Nice seeing this cutie today.  Had fun asking her questions in a book Vikki got them and she knew almost all of the answers.  She's a smarty.

Loved seeing little handsome boy today too.  He came and started answering questions from the book right too!

Kenzie driving her first car the first time!  Such a fun memory.  So excited for her.
Got to sleep in this morning which seemed really nice.  Went to Michael's and Hobby Lobby to pick up some charms and things I needed to make charm hangers for the rear view mirror.  Came home and got to see Kenzie seeing her car for the first time and driving it.  So exciting for her.  Worked on making the charm hangers til it was time to go to our Faith Rider's Meeting.  It was a great meeting.  28 people there and Bill did an amazing job leading the meeting.  Thanks, Kimmy, for updating my blog page.  I love the pictures of the kids you put on for me.  What would I do without you!  Here's a picture of the charm hangers I made.  I gave Vikki the first one I made and I gave one to Kenzie for her new car.

Cute car Kenzie's Papa Ed found for her.  Vikki and Bill went to look at it and loved it.  It's a great deal.  The car is in great shape, been well taken care of, not super high mileage and great price.  Happy for Kenzie and thanking the Lord for answered prayer again.
Got up this morning and walked for 3 miles at Sports Zone.  Came home and went through my pictures and deleted some that were blurry.  Did my lesson for Kid's Care Group.  Picked Kenzie up at school and came home and worked on some of her pics to put in a frame.  Fixed some food and made Kenzie cocoa, then left for church.  It was fun night for the youth group.  Had fun with my kiddos.  We learned about the resurrection.  The kids were excited.  Went to take Kenzie home after class.   Carol and Ed were there.  I asked Kenzie whose car was in the driveway and she said mine.  My mom texted me.  Well surprise it wasn't ha ha.  Good thing I told her she had to get her mom before she looked at it.  They would have wondered why we were trying to get in their car.  Praying blessings and safety upon Kenzie in her new car.  Very happy for her.

April 7, 2015

Forgot to take any pics today, so here's one of Mocha I just took.

Went to our weekly breakfast this morning and had good food, fellowship and prayer.  Think this breakfast gathering has been going about 13 years now.  After breakfast we came home and read our Bibles.  Then I tried to listen to Bible Is and have what I read, read to me.  Next thing I know I was sleeping.  Bill had fallen asleep on the couch too.  For some reason, maybe weather, we were both really tired today.  We did our lesson for Bible Study and got things ready.  We had a wonderful care group with lots of good input.  So blessed to have such caring people who love the Lord be apart of our lives.  Our hearts were touched by the Lord tonight.

Nana's boy for this pic!

Nana's girl always!
Went to walk at Sports Zone this morning at 7:45.  I was listening to my worship music while walking and I felt a tap on my shoulder.  An older man was next to me and said something so I took my earbuds out so I could hear him.  He put his arm around me and said "He has Risen"! I said He has risen indeed.  So cool.  I wear a shirt that says, free to worship Him on the back of it, so that must be why he did that.  After a few more laps, I saw Dave, my mom and dad's neighbor.  he was telling me about his heart problems during the winter and his neighbor that lets his dog go potty in his yard.  We talked about Jesus, then I asked if it would be ok if I prayed for him.  He said sure so I prayed while we were walking.  After I got home and ate breakfast, I went to Melissa's to get my shampooer and picked up clothes that had stains.  I am going to try to get them out for her.  Bill and I went for a nice ride since it was so nice out.  Vikki, the kids, and Bryce came over for leftovers when she was done babysitting.  Bill had to leave to go to an Elder's meeting   The kids and I had fun.  Bryce and Kenzie played sorry and Vik and I watched Cinderedla with Pey Pey. Melissa called at around 10:10 pm to let me know they were at their place in Tenessee.  I was very happy to hear from her.  Thanks Vikki, for taking these pictures.  I forgot and wouldn't have had any for my blog.

Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015

The grandkids loved picking out shells to have.  I picked them up on my morning beach walks in Florida.

Isaac, Kenzie, and Peyton

Eli

Papa reading the Easter Story.  It was Max's idea to do this, so we started this year.  It will be a tradition just like we do at Christmas.  Thankful for grandkids who love the Lord.

Silly Uncle Bruce, Kenzie and Evan.

Evan hunting for eggs.

Jack has his bucket full.

Max and Hailey collecting eggs.

Thought this was cute of Pey Pey and Isaac by the eggs on the stairs.

The yearly tradition of the grandchildren's line up to go on the Easter egg hunt.

Listening to Papa read the Easter Story.

Jack and Eli were good listeners.

Adam, Jacob and Elil

Kenzie wanted in on the Russell Photo since she's part of that family too.

Yummy Chicken Stir Fry I had at Lou's Restaurant

Bill and I met Jim and Denise for lunch.
Bill and I went to Attica to have our motorcycle seat recovered.  We were pretty close to where our cousins Jim and Denise live, so we called them to see if they could meet for lunch.  They met us at a wonderful restaurant that had delicious food.  When we left, they had us come to their car and gave us delicious chocolate covered peanuts that Jim made.  We ate one right away of course.  Yum!  We went to our Good Friday Service at church tonight.  Pastor had 7 crosses set up and we each had a book that we read the reading for each cross out of.  Stacie was at the crosses with us.  We were so happy she was there.  It was such a meaningful service to get us focused on all Jesus went through and how His arms were wide open with so much love for us and everyone in the world.  Bill and I prayed for people who wanted prayer afterwards.  God moved in so many hearts including ours.  THANK YOU JESUS FOR WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH AND FOR TAKING OUR SINS AND BEARING THEM IN YOUR BODY ON THE CROSS.  IT IS FINISHED.

Allison sure had fun with all of the animals on Kimmy and Jared's farm.

She was so happy to be able to feed a lamb it's bottle.

Eli was so cute and was so friendly and sweet.

Beautiful sight!

Gathering eggs!

Love this picture of all the sheep with their lambs.

Jacob with the big ram in the background!

The shepherd gathering his flock!

This goat was beautiful.

This pair love each other.  They were so cute together.
Jacob caught one!

It was so nice out, Adam was in shorts and riding his bike.

My cute and sweet Adam!

Love this picture of Allison!

Sweetie Eli!  Who is that peeking in the window?

One of my favorites of my precious Jacob!  He was showing me how sturdy the perch was. He put the chick down next to him.
I picked Allison (a sweet girl I have know since she was a baby who comes to our Faith Rider's.)  up at 10:30 to head to Kimmy's.  It was sprinkling but quit right away.  We got to Kimmy's and got a nice greeting from the boys.  Kimmy had a bottle ready so we went out so Allison could feed the lamb.  We stopped in the chicken coop first and she held a few chicks.  Then she fed the lamb.  Next we went in the barn and looked at all of the other sheep and lambs.  She held a few lambs.  She also gathered some eggs that the chickens had laid.  We went in the house and visited for a while and then had lunch.  We had a nice surprise that Jared had work off.  He was out having fun on his new scooter, but got home to have lunch with us.  We all went back outside to see the animals again and walked back by the sand pit.  We had so much fun.  Thank you Kimmy and Jared.  Allison thanked me many times on the way home.  She was so happy.  We went to our Maundy Thursday Service at church.  It was the best service I have ever been to.  We each took a person not from our family and went up to communion together.  Then they would pray for each other if they wanted to.  God's love was so present and the love of our family of God at New Life was so amazing.    The message was on Jesus's command to love one another.  It was also on serving one another as He had done when washing the feet of His disciples.  We washed one another's hands.  The "King" was among us!  Thank you Jesus!
