Eli playing in his first concert. I borrowed these from Kimmy since only two people could go because of Covid.  I sure missed being there!

Got up early to take my shower, read my Bible and devotions, pray, make coffee and take the trash out before the carpet installers came.  They were supposed to be here at 9, but came at 20 after.  Vikki dropped Peyton and Isaac off.  It didn't take them long...2 hours and they were all finished with the carpet.  It looks nicer than I even expected it to look.  So beautiful. I did spelling with the kids, then reading.  We played 8 rounds of 3-13.  Will finish tomorrow.  I put a couple of things back in the room.  I talked to Kimmy, and she and the boys were going to come after school to help move the furniture back in today.  Eli had a concert, so the boys were going to stay with us and help while they went to the concert.  I told her I would take Eli home.  When Vikki got here, we were talking to Kimmy again and since Vikki was still tired and low on energy from her Covid vaccine, she was just going to put the frame of the bed together with me since she was the only one we knew knew for sure how to.  It didn't take long.  Then she wanted to put the box springs on, then the king size mattress.  Then we moved the dresser in, and then we just moved everything back in.  We also carried the two doors out to the shed so Bill could cut them down as they rubbed on the carpet pretty bad.  He used his new saw and cut them quickly and did a great job.  Vikki and I carried them back to the house and upstairs.  They were a little lighter because they had 1/4 inch cut off ha ha.  Bill hung those back on, then Vikki left to go home and do schoolwork with the kids.  It was nice that Kimmy didn't have to make a trip, but I sure was looking forward to seeing them.  I prayed with the intercessory prayer group at church.  They do zoom for those who want to and also in person.  It's pretty nice that we can all join together like that. Kimmy sent me a picture of the new auditorium Eli's concert was in.  It looks amazing.  Eli's was the first concert in it.  Only two could go per student.  Can't wait until we can go again.  I am waiting for a video from Kimmy.  I talked to her before I went to bed and she said he did great!

Closet reorganized after Bill made it so I could put my shampooer and vacuum in it
Bill and I on our two mile walk down our road...so nice out

Did our regular routine, then Bill went to therapy.  I started reorganizing the closet upstairs, and then thought about how nice it would be to be able to put the carpet shampooer and vacuum in the closet.  When Bill got home, I told him my idea and he said he could do it right now.  I was thinking sometime on a later date.  I took the stuff that needed to be taken out and he started ripping boards out, so he could adjust the shelf where I needed it.  He also cut the bottom shelf and put legs on it so there would be room for vacuum, etc,   I am going to paint it, but tomorrow they put our carpet down, so didn't want to get a bigger project going.  I put aside what I wanted to donate to Salvation Army that I know the girls wouldn't want.  I also put shelf liner in my bathroom drawers.  Vikki called and was in town, so I invited her over for subs.  She and the kids came.  We ate, then had a fun afternoon together, although Vikki was still tired out from her vaccine.  We visited on the deck, then checked on the kids and Papa to see what they were up to in the shed.  Bill was cutting the shelf and attaching the legs.  Vikki helped hold the board while he screwed the legs on.  Isaac carried it in the house and took it upstairs for us.  Thank you Isaac for cheerfully helping us.  They wanted to play in the ditch, so I let Peyton use my muck boots.  They had lots of fun and helped get some plastic bags out of the ditch for me.  They left, and I worked more on organizing the closet.  Bill and I ate pizza buns for dinner.  I had them in the freezer so it was a nice fast easy meal.  We went for a 2 mile walk down our road after we ate.  Packed up the electric blanket he just got and took it back to Kohl's to return to Amazon.  I had ordered him one like mine, only blue.  The control kept flashing, even when he turned it off. It heated good, but that was pretty annoying.  I checked and they sent him a different one with a different control because they didn't have mine in that color.  We ordered one like mine in the same color (grey).  It comes tomorrow.  There were 3 police cars near the door of Kohl's.  Didn't find out what was going on, but the policeman was coming to the door at the same time as us.  Bill went, then I stopped to let the policeman go first.  He told me to go ahead though so I did.  I thanked him for what he does to keep everyone safe.  We went to Menard's after that and got two door knob sets, one gold and one brushed nickel.  We had to put the brushed nickel on the inside of the bedroom door to match, and had to put the gold on the outside to match.  Bill did a good job putting the handles on when we got home.  I moved what was left in the bedroom out (he helped me move my vanity table), and then vacuumed the room really good.  Carpet installers will be here at 9 in the morning.  Yay!  I can't wait to see the room with the carpet in it.  We had our tangerines for a snack when I came downstairs.  I listened to Brandon Lake worship while working.

Sunday, 3/7/21, Went to church, Went to pray for CMA's National Day of Prayer, Took Kody his birthday gift, Vikki was sick from her covid vaccine

Went to pray with prayer team at church, then to the service.  Awesome worship today!  We came home and ate subs.  Read our Bibles, did our devotions and prayed.  At 1:40 we left to go meet some of our friends from Faith Riders in the parking lot of the church.  Bill rode the motorcycle, but I chose to be warm in the car.  It was 34 degrees and sunny, but not riding weather for me.  We sang the doxology, then Bill Smith prayed for families, marriage, children, our communities, our churches, etc.  Don prayed about Abortion, Human Trafficking, Safety, Controversial Groups in our Nation. I prayed for Israel.  Elaine prayed for the lost, sharing and forwarding the Gospel, Revival.  We walked over to the school next door after that and sang Jesus Loves Me, then prayed around the flagpole. I prayed for schools, colleges, health, Covid, Wes prayed for CMA National/ CMA's State Leadership, Faith Rider's officers, and Bill prayed for the Flint Chapter.  Gayla prayed for Ministries of Open Doors, The Jesus Film and Mission Ventures.  Then we drove to the Township Offices prayed in their parking lot.  We sang The Battle Hymn of the Republic, then Cheryl prayed for our Government and those in authority in our nation.  Bill prayed for our Military.  Elaine closed in prayer.  What an honor to live in a free country and be able to pray.  After we finished praying, we took Kody's birthday present to him.  He opened it outside, then he said he was going in to start playing with it.  We didn't see him after that.  We talked to Stacie for a while, then we left and she went in.  She took a picture of Kody for me and sent it to me.  We came home and Kenzie called me.  I told her that her mom was trying to call me, so I hung up and answered.  Vikki wasn't feeling good at all because of her Covid Vaccine.  She said the Township Schools were closed tomorrow because of a Covid related staff shortage.  So many had called in because they felt like Vikki that they didn't have enough staff to run the schools.  Vikki had been sleeping earlier when I called, and Kenzie told me she had been sleeping all day.  I called Kenzie back and told her and let Melissa know she was sick from her vaccine and to pray.  I took a short nap, then Vikki called me back to say she was feeling better.  I was so happy to hear that.  Bill and I watched a movie and had a tangerine for our snack.  Kenzie made those amazing pendants after watching a You Tube Video on how to do it.  They are so detailed, I can't even imagine, after making one, how to make them look like she does.

Closet door after Jared and Jacob adjusted it and put the knob on.  It is amazing how easy it opens now.

We went to Sandusky to take some stuff to the chapter president.  It was a nice sunny day and the sun was almost blinding us as we went east.  Yikes!  It was a nice drive there and back.  Adam texted me while I was riding and is always so funny and cute.  I got a Spanish lesson from him. Kenzie called me and she was really happy that her Aunt Missy, Uncle Bruce and Evan were going to come for a visit.  Kenzie was going to show them the baby chickens, ducks, Mylee and Katniss through the window.  They were going to pick up a piano bench and it happened to be in Kenzie’s town.  I’m so glad they could stop and visit with her.

Kimmy and family, and Vikki, Peyton, and Isaac all came over.  I was hauling pellets into the family room and right away Adam came and asked me if I needed help.  He carried them for me.  Jared and Jacob hung and adjusted the closet door in the hallway upstairs. It works perfect and I can open it with 1 finger now.  The old one always came off the track.  It’s so nice.   Adam and Jacob also moved the big king size mattress to the green bedroom so the people can lay the carpet in the blue bedroom on Tuesday.  Adam carried all the closet doors I painted and put them in the other room too.   Thank you Jared and Jacob!Jacob, Peyton, Kimmy, Isaac and I played Tonk.  Jacob was the winner, and Kimmy came in second.  The kids were having so much fun rollerblading in the basement.  We all ate subs for lunch.  Eli went downstairs and brought up all the pop for me.  Bill, Jared and Jacob went to look at a table saw.  It was a nice Ryobi saw and Bill talked him down to $80, so he got it.  Jacob drove the truck back to the shed to unload it.  We celebrated Eli’s birthday with cupcakes Kimmy made.  They were Yummy. The kids went back to rollerblading, and Jared, Kimmy, Vikki, and I started playing 3-13. When I asked Eli if he wanted to open his present, he said in a little while because he was having so much fun skating.  Haven’t heard that from a kid before.  He opened his gift finally.  We gave him a couple of lego sets and a mini drone.  We didn’t finish our game because Jacob was driving and they wanted to get home before dark.  Adam took the garbage out for me before he left.  When Jacob left here, he had to back around Vikki’s car and he did great!  He’s not like his dad and doesn’t try to just knock it out of the way ha ha.  Vikki and the kids left right after that.  She found some great deals today when she took Adam to her house to get the kids rollerblades.  Good thing she had Adam to carry them and load them in her car for her.  She always finds great treasures.  What a fun day and a fantastic and helpful family I have!  Thank you all!

I wrote prayers for tomorrow’s CMA National Day of Prayer I will be praying outside the Courthouse, a church and a school.  Went to bed at midnight!
