Max was pretty happy when I picked him up and took him to Sue's to hear the frogs and look for them.  He didn't want to sit on a chair because he though this stump was lots more comfortable.
Sue had a nice fire going when we got there

Sue and Max looking for frogs and tadpoles.

He saw lots of tadpoles when he used her flashlight

Of course he found a frog.  He has always been the best frog finder and still is
He was happy when Sue gave hum these logs with lots of holes from the woodpeckers.  He sure knows a lot about nature.  Sue and I enjoyed listening to him.

I went to hear Hailey sing and help lead worship at Bethlehem.  It was nice hearing Ally give her validictorian speech. All the eight graders gave a testimony of what God's done in their life.  After the service, I went to our church.  I was a half hour late, but made it in time for a couple of worship songs and the message.  After the service, we left for Frankenmuth.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for donuts and coffee.  We took the back way into town and parked where we always do.  Debbie had all the places saved for us like she does every year.  We watched the parade. Peyton held her ears when noisy trucks went by.  She's just like Hailey used to be.  After the parade, we went to Debbie's.  The kids swam and had lots of fun.  It was pretty cloudy and in the 70's.  Nice cool day.  We ate lunch.  The food was delicious.  After dinner the kids swam some more.  The sun came out and it ws beautiful.  We left at 6:30.  What a great day with family.  At about 9:15 p.m. Sue called me and wanted me to bring Max to her house because she could hear lots of frogs and had a fire going.  He was pretty happy when I called and wanted to go.  He was waiting on the porch when I picked him up.  We went to Sue's and he walked around the pond.  I was happy when she went in and got him a flashlight as it was hard to see him with his dark clothes.  The pond isn't real big and they filled it in so it's only 4 feet deep.  Still made me service when I couldn't see him real good.  He was so happy when he found a frog and saw tons of tadpoles.  He was happy Sue gave him the pieces of wood with the holes from the woodpeckers.  I took him home after that.  What a fun time with my sweet grandson.
