Bill and I at the service for the veterans after they returned
I slept really good until 5, then got up and came out to my recliner. I slept until Bill got up around 8, then made me a coffee and oatmeal. We both read our Bibles. I went upstairs and got ready. I listened to good worship music.
I cleaned winter stuff out of the closet and drawers, then put away the summer things upstairs that Bill carried up for me yesterday. Now he’s going to carry down the winter stuff so I can put it away down here. I’m keeping him busy.
I had a lamp that was by the stairs that was going to go upstairs, but I found a place for it in the living room. I’m trying to save Bill some steps. I do have one more load of summer stuff I found to go upstairs though.
At 1, we went to our mandatory Joint Class at Covenant M. There were just 4 of us needing surgery there plus our support person, although one man in a wheelchair didn’t have a person with him. The girl teaching the class did a great job and took time to let everyone ask questions. Bill asked her if she was related to Mike Eaton as that was her last name, but she wasn’t. We dropped off things I had packed up this morning for the thrift store. Then we went to Old Town Drive In and used a coupon I cut out of the paper and each got 2 coney dogs and a Root Beer. Yum! So much fun and so good.
We came home and saw our friend, Ziggy was at the movie seeing Sarah’s Oil. Afterward he commented on how good and inspiring it was. We are going tonight at 8:10 to see it. I love seeing good Christian movies. We didn’t care much for this movie. Sarah and her family were so nice I didn’t like watching them get treated badly. I guess I just like light hearted Christian movies with a good Gospel message. This was based on a true story, so I guess they portrayed it the way it was. Too many thieves and very evil men in it for me though.
