Saturday, 5/10/25, Went on group motorcycle ride, Cindy and Lew came up for the day, had a potluck and Bill led a meeting, met with Art and Pat in our camper for a while, then went out to the group campfire, Played 3-13 and dice, toast with the furnace running

Jeff, Ron, Bev, Doug, Sue, Pat and Art ahead of us heading out for our group ride
Sad seeing all of the damage in and around Gaylord from the ice storm.  So much and it covered a large distance.

Our group picture at the Harley Davidson dealer where we (CMA) were doing a bike/biker blessing.  Russ from Indian River did the bike blessing and we handed out blessing stickers.
Styletto’s Women’s Riding Group...we were doing the bike blessing for them and anyone else who wanted to stop in
Russ, far right and Marsha second from the left were from Indian River and are wanting to start a CMA chapter there

We had prayer over our motorcycles too.  We also prayed for anyone needing prayer.
Tree damage on our ride with Jeff on the way back.  He picked great curvy roads which were so much fun.

Our potluck.  The guys hung tarps up to block the cool wind from us all

We gathered at 9:30 and left for our group ride to go to the bike blessing in Gaylord at Zipps Harley Davidson.  It was much cooler than yesterday’s ride.  When we got in the Gaylord area there were many trees damaged from the ice storm.  It was so sad.  That is one of our favorite places to go.  My nephew is the undersheriff there and was involved in much of the cleanup.

There was a lot of damage right on the side by the parking lot at the Harley dealer too.

We enjoyed talking to the lady bikers and finding out a little more about them.  Some were from the UP and some were from Davidson.  They have a large group of riders and they just go on the rides they can meet at.  The dealership had a luncheon for them with delicious little ham, turkey and roast beef sandwiches, fries, cheese, and pop.  They had lots so invited us to eat too.  Afterward, we all went outside and Russ lead the bike blessing.  We handed out blessing stickers, then the women’s group left, some other bikers left and then we prayed for each of our bikes and riders.  We prayed for Al who is having shoulder surgery on Tuesday, and for Paul who is dealing with some back and leg pain.  Then those who came in cars went to Buffalo Wild Wings and those of us who rode on motorcycles went on our ride that Jeff had planned.  He takes us on great rides always.  We stopped at a gas station in case any one wanted to get some snacks to eat.  We rode through East Jordan, Ellsworth, and Belaire.  My sister lives in Ellsworth.  I wish I would have know we were going through there. Bill and I would have tried to arrange to see her.  We got back to the campground at 3.  I put the cool whip on my banana cream pudding dessert for the potluck and also made a lasagna. We read our Bibles and then went outside to visit.  Cindy and Lew came up for the day to go to the potluck and to attend the meeting.  We visited with them, then took them around to see people and meet those they hadn’t met.  There was good food at the potluck and good fellowship.  We stayed nice and warm with the tarps keeping the wind out.  Bill did a great job leading the meeting.  Such a nice group of friends to gather with.  Lew and Cindy left for home after everything was done.  Art and Pat came and talked with Bill and I in our camper.  They are used to being the only Area Reps in the U.P. and are now having to work with our new Area Reps Bill and Teri.  We are having them get together again to just get to know each other better and to see how they can work together.  We went by the campfire after that.  It was pretty cold so we weren’t out there long.  Played 3-13 and dice and tonight I won both games.  Finally!!!  Jeff came to talk to us.  He and Kathy are stepping down as area reps after 17 years.  They are in Florida for 6 months of the year now and have been flying back and forth to events and training.  It is getting too hard for them.  We totally understand and are thankful for all they have done to serve in leadership in CMA.  They are an awesome couple and amazing friends.  We were sad, but we sure understand.  They will still be in CMA.

Friday, May 9, 2025, Went on ride with Sue and Doug, sat outside, took a tour of Kathy and Jeff’s new 5th Wheel, wast outside more, went to the Nirth Side Restaurant for dinner with everyone, sat around the fire, played games with Bill

I was a happy rider...it was warm in the motorhome
Bill and I when we were getting ready to leave Duane’s Restaurant.  That is a big dairy farm behind us..it was a little smelly
Bill and I riding in the motor home to get propane
Sue and Doug leading our fun ride today
Arriving at Yoder’s Amish store
Bill by our trike and camper!
My turn
Abby got a haircut and was so happy afterward
Melissa said she was really cuddly too

It was only 30 degrees out when I got up.  It was cold even with the little heater going.  The hot water wouldn’t work either.  I told Bill and he got up.  We moved a few things and put the slide outs in.  Then we went to a camper store to have propane put in the tank.  Motorhomes don’t have tanks that are removable.  You drive to a place and they fill the big tank there.  The guy that filled it for us said it was bone dry.  So much for enough to last a year lol.  We got back to the campground and Bill did a great job parking the motorhome in between our neighbors and their stuff and our Matt and chairs.  Sue and Doug wanted us to go on a ride, so we got ready and left at 9:30 to go for a motorcycle ride with them.  We went by some beautiful lakes.  Went through Lake City and saw another beautiful Lake, Lake Missaukee.  Shortly after we came to one of our destinations, Duane’s Restaurant in Falmouth.  We ate lunch and it was delicious.  Sue and I split a grilled club sandwich and fries.  After we were done, we walked through Ebler’s market and gift shop.  I bought a cute garden butterfly that was originally $42 and was on sale for $15.  I also got a cute set of salt and pepper shakers in a carrier for the camper.  Also got a beautiful gold cross necklace.

While Sue and I finished walking through the gift shop, the guys went to the hardware next door and looked around.  It pretty much had everything in it they said.  We left and it was so sunny and warm out.  No wind so our ride was so enjoyable.  We went to Yoder’s Amish Store next.  We got some chocolate covered pecans, Snickerdoodle cookies and Molasses cookies there.  It was sure a nice ride on a beautiful day with great friends.

We got back to the camper and put things away, then we sat outside and were going to read our Bibles.  We had too much company to read, so we visited with friends instead.  I played catch with Maverick our little 3 year old sweet friend camped next to us with Wendy and Shawn, his Meme and Papa.  Later, we went inside and read our Bibles.  At 5, we all met at North Side restaurant to eat.  The special was perch and cod.  I got cod and Bill got perch.  We shared and both were so good.  Yum!  We went to the gas station afterwards and filled our motorcycle tank up for our ride in the morning.

We sat around the campfire and visited with everyone when everyone got back to the campground.  It was cool out, so we girls and some of the guys had our blankets to keep us warm.  I had my heated jacket on too.  When Bill and I got back in the camper, we played a game of 3-13 and a game of dice.  Bill won them both.  We relaxed a while longer, then went to bed at 11:45.

Thursday, 5/8/25, Happy 84th Birthday to Wes, slept in til 8. Packed stuff, Bill read his Bible, Worshiped, filled jelly feeders, fed fish, two dishes of food out for Kit Kat, Bill loaded clothes baskets I had filled into my car, left for our camping trip to Billings Lake Campground, unloaded trike, set up camper stuff,,had Jeff for dinner, walked around and visited friends, sat around campfire

All of the rain sure made our new grass grow
My flower garden is looking so nice
Pretty building ahead on our drive!
I got this beautiful picnic table cover with bands that go around the ends at our Christmas party.  Julie got it for a girl’s gift. I had seen hers when we camped so I picked it when it was my turn to steal from someone.
I love these two cute chicks in the picture of Kimmy and Jared’s little apple tree.
This tree if Kimmy’s is so cute too and her garden looks beautiful in the background!

We got ready.  I listened and worshiped to amazing worship by Phil Wickham.  Then I made our coffee in our Yeti mugs! Went over my list and packed everything that was still not crossed off the list.  Bill packed his last minute stuff.  When I got the clothes baskets all filled, Bill carried them out to my car and then he took his shower while I drove back by the motor home and hauled everything in and put it away.  I filled jelly feeders for orioles. I saw one eating this morning.  I fed my fish extra too.  Filled Kit Kats self feeder up and put it by her house on the back porch. Put a metal dis filled out on the front porch in case a critter gets into the one in back.  I watered my plants in the house. I put the slide out in when I had stuff in the inside done.  Bill loaded the trike in the trailer and then hooked it up to the camper Then we were on our way.  It was a beautiful drive with the sun shining.

We unloaded the trike and Bill parked the trailer, then we  parked the motor home. We got there and parked right behind Jeff and Kathy.  We talked to Wendy and Shawn wo parked next to us.  3 year old Maverick stayed mexand had Oreos while they set up stuff in their camper.  He is so sweet! I just love him.  Kathy had taken her mom to an appointment in Ludington, so we had Jeff come in and eat chili and strawberry shortcake with us.  I read my Bible, then went outside and Maverick wanted me to throw a ball with him.  After a half hour I was tired, so went and sat by the campfire with everyone. It was cute because Maverick moved his little chair from the other side of our circle over by me.  We all had fun visiting around the campfire.  Finally it got too cold so we all went to our campers.  Bill and I played 3-13 and Dice.  I was ahead a little until the last hand and he went out and got me good!  He beat me at dice too!  I was talking to Melissa in the phone the whole time so that could be why lol!  I worked on my blog, then we were going to bed.  It was supposed to get down in the 30’s so I asked Bill how our propane was doing.  He said we had enough to last a year.  We went to bed, I had my electric throw, so my side of the bed was all warm and toasty.  We went to sleep and I never heard the furnace come on.  At 4:30 in the morning, Bill got up and turned on the little electric heater.  It was pretty cold for him to do that.  I never got out of bed and stayed super warm all night.

Wed., 5/7/25, Bill had dr. appt., I made chili, filled bird feeders, helped Bill wash the motorhome, took chili to Debbie D. returned shorts and top to Sam’s, went to pray at Katelyn’s house, went to Culver’s, went to see King of Kings at theater

Jacob and Uncle Fred...Jacob moved out of their house and back to his house today.  So thankful Fred and Lourdes took Jacob in and let him stay with them for a semester of his college.  It was such a blessing!  Love our family!
It was 66 degrees out and sunny with no wind, so I sat on the deck and ate, then read my Bible and did some praying.  Kit Kat is happy for this nice weather so she can lay by me again.

Cute video of Rehvyn saying I did it and running to tell his mommy

I dropped something off for Melissa. She wasn’t home, but I let Jack know I was coming over.  I went in for a couple of minutes, then had Jack come out so I could get a picture.  I should have had it on live.  His eyes are closed and I can fix them.  Oh well, he’s handsome with his eyes open or shut.
I sent this to Melissa.  It reminded me so much of Badger.  Since he has gotten better after kidney failure, he eats different.  He loves his food, and loves Abby’s too and always tries to eat hers.  He doesn’t like getting only what he should lol.

Bill had an 8 a.m. doctor appt. to go over his medications.  I got up before he left and started some laundry.  I took my shower, got ready and listened to amazing worship music.  I made chili for our camping trip and made extra to take to a friend.  Bill came home and read his Bible.  I ate a small bowl of chili to try it.  I told Bill it was done and he got himself a bowl too.  I went outside and ate mine and then read my Bible.  I was happy Kit Kat sat by me and she was happy I sat by her.  I filled the jelly in both oriole feeders.  I also filled all of the feeders since we will be gone camping.

I talked to Debbie to see if she would like the extra chili I made.  She was very happy because she has been having a couple of hard days because of an allergic reaction to medicine for her femur surgery pain and it is causing rashes and itching.  I sure know what that is like, and I am sure blessed and thankful I’m not itching anymore.  Jeff was home and was happy to have the chili.  We prayed for Debbie, then Jeff gave me a Frankenmuth Times Paper for Bill to read about the Candlelight Bowling Ally/Banquet Center fire.  I had to leave right away after that because I needed to return an outfit to Sam’s Club and needed to get home and pray and write down more scriptures for our prayer time at Katelyn’s.  After I did that, I went to Melissa’s to drop something off for her.  She wasn’t home, but Jack was so I gave it to him for her.  He came out with me to take a picture and of course I got my hug.

We went to Katelyn’s.  Her mom Sabrina was there and so were about 4 other couples from her church.  Sabrina had called us and said she had a strange request and wanted faith filled Christians to pray.  Her young twin 5 yr. old grandsons and their brother were seeing spirits in their rooms and house.  Then Katelyn saw one too. We have done this before so we said yes. We anointed entrance doors, prayed, commanded evil spirits to leave in Jesus Name, spoke God’s Word.  We also walked through the house and into different rooms and did the same.  We prayed for Katelyn and her family.  Then we walked outside and went around their property and prayed there too.

After we left there, we went to Culver's and got the Cod dinner.  It was very good.  We went to see the King of Kings movie afterwards.  At first we thought we were in the wrong movie and went out and asked.  They said it had started and we were in the right number.  Well it was Charles Dickens telling his son the story about Jesus.  It took a little while to get to that point of knowing that.  There were a couple of things like the 3 Kings going to the stable, Mary, Joseph and Jesus leaving late to go to Egypt when the soldiers were already there, instead ahead of time, and I was thinking it wasn’t going to be good.  After those things there were so many things that were right on according to scripture that it was really moving.  Bill and I both thought it was so good and want our kids and grandkids to see it now.  I will be buying the video.  It was cute because Bill asked me if I was going to buy it so I knew he wanted me to.

I talked to Kimmy today when she called me after moving Jacob out.  She said he gave Lourdes a bouquet of flowers he picked and made up into a bouquet.  She thought that was so thoughtful.  I talked to Vikki today too.  I also talked to Melissa a couple of times.

We got home from the movie at 11 and I did my blog after that.

Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Tuesday, 5/6/25, Kimmy picked me up and we went to Vikki’s, Kenzie, Rehvyn, Melissa, Hailey, and Vikki came to my house, we all went to Taco Tuesday, Bill picked up Peyton and Isaac and met us there, went to prayer

Rehvyn loved his new shopping cart at Nana and Papa's
Papa and Rehvyn
Rehvyn running and Aunt Kimmy watching him and smiling too
Kenzie and Rehvyn...he is the happiest kiddo and has the biggest smile. He reminds me of Kenzie when she was that age
Kenzie used to watch Jesus videos before she went to school when she stayed at our house.  She asked me if we still have them.  We do, but we don’t have a video player in the family room so I put in the Jesus movie instead.  Rehvyn would go up and point and if music was playing he would dance back and forth.
Papa took Rehvyn outside.  They knocked on the window and both smiled at us inside
Melissa, me, Hailey, Kenzie and Rehvyn at Sombreros.  We should have taken one when Bill, Peyton and Isaac came.
Our prayer group praying for all of the prayer requests people left in the prayer box on Good Friday.  I am so thankful for this group and to be part of it.  Many answered prayers and miracles from heartfelt prayers being made

Bev is 99 years old and is a faithful prayer warrior when we gather
My handsome Marine.  He had to send a picture in for his Honor Flight they are blessing him with to Washington DC.  I am so proud of him.
Rehvyn getting more Squishmallows while we were FaceTiming
This sweet great grandson melts my heart.  He was so fun and just so good all day.  When we FaceTimed he was just as happy.  Kenzie said he didn’t get a nap all day either.

It was a rainy cool morning.  Vikki had us come to her house because her piano tuner was coming to tune her piano.  She let me know Kimmy was going to stop and pick me up on her way.  We had a nice visit there, enjoyed watching the birds and then enjoyed watching the squirrel get on the flat feeder and eat.  Vikki thought he would take the orange half down with him but he didn’t.   and when the piano tuner was finished he played the piano beautifully.  He left, then we left and Vikki went to work. Kimmy and I stopped at the Blue Thumb for water plants, but they didn’t have the ones we wanted.  We went to Dick’s to look at the popular travel water jugs.  They are nice because you can pop them open and drink like from a straw or like a cup.  They were a little hard for me to open compared to the Thermos one I have now, so I am just going to be happy with what I have.

We came to my house and it wasn’t long before Kenzie and Rehvyn came.  Rehvyn held his hands up to come to me and did the same with everyone else today.  He loved pushing his grocery cart all over.

We ate Chicken Alfredo and cottage cheese for lunch.  Kenzie had been talking to Hailey and texting and asked if Hailey wanted to come.  She told Hailey she would pay for hers if Nana didn’t.  Such cute granddaughters.  Hailey said yes, she wanted to go.  Hailey and Melissa got here after we were done eating, but they had already ate so weren’t hungry.  We were eating Angel Food cake and strawberries with cool whip.  Rehvyn was eating mine and saying more after each bite.  He love it.  I had Hailey feed him some I dished up for him.  He was so funny how he went back for more right away.  We all hung out and had fun.  When Rehvyn was eating, he was in his highchair.  The legs stick way out on it.  Kimmy tripped on it, then I tripped on it which I always do.  Later while Kenzie carried her bowl of dessert to eat, I had my feet up on the round stool.  She sat down and sat right on the toes I had hurt when I tripped over the highchair.  I screamed, Kenzie jumped and then she was saying what do I do, what do I do.  She had dropped her bowl on the couch and everything came out of it.  She started picking up as much of the strawberries as she could.  I told her it was ok.  I had a shampooer.  Kimmy picked up the cushion right away, took it to the Kitchen sink, sprayed it off.  I sprayed a little upholstery cleaner on it and she rinsed it.  Then she dried it with the amazing absorbent microfiber rags Melissa told me about so I had got some.  It was clean in no time and no sign of anything ever spilled on it.  We continued our visiting and Kenzie got more Angel food cake and strawberries and enjoyed her dessert.  Bill left to go into town.  We girls decided to go to Taco Tuesday at Sombreros.  Vikki texted Bill to see if he could pick up the twins.  He said yes.  Then we all went to enjoy Taco’s.  I had told Bill he should go, so he met us there with the kids.  I had said I would pay the whole bill, but Bill actually did it.  Kenzie, Rehvyn and Isaac left to go to Vikki’s house.  Melissa, Hailey and I came home because Hailey had to get back home so she could go back to college.  Vikki, Kimmy, and Peyton came back and had ice cream from Yogurt Yeti they had gotten without telling us they were going to.  Those stinkers.  They all left, then I rested for a while til Marie called me to let me know how her doctor’s appointment went.  She had 3 big blessings and breakthroughs! Yay!  I had to leave for prayer right after that.  Some friends from church Ross and Dawn came for prayer for healing of cancer.  We worshipped, then Dawn shared what prayers were needed. Prayer was powerful and God moved.  They left after that so Ross could get home to rest.  Then we took the many prayer requests from Good Friday (we probably had 70 just in our group of three, and the other groups had just as many.  Such heartfelt requests.  What an honor to pray over them and ask the Lord to answer them.  Jeff took some pictures which we didn’t know about til after.  His wife, Debbie, fell and broke her femur so can’t be there.  We missed her.  He took pictures and will tell her all about prayer time.

I worked on my blog when I got home.  Then prayed and looked up Sciptures for when we go pray at our friend’s daughter and son in law’s home tomorrow night.
