Bill, Adam, me, and Eli after the game
Bill slept in. I didn’t sleep good and got up and slept in the recliner for a while, then went back to bed, but couldn’t sleep so got up and took my shower. By the time I was done, Bill was up, had the bed made and was reading his Bible. I started reading my Bible too.
Melissa called. She didn’t sleep good either. We had a nice talk about last night and also what our plans were for today. She’s taking Evan and Lydia to a movie and to the Mall in Bay City. I am going with Bill to watch Adam and Eli play soccer. I read more in my Bible, then looked at the time and decided I’d better get my hair done because it was almost time to leave. Melissa called me again, so I put my phone on speaker while I got ready. We talked for a while, then she had to go get ready because she had to be in Bay City by 12:30. We had to be at the boys game at 12. I made us a little bit late.
Eli was goalie when we got there and Adam was in action on the field. I love watching them play. Both of them did great on the field. They are fast runners, good kickers, strong and alert. I was really proud of them. It was a little cool, but I didn’t get cold. My sweet daughter, Kimmy, gave me her mittens to put over my gloves. The games were back to back on the same field so we could just stay in the same place. The first game was 3-0 and the second was a tie of 1-1.
After the game, we took a picture, then Kimmy, Jared, Eli, Bill and I went to Olive Garden. Eli walked there. Adam only had his cleats, so didn’t want to wear them to the restaurant, so he just went home. He was super tired after playing two games and he fell so I’m praying he didn’t hurt his leg. He got up and finished the game so that was a good sign, but I am sure he need to rest it. I sure love those boys and don’t want anything happening to them.
We went to the Olive Garden and ordered our food and drinks. Eli got there right after the salad, soup and breadsticks came out. They had a new section on the menu called Lighter Portions. Kimmy and I got fettuccini Alfredo off from that list plus she got endless salad and breadsticks and I got endless soup and breadsticks. Everyone else got angel hair spaghetti and meat sauce plus salad, and breadsticks. We were all really full and Kimmy, Eli and I took food home. Kimmy took the salad too and both kinds of dressing. Jared really didn’t want the Italian, but she packed it up. He was ready for a nap he said. Kimmy had other plans of getting pottery done because they are selling so much. Well when we went outside and I hugged her goodbye, the two dressing containers flew out of her hand and landed on the ground. I was so happy the ranch that she wanted, stayed closed. The other one went out of the container and on the cement. Guess she should have listened to Jared lol.
Bill and I are going to watch a movie. It will probably take me a while to find a good one. I am very picky about movies I watch.
