Max was pretty happy when I picked him up and took him to Sue's to hear the frogs and look for them.  He didn't want to sit on a chair because he though this stump was lots more comfortable.
Sue had a nice fire going when we got there

Sue and Max looking for frogs and tadpoles.

He saw lots of tadpoles when he used her flashlight

Of course he found a frog.  He has always been the best frog finder and still is
He was happy when Sue gave hum these logs with lots of holes from the woodpeckers.  He sure knows a lot about nature.  Sue and I enjoyed listening to him.

I went to hear Hailey sing and help lead worship at Bethlehem.  It was nice hearing Ally give her validictorian speech. All the eight graders gave a testimony of what God's done in their life.  After the service, I went to our church.  I was a half hour late, but made it in time for a couple of worship songs and the message.  After the service, we left for Frankenmuth.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for donuts and coffee.  We took the back way into town and parked where we always do.  Debbie had all the places saved for us like she does every year.  We watched the parade. Peyton held her ears when noisy trucks went by.  She's just like Hailey used to be.  After the parade, we went to Debbie's.  The kids swam and had lots of fun.  It was pretty cloudy and in the 70's.  Nice cool day.  We ate lunch.  The food was delicious.  After dinner the kids swam some more.  The sun came out and it ws beautiful.  We left at 6:30.  What a great day with family.  At about 9:15 p.m. Sue called me and wanted me to bring Max to her house because she could hear lots of frogs and had a fire going.  He was pretty happy when I called and wanted to go.  He was waiting on the porch when I picked him up.  We went to Sue's and he walked around the pond.  I was happy when she went in and got him a flashlight as it was hard to see him with his dark clothes.  The pond isn't real big and they filled it in so it's only 4 feet deep.  Still made me service when I couldn't see him real good.  He was so happy when he found a frog and saw tons of tadpoles.  He was happy Sue gave him the pieces of wood with the holes from the woodpeckers.  I took him home after that.  What a fun time with my sweet grandson.

6/9/18...Cleaned some of the house, Bill volunteered to collect money at Walmart for Marine Corp. League, washed sheets, checked out the garden, made lots of potato salad for tomorrow.

Four nice sized baby robins in this nest.  They look like they will be leaving the nest soon

Cute pictures of Hailey and her class volunteering at the Soup Kitchen.  They got lots of compliments on what hard workers they were. Love that her school does things like this.

Bill got up early to go volunteer at Walmart to Collect money for the Marine Corp. League.  Dennis Watkins was volunteering at the second door.  I cleaned the house and got eggs and potatoes cooking for potato salad.  Bill called me to say if I came there, to please bring him a sandwich.  He was there till 11 and then had to be back by 1 p.m.  I took him an egg salad sandwich and a water.  He was very happy. He came home for a little while and then had to go back.  I made the potato salad for Debbie's tomorrow.  Talked to Melissa lots.  Love how she see's all that God has done for her even in the midst of what she is going through.  Talked to Vikki a couple of times.  Showed her a video of my birds.

I made oriole food and filled the feeders.  I also filled the hummingbird feeders.  Gayla gave me a little one to stick in the window.  Hope I get hummingbirds at that one.  I hung the bird house that Kenzie made me.  I also put out the stepping stone she made me.  Bill and I went to Fergusons to look at bathroom stuff.  It was a very nice store.  We have lots of estimates from stores now.  We prayed to make wise decisions.  Kimmy called me while I was in there, and wanted to know if we could go up to Standish.  Adam came up with the idea and he really wanted me to go.  I called Melissa and asked her if I could take the kids up there.  She said yes, so I called Kimmy back.  We got up to Outdoor Adventures right about at the same time.  We went swimming in the outdoor pool right away  The water was warm and it was a beautiful day out.  Someone threw up in the pool so we stayed out while they got it cleaned.  We walked around the campground and then went to the store. I was very happy when Melissa called to let me know how her appointment with the Neurologist in Owosso went.  She liked the doctor and was very happy with what she is going to do to help her.  I am thanking God! There were lots of campers up there, but it wasn't packed.  We went on the paddleboat and kayaks and then went to the beach until the pizzas I ordered were done.  We went in the pavilion and ate out pizzas.  I ordered 3 so we had left overs for each family to take home.  We brought our own pop.  We went swimming again after that and went in the hot tub.  We all changed and then took another short walk around the campground.  It was 8:45 p.m so we left for home. I was happy to hear everyone was home safe and sound.  I took Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan to their house.  Melissa and Bruce had a bonfire going.  I stayed for a few minutes and then came home.

6/7/18...Went to Chapel to see Hailey receive her award for Outstanding Overall Student. She was given a computer for it too. Got bagels with her coupon when we got back to their house. Went lookin for what we need for remodeling our bathroom after that.

Hailey getting her Kids Care Award on her last day of 8th grade.  She was also given a chrome book.  The award is for her contribution to community through excellent academics and outstanding citizenship. So proud of this girl!
