Peyton by the fire Vikki and Rody had in their fireplace

Helped in Sunday School this morning.  I have missed all these sweet kids.  They limit the number of kids right now.  Made eggs, bacon and hash browns for brunch.  I watched the service online when I got home.   I went to Melissa's and delivered caramel apples.  Didn't take Hailey one, because she told me last week she doesn't like them.  They ate them while I was there and liked them.  Hailey had a marshmallow treat and I had a no bake cookie Melissa made.  Yum!  I was so happy I could sanitize my hands and pet Abby.  I sure have missed her.  Melissa, Abby, Hailey and I took a walk around the block.  We had a nice visit as we walked.  Evan and Jack caught up with us on their roller blades.  They are really good at roller blading now.  We spent more time talking together when we got back.  They all were so sweet.  I sure was happy to have such a nice long visit on such a nice day outside.  It was just what I needed.  I came home and watched the Elevation kids service on line.  It was really good.  Vikki and the kids came over for wood for their fireplace.  Rody cleaned it out really good.  I am so happy they can have a fire in it.  Melissa called and we talked some more.  Sure do love that girl!

We did our morning routine and then got ready and left for our Color Tour with Faith Riders.  It was in the 60's already when we left.  We met up with everyone and then prayed and started out.  There was some beautiful color when we started out, but it got more beautiful the farther north we went.  We went as far as Grayling and then Kevin, Isaac, Bev Jim, Bill and I came back home.  The other 8 went on to stay overnight at Mackinaw City, and then will drive through the tunnel of trees tomorrow.  When we got home, we moved the air conditioner to the garage.  Rody gave Bill a cart on wheels that it fits on.  So nice, Bill rolled it right to the garage and then we put the air conditioner on the wagon while we moved the cart where we wanted it, then we put the air conditioner on it.  Vikki invited us over for chili.  We went and it was delicious.  We sat on her porch and enjoyed the weather.  It was so nice and relaxing watching her birds and listening to her waterfall.  We came home and watched the Lion King on Disney Plus.

10/9/2020 Kimmy, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over to spend the day

Car, Van, truck and Bike was was open today.  Thank you so much my Billy!

Thank you Vikki for helping with the bikes, and thank you Kimmy for sewing the case to the bike.

I transplanted my lemon tree (front plant) into a new pot today.  It's supposed to get really big.

I divided these cactus plants today.  All three were in the pot on the left.  I don't know how they all fit, but they did.  It was just getting hard to water them, so I knew I had to split them.

I got up and checked my phone early to see if Kimmy had messaged me.  She hadn't.  She had mentioned coming over today for a deck visit.  I got busy doing stuff and when I checked my phone a half hour later, there was a message from Kimmy.  Yay, she was coming over.  I started getting stuff ready to make homemade macaroni and cheese.  I was almost finished making it when Kimmy called and said she was here.  Vikki and the kids got here a little while after Kimmy.  I put the Mac and cheese in the oven to bake.  We visited on the deck and drank our coffee.  We moved the swing into the sunshine.  It was so nice sitting out there.  We ate out on the deck too!  We all liked the Mac and Cheese!  I don't make it for just me because Bill doesn't like it.  I was so happy to have the girls here.  Bill did a carwash for all of us with the power washer.  They all looked so nice when he finished.  Bill and Vikki washed the fold up bikes and his two bikes, (motorized and regular).  Kimmy sewed the case for one of the fold up bikes.  Vikki took pictures and is going to sell them for us.  I put shorts on, I was so hot outside.  Kimmy was wearing shorts.  Vikki was in long pants and muck boots.  She was roasting.  Vikki saw a small snake, so I went and got Peyton and Isaac to come see it.  Then Vikki and I set some mole traps to catch those buggers!  They sure can mess up a yard.  After Kimmy left, Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went to Walgreen's to get our flu shots.  They were nice and safe there.  I didn't even feel it!  She did great with all of us.  A friend of Rody's who works there made sure the kids got suckers afterward.  She was so sweet to them and us.  We went to Menard's after that.  We found some pots to transplant our plants in.  There were only a couple of people in the plant department.  When I got home, I transplanted my plants, and put pet and kid friendly De-con containers in the camper, the shed, and the storage thing I have my cushions in.  Vikki called and the kids both got all of their spelling words right. YAY!  She asked me if I took my bandaid off from my flu shot yet.  I hadn't.  She said she only had a speck of blood, Isaac had a tiny bit more than that, and Peyton had a bigger spot on her bandaid.  They asked me to check mine and I didn't have any on mine.  My arm was sore though and when I mentioned it to Vikki, she said they took Motrin when they got home.  I forgot about that.  I always go with Melissa and she always reminded me to take some when I got home. I missed going with Melissa this year, but was happy when Vikki mentioned it today and she let me follow them and go with them.   I talked to Melissa for a while today.  Bill and I played 3-13.  We went up and down the hill, and he beat me, but not by much.

When I came in the living room in the morning, Isaac said he just got on the couch two minutes ago.  I sat down to read my Bible, and then Peyton came downstairs.  We ate breakfast, they got dressed, brushed their teeth, and I helped each of them make their beds.  Then I rang the bell for school to start. They don't like the bell, so try to beat me and be ready so I don't ring it.  I, of course, always try to be faster than them.  Isaac got all of his spelling words right the first time.  Peyton did much better and didn't have too many to write and practice.  She spelled them all right after I kept practicing with her.  We started a new book for them to read to me today.  Melissa lent it and another one to me.  They liked it and read a couple of chapters each. Then Isaac reminded me they needed to read the Picture Bible.  They both read it and did great. We are almost a third of the way through it now.  We played a game of 3-13 after that.  I have so much fun with them.  Kenzie and Travis stopped over to pick up the kids.  They were looking at a house so came when they were done.  We ate pizza and had a nice visit.  Melissa called me and we had a nice talk.  I talked a while on the from porch and then came in and made a squash from the garden while I talked.
