2/7/19...Stayed home and in the house all day. Everything outside was very icy. Had officer's meeting in the evening.

Everything was a glare of ice this morning.

Bill and I slept in until 8 this morning.  He went to meet Rich Dudek for breakfast at 9.  All the grandkids didn't have school again today.  I've never seen so many snow and ice days like this.
Bill is the volunteer Chaplain for the VA now.  Love how he always serves the Lord.
I got one of the utility room cabinets cleaned today.  Read a book and also watched Elevation Worship on the TV.  Such amazing worship of our Lord and Savior.  The Holy Spirit sure moved in my heart while worshipping.
In the evening, we had our officer's meeting for Faith Riders.  Bill had put salt down on our icy driveway and then took the shovel and scraped it off the best he could so no one would fall.  We had 10 of us here.  I made cookies, Don brought cookies and Vicki brought cupcakes.  Needless to say we had enough desserts.  Bill was pretty happy to keep the extra cupcakes here.  Our meeting went so good.  We have new officers and everyone is willing to do their part and help out where needed.  Can't wait to see what God is going to do this riding season.  When it was time for everyone to leave, the wind had really picked up.  Noisy even in the house.  I closed all the insulated shades and that helped.  It's supposed to be windy all day tomorrow.  We are under a wind advisory.  Praying the power stays on and for God's protection of property.

2/6/19...Woke up to ice all over, No school for any of the grandkids, Vikki and the kids came over

It was pretty icy outside when I woke up this morning.

Started decorating bags for my friend Vikki to donate to a school for lunches for kids
Isaac and Peyton were good helpers

Bill went to the SportsZone to walk today, but I stayed home because I didn't want to go on the icy roads.  After my time with the Lord, I started decorating bags for meals for kids.  I talked to Vikki and she asked me if I wanted her to come help.  I told her to come the main roads, because they were good by that time.  We ate lunch and had the snacks from the other day that we didn't get to eat because we were too full.  She hadn't seen the State of the Union Address, so we watched it.  She loved it too.  We worked on decorating bags after that.  Peyton and Isaac drawing pictures on the bags and coloring them.  Bill and I watched a movie in the evening.  I read some on my book.

Cousins having fun
Matthew and me

Went to breakfast at Sullivans.  Not many there this morning, but we had a good time, good food  and joined in prayer together.  Bruce took the day off so he took Melissa to therapy.  Matthew had therapy at the same time so afterward we all met at Buffalo Wild Wings.  It was nice finally getting together for lunch.  Melissa and Matthew have been trying to set this up since November.  So nice that Bill, Bruce an Tom could come too.  Melissa showed me a video of her walking without hanging on to anything.  I am so happy for her.  She has worked so hard for this.  Now her next therapy goal is to walk on her own.  Bill and I took a little cat nap on our love seat recliner.  We got ready for care group.  Such a great lesson on the beatitudes of Jesus.  Bill did an amazing job leading our group and there was really good discussion.  Watched the President's State of the Union Address.  Loved it!  Love America!

1/4/19....Kimmy and the boys came over, Went to the dentist, Vikki had car trouble

Jacob, Bill, Kimmy, Adam and I played 3-13. We had fun and here is our score sheet.  Jacob was the big winner.
I heard a noise behind the chair and thought it was the fireplace.  Didn't see anything, so then though it was Wyatt behind the chair.  I looked and fours Eli in the corner behind the chair.  He sure is a cutie.

Me and Eli playing 3-13.  Kimmy was playing too and took the picture.  I was amazed how great Eli plays and what a good scorekeeper he is.  He won endless to say!

Look at this scoresheet.  Way to go Eli!

Bill and I walked at Sportszone.  Came home and ate breakfast.  I left and went to Walmart to get a few things.  Came home and Kimmy and the boys got here right afterward.  We played a game of 3-13.  So much fun playing this game.   We had our dessert first today. We ate the banana pudding cake that was left over from yesterday. Bill and Adam went to pick up a flag from the American Legion Hall.    We ate Sloppy Jo's and cheesy potatos for lunch. Adam and Bill ate when they got home.  I went to the dentist.  I got home and Bill's truck was gone.  Kimmy told me Vikki's car wouldn't start so Bill and Jacob went to help her.  They got it running and took it to the Toyota dealer.  It was the small battery.  They were able to fix it.  Kimmy, Eli and I played a game of 3-13.  I was amazed at how good Eli is at playing it and what a great score keeper he is.  He sure beat us.  He was pretty happy about that.  Bill and Jacob got home and Kimmy and the boys went home.  Bill and I at dinner and then watched a movie and did our care group lesson for tomorrow night.

2/3/19...Super Bowl Sunday Party

Old Picture of Melissa, Jessica, Vikki, Kim Gager and Hannah, Melissa and Joshua dressed in their costumes for a parade they were in

Had fun playing 3-13 with Melissa, Adam, and Kimmy

Our score sheet from our game.  Melissa was ahead of me, she threw an A which was wild, but  Kimmy felt sorry for her so made me feel sorry for her too.  I gave it back to her.  The round after that Adam went out and stuck Melissa with 14 points and me with 0.  Melissa and I tied!  She did get an asterisk from Kimmy though.

Jack, Eli, Isaac, Peyton, Max and Adam

The kiddos on their tablets

Jared and Bruce make the Super Bowl look a little boring

Went to church early to get my Sunday School Class ready.   Worship was amazing and the Holy Spirit moved in an amazing way.  Communion service was so nice.  We had a fun lesson on serving others in Sunday School.  Came home and changed.  Vikki and Peyton came and helped make all the snacks for the Super Bowl while I made the cheesy potatoes and banana pudding cake.   Vikki also made a small container of scalloped potatoes for Bill since he doesn't like cheese. That made him pretty happy.  We had sloppy Joes too, and lots of snacks.  We were all so full that we never put the snacks (ham rollups, Hickory Stick and cheese, veggie tray) we made to have during the Super Bowl out.  The guys watched the Super Bowl, the kids played and watched a movie.  Adam, Melissa, Kimmy and I played 3-13. The Patriots beat the Rams.  Bill was happy, Jared not so much.  Bruce didn't really care who won, and left before it was over.  Tom Brady and his coach won their 6th Super Bowl which is pretty amazing.  Sure had a blessed day with family.

We were at Applebee's a couple of hours and had such a good time visiting.  Came home and Bill watched a movie and I cooked stuff for tomorrow and baked desserts too.

2/1/19....Walked at SportsZone, Got groceries, Kimmy and the boys came over, Went to George and Linda's

Me walking at the SportsZone.  Bill took my picture so I could tag Pastor Ken for our church Swag contest.  The guy in the turquoise behind us, caught up to us and told us he was in the picture.  Bill told him he wanted walkers in the picture.  The guy ended up walking with us a few laps.  We found out he was the principal of Carrolton Elementary.  I asked him if he knew Rody and he did.  He told us how great Rody was doing and what a good worker he was.  He also said he had the right personality for the job.  Bill asked him if he knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior and he said yes.  He goes to Hopevale Church.

This squirrel wouldn't give up trying to get food out of my squirrel proof feeder. He would hang by one foot and eat.  If he puts his weight on it, it will close off.  He sure spent a lot of time trying.  He got some, but it was slow going.  I am going to hand it out farther on the limb and lower it so he can't hang on to the branch.  I'm on a mission!

AdamSomeone got my camera and took some silly selfies!  Love this cute boy!

Bill and I walked 2 miles at SportsZone.  We came home and had oatmeal and toast and then I left to go grocery shopping for the Super Bowl.  I got home and Kimmy and the boys got there right after I carried the groceries in.  They helped me put the groceries away and were such great helpers.  Made the job easy.  Kimmy is always a wonderful help, and she sure has trained her boys to do the same.  What blessings they are.  Thank you Kimmy, Jacob, Adam, and Eli.  I love and appreciate all of you!
The boys played Mario Kart while Kimmy and I visited and I showed her my new blow dryer.  Jacob, Kimmy, Bill and I played 3-13.  Kimmy beat me by 1 point and was the winner.  Bill and Jacob had lots of points so the girls won!  We took a break for a while and Kimmy tried to get a pop up off from my computer.  We played 3-13 again.  Kimmy won again.  I came in second, then Jacob and Bill.  Bill was up there in points pretty high again.  Adam took the score sheet before Papa could rip it up.  Bill tried to get it from him, but Adam passed it to Kimmy.  We sure had fun....well I don'k know about Bill ha ha.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac over for me to watch while she helped Misty surprise her mom and clean the house she just bought.  Vikki won an Air Cooker today and Rody won a phone.  Guess it was their day.  Rody picked the kids up.  Kimmy and the boys left after that so they would get home before dark.  Bill and I ate Vegetable Soup.  I cleaned the kernel burner out and vacuumed it really good.  We went to George and Linda's so Bill could get some Marine Corp. League stuff from him.  We had a nice visit and had peach pie and ice cream.  Came home and started the kernel burner and watched the news.
