One of the girls from Heartsong talking with Peyton and then she prayed for her. I love how they all spend time with kids and minister to them.
Well, when Vikki and I got up in the morning, we commented on how we didn’t smell the roast last night or now. I looked and I had accidently put the crockpot on warm instead of low. I had put it in a crockpot bag, so after it cooled Rody and I put it in a trash bag and got rid of it. Boo hoo. What a mistake. I thought dinner was going to be so easy and so delicious. I put chicken strips out to thaw to have for dinner. We went to our class on Ephesias. It is just amazing how wonderful Tyler teaches this book with the Scriptures and the wisdom God has given him. We went to our cookie break, then back to the Patton Lodge for our Generosity class. This was a good class too.
We came back to the camper and Hailey took Peyton to the coffee shop in town. It’s a really nice one. The rest of us ate and hung out. Peyton’s friends came and hung out at our camper during quiet time too. After quiet time, Denny and Debbie came over to our campsite to meet us. Anna and Randy have been telling them about us being here for a few years now, but we haven’t met. They were so nice and we were so happy to meet them. They let us know when Randy and Anna were here and we went to their campsite. Vikki and Rody stopped in. We visited lots and then Bill went and got a campground people mover cart and drove us all over the campground and showed Anna and Randy where everything is and explained things as we drove around. It was so fun. We passed Hailey on our way while she was on a walk. She got 30,000 steps today. WOW!
We visited more and took pictures and then came back to our camper and Bill grilled chicken strips and I made mashed potatoes and corn. It tasted so good. We went to the evening service when we were done. The Evangelist spoke about the family tonight. It was such a great message. He had us married couples hold hands at the end and would ask a question and we would squeeze each other’s hand if we needed to talk about it in our relationship. Someone paid for everyone’s ice cream again so we went with Bev, Jim, Vikki, Rody and Hailey and got a bowl. It was pretty cold out while we were eating it.
We came back to the camper and the kids hung out with friends. Paul walked with us and then went on a walk with Vikki and Rody. Hailey took Peyton to Taco Bell to get some food.
Isaac decided he wanted to sleep on the floor. The girls were going to make up their beds. I went in my bedroom to get their piles of blankets and pillows and came out with them. I looked for the stool to make sure I didn’t fall over it. Instead, I started falling over Isaac who had already got on the floor with Lucy with his sleeping blanket and pillow. It was another slow motion fall and we all laughed til we cried it was so funny. Luckily I didn’t squish Isaac or Lucy. The girls and Vikki were taking lots of pictures of it and Bill came out and tried to push me over more. I’m such good entertainment.
I came to bed and worked on my blog after that.
