This is the rain we got in the last few days...over 4 inches

Went to prayer, then church service.  Went to Cody’s Landing and got the best wrap ever!  Turkey, wrapped around bacon, with Lettuce, tomato, sliced avacado and Mayo.  I took half of it to the camper for Vikki so she could try it.  I stopped at Melissa's when I was home and took a picture of my sweet grandsons.

Bill went to the Caro Chapter meeting.  Only 4 were there.  I packed up the things I had to take to the camper and left for up north.  Bill came up after the meeting and after relaxing at home for a while.  He brought my swimming suit which I couldn’t find here so asked him to look for it.  It took him a while but he found it.  Yay!  We went swimming in the warm sunshine today and my old suit I keep in the camper was a pain.  It’s going bye bye.  Bill and I went for a walk and Vikki and the kids joined us after a while.  It was a beautiful night for a walk.  Texted with Adam and his grandma.  She found a couple of monarch caterpillars on some milkweed on Kimmy’s road.  So happy!!!  We all ate peaches for our snack and then snack sized pudding.

Our garden is wet and growing...hope we don't get too much rain

Got up early and packed some things to bring home.  Woke Kody up and had him get ready.  Isaac got up too.  We drove home in the rain.  I got ready and then Bill, Kody and I went to Logan's graduation party at church.  It was so nice and the food was great.  They served ice coffee's too which was a real treat.  I took Kody home afterwards.  Stacie gave us some banana cake that Makayla and Kelly had made for her.  Bill went to do a Memorial Service for his sister Debbie's friend's mom.  Hailey and Mia came to swim in the rain and hang out for a while.  They listened to worship music while they swam.  We had fun and the rain actually stopped for a little while.  Bruce came and got some things out of Hailey's car to take to Goodwill.  He was very nice and took all the stuff I had on my bench ready also.  It's been on my bench for quite a while.  Bill and Bruce visited for a while.  The girls left and I called Kimmy to see if it was ok to come visit and see Jared's parents.  She said it was a good time, so we headed there.  I called Melissa while I was riding.  I've missed her.    We were so happy to see Lela and Doug.  They are the nicest people, and we were so happy to get to spend time with them.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys are pretty nice too and were fun to hang out with.  We all looked at the Oriole's nest way up high in the tree.  We enjoyed walking around looking at their garden and all the beautiful plants.  We went to Costco after that and while we were in there, we got an alert that there were tornado warnings for 20 minutes.  I called all the girls to make sure they were checking the weather and keeping their eye on things.  Melissa was the only one I could get a hold of.  I started praying first of course, for everyone's protection.  Vikki called me back and I was so happy to hear they were ok.  Kimmy called me back and I was happy to hear they were all ok too. We got some groceries and I got a pair of nice tennis shoes for $24 and a pair of slip on Adidas shoes.  We went to eat at the Mongolian Barbecue afterward.  It was delicious.  Bill went up twice, but I could only eat the first plate and my salad.  We came home and I walked outside for a while and looked everything over again.  I worked on the newsletter for Faith Riders.  It was a great day with great people.  Sure am thanking God for protecting us all today and for the miracle of Jared's mom.

The kids went fishing after breakfast. Kody was the only one who caught any. He caught 5.  It started raining so we played dice.  Isaac won.  The kids played a game together.  We walked with umbrellas down to the pavilion to see if they were open to get ice cream. They weren’t.  Kody’s flip flops were hurting his feet so We got the car and picked him up. Our usual ice cream place in town was closed, so we went to a cute I cream shop in Sterling.

The kids went fishing in the rain when we got back to the camper. Practiced my ukulele for a while.  We ate chickens grilled potatoes and corn for dinner.  Went swimming at the outdoor pool, indoor pool and then outdoor pool again. Played dice and had popcorn.  Vikki and I played 3-13 after the kids went to bed

Happy Father's Day to Bill and our three amazing Son-in-laws who we love like sons!!! They love the Lord and are teaching their kids to do the same.  They are great dads who love their kids and are training them to be kind, loving and respectful.  All these dads are great examples. I am so thankful to have them in our family to be part of our lives!

It was a special day!  Church prayer first, then worship and church service...all of us gathered together and could sit in our regular seats.  Vikki, Rody and the kids were there.  Rody worked in the sound room.  The new big screen was up.  We came home and got ready for the Father's Day/Baptism celebration.  Vikki came early and helped me with the potatoes.  I peeled and she sliced.  She put them in pans and I added butter slices, then we put them on the grill.  Bill cooked the burgers and hotdogs on the new grill.  What a mess that was with grease spattering all over.  Bye bye grill!  You leave tomorrow and go back where you came from.  We watched Peyton get baptized at 4:10.  Papa had the honor of baptizing her.  So happy this sweet granddaughter of mine, made the decision to be baptized and follow Jesus.  It was a fun day visiting, eating together and celebrating the dads and Peyton's baptism.
