Made Bill a coffee to go.  He was meeting with Pastor Ken this morning.  I made oatmeal and had my coffee.  Did my reading, did some laundry, and blew the leaves off the deck, off the driveway and some out of the garage.  It was a super windy day and the leaves I blew off, blew back by the neighbor's pond.  It was weird how the wind changed directions.  When Bill got home, we ate left over sloppy joes.  I was going to go to Kimmy's when the boys got out of school, but Vikki called and said they would like to go too.  I was happy they wanted to go. Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over at around 2:15 and ate sloppy Joes, then we all left for Kimmy's to meet Eli's horse, Bo.  Bill went to Kenzie's to help Travis work on his truck.  Jared, Eli, Vikki,  Peyton, me and Isaac all had so much fun riding Bo.  What a great horse.  He's so sweet and so gentle.  We had fun petting him and brushing him too.  He's a big horse, so how nice that Kimmy and Jared have the steps and platform for hay that we could use to get on him.  It was so cool to see Jared have him trot.  Jared was a calm and excellent instructor for us.  We all went inside after we brushed him again and Eli put him in the paddock.  The sheep stayed way back away from him.  They are so funny how they just stood in a group looking at him.  We went in the house to warm up, as the wind was picking up and it was getting cool outside.  Some of us ate caramel apples that I brought for a snack. I was sure happy to have Vikki and the kids at Kimmy's with me.  Such a fun day for all of us.  Bill and Travis didn't get the truck running.

Thurs., 11/11/21, Happy Birthday Kenzie! Happy Veteran's Day Bill!

Happy Birthday Kenzie!  I love you so much!

Happy Veterans Day Bill!  I love you and I'm very proud of you.  Thank you for your service!
Remembering my Dad on Veterans Day.  So thankful he served!
Driving today with my handsome veteran all around to get the free deals for veterans
Bill in the line at Texas Roadhouse for his free meal voucher.  He can get a free meal from now until 5/22/21
Bill walking in Bavarian Inn to get his free chicken dinner

Charlie picked Bill up at 6:45 a.m. to go with their veteran friends from the Sports Zone for breakfast at Bob Evans.  I had oatmeal with raisins, blueberries, bananas and nuts, and had my morning coffee.  We did our morning reading, then we went to Texas Roadhouse to get his meal voucher.  It was all done outside which was nice, and was very organized.  We love their food!  Then we went to pick up pizzas at Little Caesars.  Shared pizzas with Melissa and Vikki.  Went to Frankenmuth and ate at Bavarian Inn where Bill got his free yummy chicken dinner.  I had a hot chicken sandwich.  He can go Monday for a free meal at Logans, can get a free Haircut at Great Clips, and can get a free sub on Monday too.  They sure honor our veterans now.  When the Vietnam soldiers came home from Vietnam, they were treated badly and couldn't even wear their uniforms when getting of the planes.  I am so glad things have changed.  Young men and women laid their lives on the line.  I'm so thankful for all those who have ever served and are serving now.  We came home and relaxed for a little bit, then went to Sullivans for Faith Rider's Chapter meeting.  It was a good meeting and there was a another new member, who Bill had gone through the training with, that was there for the first time.  Five new members in a month is great.  They voted in officers.  Two members are praying about the President position because that has to be filled yet.  Barb got me a nice Guidepost devotional.  Can't wait to start it in 2022.  Talked to Stacie, Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki today.  Texted with Adam.

Me and Bill before he had to leave to go to the Marine Corp. Birthday Party. I am very proud of my marine!

Got up early so I could read my Bible, make sloppy joes, and put frosting on the cupcakes, before leaving to go shopping for Kenzie and Travis's birthday presents and going to my dentist appt.  I was surprised to find out the mall doesn't open until 11 a.m. now.  I tried to figure out what to do until that time and thought about going to Hobby Lobby to look for a makeup stool for Kenzie.  I looked at places online and not many sell them separate.  They were really expensive sold by themselves too.  I went to Hobby Lobby and found one I knew Kenzie would love and it was on sale.  Such a great deal.  Nice to see Christian businesses flourishing with lots of customers and lots of employees.  Blessing from the Lord.  I came home and ate left overs from last night, then went to my dentist appt.  He said it was a really small cavity, so he only numbed it a little and told me to raise my left hand if it hurt.  I didn't feel anything and he was done before I even thought he had it filled so that was wonderful.  Had a nice talk with the dental assistant about Kimmy's horse, her horses and Hemlock which is where she lived and went to school, and were we use to live.  She was so nice.  I came home and wrapped the birthday presents, filled out the cards and got things ready for the party.   Made the kind of potatoes we make on the grill when we go camping too.  Travis and Kenzie got here and we had fun visiting.  Kimmy and family came about an hour later.  We all ate, then Jacob had to go upstairs where it was quiet and work on his homework as he had lots.  Eli was super excited about the horse and couldn't stop smiling.  He's super happy about being taller than me too.  However, I did point out that his horse was taller than him, so I could still call him shorty.  I still haven't found 2 angels he hid, but he won't give me any clues.  We had angel food cake with strawberries, cupcakes and ice cream after Bill left for the Marine Corp. Birthday Party, but we sang to Kenzie and Travis before he left.  We all had fun hanging out together.  Kenzie and Travis had to go to Omi's, Kimmy and Jared had to get the boys to youth group and Eli to spend time with his horse, and I had to go to class at church.  Bill was home when I got home.  We sure had fun!

Got up early and baked an angel food cake and cupcakes for tomorrow's birthday celebration for Kenzie and Travis.  Read my Bible while things were baking.  Did laundry too.  When Bill got home, we went to Kenzie's and delivered the fencing from Omi for her.  I walked around with Kenzie and looked at all of their animals and their plants they've planted this year.  They have really done a lot there.  The animals all have nice coops and pens. I had fun petting the bunnies, a duck and the kittens.  I was pretty amazed at how nice it was compared to the last time I was there.  The siding is on the garage and looks great.  Garage is looking organized.  We couldn't even walk through it hardly when they first moved in because of all the junk left there.  Bill and Travis walked around and talked.  Travis has done work on the roof too.  Jasper got loose and went running across the road.  Kenzie finally got him to come back in the yard and caught him.  Scary!  He had to go in his cage in the house after that.  I can't believe he could break that big outdoor tie out.  They sat in the truck after that and checked everything (massage, sun roof, etc) out.  Kenzie and I walked in the woods and picked up some pine cones for me to put peanut butter in.  We left after that.  Vikki called and had a dentist appt., so I picked up the kids at the dentist and brought them to our house.  We filled the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, had snacks and looked through bags of stuff I used to have in my surprise box for church.  Vikki came and picked them up, but had to leave right away.  Bill and I went to Texas Roadhouse early to beat the crowds and had dinner.  It was super delicious.  I had to bring half of it home because I was too full, so will eat that tomorrow.  Evan FaceTimed me to show me the windmill he made with legos that really runs.  He did a great job and as always it was fun to watch him show me how it worked.  I told Melissa Papa would like to see that, and she told me Hailey was coming over for hot chocolate and wanted to be there when she FaceTimed me so she could talk to me too.  We had fun talking and seeing each other.  Papa loved Evan's windmill too.  He FaceTimed with all of us too.  So much fun with family.

Monday, 11/8/21, Walked on the treadmill, wrapped shoe boxes, cut some plants down, replaced the soil for my Christmas Cactus

Evan came out to see me right away when I got to his house.  He is looking taller and very handsome
My turkey is small enough to fit on the little bicycle on the porch this year.
The leaves are starting to turn...Not as bright as usual, but we shall see what the end result is
I borrowed some pictures from Kimmy.  Eli bought his own camera.  This is such a cute picture of him.
This picture of Eli makes me so happy
Yay! Kimmy, Jared and family are getting this horse.  I am so excited for them (and for all of the rest of us)
Jacob looks very cool and very happy on his new bike
Adam relaxing looking pretty comfy

Bill had to leave at 7 to take Charlie to U of M Hospital to have his other lung drained and his throat stretched.  I am glad Bill is such a good friend.  I walked on the treadmill, then ate oatmeal and had my coffee.  I wrapped the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child in Christmas Wrap, so they are ready for Peyton and Isaac to put the stuff in them.  It wasn't too easy with shoeboxes with lids that have to be able to still open when wrapped, but I managed.  I did my morning reading after that.  I talked to Vikki and was happy to hear she was feeling great.   All the schools in the township were closed today, so that was nice for her and the kids.  I went to Melissa's at 12:45 and she, Evan, Abby and I walked around her subdivision.  Evan showed me how he can do the Limbo, how he can jump really high (he sure can) and how fast he can run (he's very fast).  Abby didn't want to go at first, she can be stubborn.  Evan carried her for a while, then put her down and then she was willing to walk with us.  It was warm and a nice day for walking.  We didn't even need jackets.  We talked for a while when we got back to their house, then they had to get in to get back at school work.  I got some groceries at Aldi's and Jack's.  I picked up an Angel Food cake which is what Kenzie wants for her birthday when she comes over on Wednesday.  I came home and replanted my Christmas Cactus.  The soil on top was getting moldy for some reason.  I also put Jobe Sticks which feed and also kill bugs in my other plants.  We have these little things that look like tiny fruit flies flying around.  Hope this works, as the other things I've tried haven't.  Read my Bible Study book and did the workbook.  Knitting on dishcloths which is nice and relaxing.  Talked to Kimmy, and texted lots with Adam.
