1/7/16 Kimmy, Vikki, Isaac and Peyton came over.

They loved the foam blocks.  Haven't played with them since they were little and we had to put them away because they were biting on them.  They did great with them now.

Kimmy was a real blessing today as she helped Vikki and I with our knitting.  If she wasn't ripping mine out for me she was ripping Vikki's out and then teaching us what to do and doing some for us. Thank you kind Kimmy!

1/6/16 Got a lot done today and had fun at Kids Care Group at church

My kids in my class had fun tie dying socks tonight.  Next week they will all wear them!

Got the upstairs bedroom cleaned today.  All the Christmas wrapping paper, etc. organized and put away.  Got the cubby hole over the kitchen desk cleaned out too.  Drove dad's truck to my class at church. The kids were really good tonight and had lots of fun.  We learned about prayer.  My kids are great at praying for each other.

1/5/16 Care group started back up tonight

Went to breakfast, then Kroger's to pick up a few things, then The Christian Book Store to pick up my pre ordered DVD War Room.  They gave me a journal free with it.  Came home and got things ready for care group.  Bill did a great job leading it.  Ron brought fresh fruits and cookies. Yum

1/4/16 Peyton and Isaac were here. My new knives came

Isaac and Peyton brought all of these stuffed animals down with them from upstairs when they woke up.

A Christmas present from Bill came today!  YAY my new knife set. So Happy to have nice knives that are sharp.

Peyton and Isaac slept the whole night and Isaac didn't cough much at all.  Went up to get them out of bed at 8:30 when I heard Peyton talking.  They were excited to bring lot of stuffed animals down with them.  Papa and I at breakfast with them and then they wanted to play.  Vikki came and visited a little before leaving.  Bill and I moved the furniture in the living room so it's set for care group tomorrow night.  My new knife set from Bill came today.  Such a nice set. Bill had an elder meeting to go to.  Kenzie and Cole came over and Kenzie cut Mocha's hair.  She did a good job with what she got done.  She couldn't do her face very good because Mocha wasn't being nice.  She wants me to have Kimmy do her face.  Visited for a while.

1/3/16 Peyton and Isaac are spending the night

Went to church.  After church Merijo and Greg stopped over so Greg could look at Bill's tail gate from his old truck.   Vikki got here with Peyton and Isaac.  We warmed up the roast, carrots and potatoes and all of us ate.  Talked Greg and Merijo into staying to eat with us.  We had a nice visit. They left and Vikki and I worked on our knitting.  Vikki is making a beautiful blanket with really soft yarn. Peyton and Isaac were really good and played with all the toys.  Bill picked up ice cream and we had banana splits.  (Vikki didn't want any though)  Then popped popcorn.  Vikki went with Bill to take my car in to Garbers and drop it off.  She rode in his new truck on the way home. 

The kids and I watched Cinderella, read the pop up Bible and Henny book, then I tucked them in bed and prayed with them.   

1/1/16 New Year's Day

Got up at 6:30 and added water to the roll mix I put in bread maker last night and went back to bed till 8:30.   When I got up then, I made brownies and baked an apple pie I had frozen from the Rescue Mission.  Then I made the rolls.  While they were baking, I peeled the potatoes and carrots.  Then put the roast in the oven.  Set the table with the good china and then relaxed.  Melissa, Bruce and family came at 5:30.  Melissa and I got things on the table and then we prayed and ate.  After we cleaned things up and then had dessert.  Max absolutely loved putting puzzles together and the boys liked playing with the lego sets. Hailey loaded her I tunes card and put music on her I pad.  Everyone enjoyed playing their games on their phones, electronics, etc.  Melissa, Hailey and I watched  Anne of Green Gables.  Then the kids cleaned up the toys and left.  Bill and I watched a movie.

12/31/15 HAPPY NEW YEAR....BROUGHT IN THE NEW YEAR AT WES AND GAYLA'S

Went to Penneys, G's and Kohls.  Got a G's gift card and a coin jar that keeps a count at Kohl's for Joel for Christmas.  The coin jar was half off so happy about that.  Kenzie stopped while I was gone and gave Mocha a bath for me.  I was a happy camper when I got home and saw that.  Bill and I went to Riverside to meet Wes, Gayla, Chuck and Sue for dinner at 5.  We went to Wes and Gayla's house afterwards and played dominoes and had banana splits and other delicious treats.  Brought in the New Year and saw the ball drop and fireworks at Swan Valley.  Called the girls and their families to wish them Happy New Year.  Yearly tradition!
