Friday, 2/7/2020, Took Melissa to therapy, made roundsteak in crockpot, Went to Culvers and then walked around Art Van

It was beautiful this morning with the fresh white snow

Evan's class went to the planetarium today...He is 3rd from the left in back

Evan 2nd from right working on his project
Bruce helping in the background
Abby so cute all snuggled in the pillows on the couch

Didn't sleep good last night.  Got up and got ready to take Melissa to therapy. She sure is doing good walking now.  I came home and got round steak in the crockpot for dinner tonight.  I listened to Dr. Dobson's Friday morning prayer, and prayed along with thousands of people.  I picked Melissa up and got her a Grand Turkey Club.  She is such a sweetie and so beautiful inside and out.
Praying for my Kimmy's arm and all my sweeties at her house to feel better.  After we ate, Bill took a nap and then we went to Culver's for concrete mixers. We went and walked around Art Van and got some steps.  Came home and watched the Democratic Debate.  It was all I could do to sit through it.  They are a bunch of baby killers who want to give women the right to kill their babies.  How about Abstinance, Birth Control, the morning after pill, not kill a baby.  They even want to kill late term abortions.  We Christians need to pray this evil is stopped.  I am praying like never before!

Thursday, 2/6/2020, Walked, Watched President Trump at National Prayer Breakfast, and at the Capital Building afterward

Such a great picture!  Trump Acquitted!

I walked 2 miles, then made oatmeal for Bill and I.  After we ate, we watched the National Prayer Breakfast.  So thankful for people in our nation that know the importance of prayer.  President Trump spoke at it and did great.  He also did a wonderful job later at the Capital, thanking all the many warriors who helped him fight against the awful Democrats who have been against him from the beginning and doing everything to get rid of him.   He has done amazing things already and has a great team of amazing leaders he surrounds himself with.  Praying he cleans up his language, but I am very thankful for his godly stand and the changes he is making for the good of our Country.
In the evening, we went to Faith Riders Officer's Meeting.  Had a good discussion and Vicki brought a yummy banana pudding dessert.

Wed., 2/5/2020....President Trump was acquitted today Praise God! Took Melissa to therapy, Went to Old Town Drive In, Picked Hailey up and took her to Taco Bell

Hailey with her birthday present I had ordered.  It came in today.  16th Growing Up Girls Birthday Girl.  Her last one, unless she wants the one they have when she gets married.

I love this sign Vikki has hanging in her house for her kids to learn the Word of God!  It was cute and precious when she erased the fruit of the Spirit and they were sad because they wanted it on there.

I took Melissa to therapy, stopped at the bank, and then came home and worked around the house.  I went to Hallmark and picked up Hailey's last birthday girl collectible.  They called yesterday and told me it was in.  I picked Melissa up, and we went and got to go orders at Old Town Drive in, and went to Melissa's to eat lunch together.  It was yummy.  I left right afterward and told Melissa to rest before the kids get home.  3 hours of therapy really tire her out.  She works so hard.  I went to pick Hailey up from school at 4.  I gave her her belated birthday gift, and then we went to Taco Bell.  She got her usual.  I got quesadeas (sp).  Only one person was there when we came in, but after we ordered, the place was packed with people.  We sure were happy we beat the rush.  We had a nice talk while we were eating.  I took her home and while we were driving, Vikki called to say President Trump was acquitted.  We were both so happy!  I sure am thanking the Lord!

Tues., 2/4/2020...Went to breakfast at Sullivans, Picked up Peyton and Isaac, Had Small Group, Watched the State of the Union Address

Peyton with her McFlurry

Isaac with his McFlurry

We went to Sullivans for our breakfast.  We had a nice devotion, good fellowship, great food and lots of good prayer.  Came home and got the house cleaned.  Vikki wasn't feeling good, so I told her I would pick up Peyton and Isaac.  I haven't picked them up since they've been in second grade, so I was waiting at the wrong door. A nice teacher, who said I looked familiar, came out and told me where I could pick them up.   We decided on our way to their house that it should be McFlurry Day.  They both wanted Reeses Pieces in theirs.  When we left their school, they asked if we could go buy the big house that is being built.  Vikki had told me about how much they loved watching it be built.  Isaac started giving me directions to get there, and then when he didn't know which road to turn on, Peyton would tell me.  They went back and forth and got me right to the house.  It is huge!!!  The joy of twins and how they help one another.  We got their McFlurries.  They were happy and very polite, saying thank you right away.  They were pretty excited to see a big crane working on the McDonald sign.  They both told me three things about their day at school.  Such sweeties!  We had a great small group tonight.  What wonderful friends.  Many great testimonies shared of lives being touched.  We watched the State of the Union Address.  President Trump did an amazing job. We need to Make America Great Again!

Monday, 2/3/2020, Eva had her two boy lambs, Kimmy and Wyatt came to spend the day with the boys, Bill and I

Eva had twin boys today

Eli, Jacob and Adam relaxing at Nana and Papa's the day after the Super Bowl
Jacob, Kimmy and I played Ticket to Ride.  Kimmy did her best ever and won the game!  Her trains are the red one.  She evidently doesn't remember me saying you can't put trains on a different color other than your train color.  Ha Ha...Private joke....you had to be there to get it.
Jacob and Adam measuring who is taller.  It's getting pretty close!
Wyatt....Outside on the front porch
Love my Wyatt!  What a happy dog!

I got up, and shortly after Eli came downstairs.  Adam was next.  They ate breakfast and then Jacob came down.  He wasn't hungry.  We listened to some worship music and then went in and watched old TV shows in the family room.  Watched Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace, and Hazel.
Kimmy posted that Eva had her lambs, so we knew it would take her a while to come.  She came during Hazel.  We finished watching it, ate pizza for lunch, and then played Ticket to Ride.  The boys helped Bill pick up sticks outside, and then he took them to Tim Horton's.  Kimmy and I played Ticket to Ride.  She is trying to give me lots of practice,  because I sure need it.  I don't know if I am ever going to win this game.  Adam and Jacob played Mario and had fun together.  Kimmy and I had fun watching them.  We ate lots of left over snacks from yesterday.  Kimmy and I sat outside on the porch for a while before they had to leave.  So nice out....sunny and in the 40's.
They left, after making sure everything was clean, which is what they always do.  Such a fun relaxing day.

Sunday, 2/2/2020, Super Bowl Sunday, Went to church, taught Sunday School, All the girls and families came over to eat and then watch the game

Congratulations to Max (far left) and his team for winning 3rd place in the tournaments.   Great job!

Went to church, prayed for service in prayer room with prayer team, wonderful worship, beautiful and meaningful communion service, taught Sunday School during the message.  Everyone came over and we all brought our favorite pizza's.  We ate around 2:30.  The kids all had fun together!  Wonderful grandkids!  We played Ticket to ride a couple of times.  Ate lots of snacks and watched the Super Bowl.  Happy our team (the Chief's) won!  Very exciting 4th quarter!  Disgusting half time show that I didn't watch after the first minute because I could tell it wasn't going to be good.  Kimmy didn't watch it either.  We cleaned up and put food away.  Jacob, Adam and Eli spent the night because they didn't have school the next day.  So fun to have those boys stay with us.  Melissa and Vikki's kids all had school the next day, so they left sooner than Kimmy and Jared.

Sat., 2/1/2020...Met at Vicki and Kevins at 10:30, Went to Levi's for Breakfast, then to Lansing

After I was done dipping strawberries in chocolate this morning,  I made myself this treat
Ziggy and the chaplain he chose to share about being a chaplain

Bill Smith, Sabrina, Cheryl, Elaine, me, Bill, Vicki and Kevin
After Kevin shared about being a Road Captain, Bill and Kevin answered questions people had

Adam texted me.  He wanted to see if they could spend the night tonight so Max could spend the night too.  Love that these cousins are so close.  I told him I would love it if he could work it out since I was going to be gone until 7.  We went to Kevin and Vicki's house at 10:30 as they were driving us to Lansing for our CMA Leadership Conference.  We stopped at Levi's and had breakfast together.  Got to the church in Lansing at 1:30.  128 people there!  Great turnout.  They asked Bill and I to go up front and lead the pledges and read the CMA mottos.  We listened to people share about each officer job in the Local chapter.  It was very interesting.  Bill had asked Kevin to speak on being a road captain and Kevin did an amazing job. Bill helped answer questions afterward.  Kimmy called and we decided it would be too much to try to have the boys spend the night tonight where it was so late and it looked like it could get foggy.  Found out Max has a basketball tournament tomorrow from Melissa too.  We got home around 7.  Isaac's team won their game today too.  Can't wait to go see him play next Sat.  Vikki found some nice lounge chairs for on the deck on Facebook.  She met me at Melissa's, and we went to look at them.It was only a couple of minutes from Melissa's house.  They were really nice, so I bought them. I had the truck so the guy helped load them in for us.  Bill helped me unload them when we got home.  I made ham rollups for tomorrow while he brought the table in and emptied all the garbages.
I'm waiting to do the rest tomorrow.  It's been a long day, so I am decided to relax for a while before going to bed.
