for napping.

Melissa and I went to Walmart and she got the stuff she wanted, and I got a couple of things too.  We had fun together.  When I got home, Bill and I watched a movie.

Sunday, 3/12/23, Lost an hour of sleep because of time change, Went to prayer and church, went to Outback, took a nap, I went and watched Adam play his last game of futsal!

Adam in action during the hame

Me and a very tired and sweaty Adam after his game.  He sure played hard and did great.

I read my Bible before we left for prayer.  Prayed over my friend Lisa before I went back to prayer.  Prayer was awesome and our church service was so good.  It was such a great message of Truth from the Bible.  After church we went up with the Elders and Deacons to pray for people.  We prayed for Brian, Stacey and their new baby, then for Brad for his cousin.  I talked to Jocey after service.  Her uncle who was only 44 just passed away.  We had a good long talk.  Bill finally came up and asked me if I was going to spend the night.  Then I got my coat and went up to him while he was talking to Todd and Frankie and asked him the same thing lol.

We went to Outback after church and used our gift card.  Bill had sirloin steak and I had the chicken on the barbie.  It was good, but I had to scrape some of the seasoning off of mine because it was to much and very spicy.  We had a nice time.

We came home and closed the curtains so it would be darker, then took naps.  Had to catch up on the time change.  Springing forward is always hard, when we don't go to bed any earlier.

I went to Adam's game and enjoyed it so much.  This was his last game and I sure am happy to know exactly how they play it now.  Those kids really get a workout.  They played really good.  Adam kicked the ball a long ways and made an amazing goal.  I'm so happy he has been able to play on this team and keep active.  He is one in shape guy!

I came home, and we watched a movie and had  banana splits.  I talked to Melissa all the way home.  Then Vikki called me when I got home.  She caught up on her rest today too.  I had invited her to Adam's game with me, but she was sleeping and didn't see my message until too late.  I texted with Maddy.  Her iron is low and she is feeling exhausted, so I'm praying for my sweet friend.

Bill took the kids all down to ride on the Fan Boni.  He is on the left waiting to take a video of them when they come out.  Such a good papa!
Melisa took Isaac and Evan around to play games.  They sure had fun together!

Bill was way down below by where the Fan Boni comes out and kept motioning to us to look.  He took this picture.  He has an amazing camera on his phone.
Jacob, and Eli enjoying the game
Kimmy and Vikki made this basket for Jared while we were at the game.  It's going to go by his fish tank.

We went to Faith Riders chapter meeting in the morning.  Barb took Lew's place as he and Cindy couldn't come yet because it's too close after his bypass surgery.  She did a great job.
It was a good meeting and nice getting together with everyone.  Bill announced that he's going to be the State Coordinator now.  Everyone was happy for him.

We came home and were tired from staying up really late and getting up early, so he took a name in the loveseat recliner and I decided to try out the new couch.  It sure was comfy.
When I got up, I went upstairs and sorted through some things I am donating to Goodwill.  I also talked to Kenzie and there are some things her and I have great memories of so she is taking some of those and also some curtains I loved, but they don't match anymore.

I texted with my sister, Brenda, to check and see how she is feeling after being diagnosed with Covid.  She told me she is coughing up stuff now, so I sent a picture of what helped everyone in our family feel better and help the congestion while going through it.  She was sending her hubby to Rite Aid to get some for her.

In the evening, we picked up Melissa, then went to Vikki's to pick up kids to go to the Hockey for the Homeless game.  Evan and Isaac rode with Bill, Melissa and I, and the rest of the boys and Claire rode with Jared.  Peyton had Lilly over and hung out with Kimmy and Vikki.  We sure had fun at the hockey game.  Evan and Isaac had fun playing games; Adam and Claire had fun getting a connected balloon hat, we all enjoyed the good worship that Frankenmuth Bible Church led.  We went in to find our seats.  We got pops and popcorn.  Bill got his and mine first.  The he was so fun and took all the kids with him to get what they wanted for snacks/drinks.  Melissa and I went later and got her a pop and Bill a popcorn.  It sure was packed.  We smelled a burned oil smell while we were in line.  When we took Bill his popcorn, I tried it and it tasted like that burned smell.  He told me to see if any of the kids wanted it.  Jacob tasted it and like it so he ate it happily.  If I wouldn't have mentioned it to Bill, he might have enjoyed it more lol.  The kids were so fun on the Fan Boni and we sure enjoyed seeing them be so enthusiastic.  Great group of kids there!
Our team won the game and lots of money was raised for the Rescue Mission which is great.  We left and headed home.  We took Evan and Jack this time so we could just go to Melissa's.  Jared took Isaac with him because he had to pick up Kimmy from Vikki's.  Such a fun evening with wonderful family and friends.

Friday, 3/10/23, Lots of schools cancelled because of snowstorm, Went to Bible Study, Kimmy, Jacob and Eli came over, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over, Bill picked Adam up from school, fun family day

When I backed out of the driveway this morning, I stopped and took a picture.  It was so beautiful with the snow on the bushes!

Pictures Sarah took of our Bible study of James last week.  Middle table is ours.  We look a lot more serious than the other tables.  Joan is on the end with her back turned.

All the schools were closed around us except for Freeland and Midland.  I waited to see if our Bible study would be cancelled but it wasn't.  The roads weren't bad at all.  Only two from our table made it, so we joined another table who had two missing.  It was such a good Bible study and fun to get to know some of the younger ladies in our class.  We had prayer for Joan afterward because she was in tears because her son in law lost his job and just found out today.  He and his wife have a new baby and a 2 year old.  Prayer was good and we are expecting God to provide another job quickly.

After Bible Study, I came home and made goulash.  Peyton and Isaac were here with Papa and they wanted to be my taste testers.  Boy were they good ones.  They were so cute I should have videoed them.  They are the perfect taste testers who give the best compliments and sounds to go with it.  They made me smile.  Vikki got back from picking up a book case and taking it to her house.  Kimmy, Adam and Eli came right after Vikki.  We all ate goulash (except Eli...I made a small pizza for him), then we hung out together and had fun.  Vikki, Kimmy and I went to the fish store (Blue Thumb), and then to Walmart to use the pharmacy card and purchase lots of good stuff.  When we got home Melissa, Jack and Evan came over.  We had fun hanging out and talking. We watched one Ozzie and Harriet show, then played Skyjo with Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki.  Melissa always seems to win this game and won again today.  It was Vikki's first time playing.  Vikki had more goulash and Jack had some goulash.  Kimmy packed hers up and also put some goulash in a container to take home to Jared.  Rody ordered pizza for him, Jack, Eli, Peyton, Isaac and Evan.  The kids are spending the night there.  After everyone left, I ate goulash.  Bill wasn't hungry then, so he just read on his book.  I read on my book afterwards.
