I’m glad Vikki reminded me to get a picture with Peyton and Isaac. I’ve been forgetting to get pictures sometimes. Vikki did Peyton’s hair and it only took 6 hours this time. She got a beautician’s chair. She sure did an amazing job. I can’t wait to try it when she trims my hair.
I got up at 7:30 and read my Bible right away and did some praying. Bill slept in til after 9.
I saw that Kit Kat caught a vole. She doesn’t bring them up to the door anymore. I was happy to see she is doing her job. I went to Melody’s house and dropped off two lamps for the Rescue Mission Impact Design Ministry. Then I went to Ollie’s and got two books for the shower tomorrow and also a card. I went to Kroger after that and got my free family size Oreo’s with my coupon. After that, I went to Good Time Pizza and picked up for large bags of dough for the cabbage buns I am making later. Vikki told me their dough is really good and pretty cheap. 4 bags cost $7. I headed to Walgreens to pick up the picture of what’s in the camper storage bins. That was $1.75 with a code. Next I went to Aldi’s and got a few things for our camping trip. I went to Walmart and prayed and found laminate quickly. I want to cover the index cards listing what is in each bin. Yay! I sure thanked God too. It was so fast. I went to Jack’s after that for their great deli lunchmeat and also some sirloin burgers. Then finally, I headed home. I sure was happy to get there. I put everything in the camper that is going with us. The rest I put away in the house.
I packed my clothes I need for this trip and moved some from the last trip into the house.
Just need to pack last minute things in the morning. Vikki came over and put some of her clothes in the closet. We were going to make the cabbage buns, but the dough needed to raise more. She left and will come back when I am home from our trip to Lapeer for Bike Night.
It was a wild ride on the way to Bike night. Bill was running behind so we went most of the way on the expressway. Not my favorite thing to do. We got there and listened to the Star Spangled Banner being sung. We waited on our bike while we listened. We saw Jim’s bike, so we walked around and looked for him. Talked to some really nice Christians, who were on fire for God. They had a booth there. Jim had been to the church they go to and knew them. We got a pop and walked around looking at all the bikes and handing out some State rally fliers. Bill wanted to walk down the street one more time, but I told him I had to get home to make the cabbage buns. I let Vikki know when we would be home and she came over when we got home. The ride home was so nice. It was all country roads and a nice relaxing speed. So fun!
I changed when I got home, started watering the garden and the front plants along the sidewalk. Then I came in and started making the cabbage buns. The dough was raised nicely which made it easy. Vikki got here and helped me finish the first tray and did two others. The kids are excited to be going to BayShore. It’s their favorite week of the year.
I’m glad Hailey and Evan are coming tomorrow and spending the night. Hailey said she is going to drive up some nights during the week too. She has to work this year.
The cabbage buns turned out really yummy. I sent Hailey a picture. She loves them and it has been our BayShore tradition to have them since she was really little. Bill and I tried one because we didn’t eat dinner. Yum! Vikki had already ate, so she and the kids didn’t want any. The kids don’t like them, even though they have never tried them.
I brought the cards in from the bins and laminated them. Will tape them in tomorrow.
