4/6/18...Snowed out last night...got a couple of inches. Went to Kimmy's to spend the day with her and the boys

I got up and was going to walk at SportZone and then go to Kimmy's.  It was such bad weather that I just ended up driving to Kimmy's.  The roads were slick and I passed a couple of cars in the ditch with police helping them.  It got much better when I got to US 10.  I was sure happy to see Kimmy and the boys.  It was fun visiting and getting to see the sheep.  Fun playing card games with Kimmy and the boys too, even though I was the big loser.  Bill went to the Sportszone and out to breakfast with Charlie at Linwood Corners while I was at Kimmy's.  It was miserable driving home from Kimmy's because it was snowing and blowing.  I had to stay right behind another car so I could tell where I was going.  It was worth it to have such a fun day with Kimmy and the boys.  I sure love my family!

4/5/18...I went to the Dentist, Stopped at Melissa's, Came home, Went back to Melissa's, Went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and to Walmart

Did some laundry in the morning. I went to the dentist at 9.  Had a new dental hygienist.  She did a great job and was really gentle.  The dentist said everything looked great.  Thankful for a good report.
I went to Melissa's and took her a Ice Capp and picked up a paper Jack needs Papa to fill out for when he interviews him for a book their class is writing.  It was nice seeing all the kiddos and so happy they are feeling better.  Bruce was doing good too.  Now to get Melissa better.  I took the paper to Bill and he filled it out.  I dropped it back off at Melissa's.  Jack called and interviewed Papa.  He hasn't been able to because they were both sick.  Bruce did call this morning and got Melissa an appt. with my doctor.  She is a physician's assistant, but is good and she is in with 3 great doctors who all have 5 star reviews.  If she needs them, they consult on her patients.  I am happy Melissa doesn't have to go to her old dr. that was my old dr. because she isn't any good.
They couldn't see Melissa until April 30.  Can't take her as a patient until then.  Bruce called and set up an appointment with her old doctor at 1:40.  Told them she was so sick she wouldn't be able to wait long and needed to get right in. They told him she would be the third patient and would get right in.  Well, they went and waited over an hour and Melissa could sit any longer.  The doctor didn't show up and the waiting room was packed.  Bruce made an appt. at Med Express and took her there.  She had a great doctor there who did an X-Ray.  Melissa doesn't have pneumonia, but does have bronchitis.  She listened to Bruce and Melissa and gave her the antibiotic she needed.  Melissa was so happy and so am I. Now she can finally get better quickly.  I am thanking God.  I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and Walmart and got some stuff we need for the camper.

4/4/18... Bill still isn't feeling well. I am praying for Melissa because she sounds terrible with an awful cough. I'm on call to go be with the kids if she needs to go to the ER tonight.

Still don't have all my energy back, but getting more every day.  Typed the newsletter for our Faith Riders and also updated our Christian Motorcycle Association Website page.  Put new pictures on it too.  Peyton and Isaac are playing now and doing better.  Vikki sounded terrible this morning when I talked to her.  Praying for her too.  Bill stayed on the loveseat most of the day.  He went back to bed for a while though.  He did eat oatmeal for breakfast and soup for lunch though.  We watched the movie, "The Ultimate Gift".  It was a great movie.  We ran out of wood pellets, but I am waiting until Bill can go get some.  Melissa called and sounded so bad.  She promised she would go in to ER if she got worse.  I told her I would come stay with the kids if she did.  I was awake lots thinking of her and praying for her and praying for the rest of my family who aren't feeling well.

4/3/18...Jacob and Adam have fevers now. Jared's mom and dad left for home so they won't catch it. Bill slept most of the day

We didn't go to breakfast.  Have lots of people praying.  I got up at 8 and got ready.  Bill slept in.  He got up around 9 and told me thanks for taking the garbage out for him and said he was gong back to bed.  I took him his tamaflu in at 11 and he took it.  Slept most of the day.  In the evening, he came out to the living room and I made him some noodle soup.  He isn't coughing much anymore.  Doesn't
 seem t have a fever today, but didn't want me to take it today.  I went shopping and found some plastic BPA free, dishwasher and microwave safe dishes for the camper.  Also got some command hooks for the camper.  Watched Miracle from Heaven with Bill.  Tear jerker and very good true story.

4/2/18...Vikki, Peyton, Isaac, Hailey, Eli were all diagnosed with the flu. Praying Jared's Parents who are visiting don't get it. At 10 pm, Bill was diagnosed with the flu at Urgent care at the VA hospital.

Bill went to breakfast with Dave Vieney.  I ate oatmeal and then started putting some stuff in the camper.  It was nice outside.  I made chicken noodle soup.  Delivered some to Melissa and family and Vikki and family.  Picked up an ear thermometer.  Hailey, Vikki, Peyton, Isaac, and Eli were all diagnosed with the flu today.  This stuff is crazy the way it is spreading.  Bill came home and was coughing.  We went to the Navel Office and Bill got his green card for veterans.  I couldn't get the wife one until I take my birth certificate down there.  The people at the VA hospital told Bill he just need our marriage license.  We got home and Bill was totally under the blanket head and all.  In the car he blasted the heat. I took his temp and it was almost 102.  He didn't want to go to urgent care though. I went back out to the camper and then came back in the house.  He called my phone and said he would go in.  I called to try to pre register him for Med Express but they weren't taking registrations.  Called the one on Pierce Rd. and they told me to take him to the VA Urgent care.  We went at around 8 and were there until 10.  I ran home and put the slide outs in on the camper because I saw on the weather it was supposed to start snowing a 9 pm.  Went back and bill was diagnosed with the flu.  The dr. was really nice and joked around a lot.  He gave Bill tamale and sent me with lots of face masks.  Told me not to tell the nurse and laughed.  Bill took a dose of tamale and went to bed.  I went to bed too.

4/1/18...Happy Easter! Jesus is risen! He is Alive. Great service and awesome worship at church today. It was packed. Melissa and her family didn't come because they have the flu

We went to church and the worship was awesome and the message was great.  Church was packed and it was so nice to see Marty and Sophie there and Kyle and Ellen.  I was worshipping in the morning before we went and the song Your name is Victory was playing.  I thought how nice it would be if they would play that at our church.  Well that was one of the songs they played.  I was so happy. Bill helped baptize people today. They used a trough because we had both worship teams playing this morning and our build in tank had lots of cords running over it.  Melissa and her family couldn't be there because all but Hailey and Evan had the flu.  After church, Roy and Marie came over to see the camper.  We all went to Olive Garden for dinner than.  We had to cancel our Easter Celebration Dinner and Egg Hunt until everyone is healthy.  We had a nice dinner and great time visiting.  They brought us home afterwards.  After they left, Kenzie and Travis came to visit.  They looked at the camper and really liked it.  We came in the house and Bill stayed in the camper looking some stuff up.  They wanted to play 3-13, so we went back out to the camper and the four of us played.  I was the winner.  We had lots of fun.   They left and Bill and I got out things together and spent the night in the camper. He turned the furnace on so we were toasty.  We slept good except Bill started coughing some.  

3/31/18...Melissa sounded better this morning, but now Bruce, Jack and Max have the fever and are going to med Express, Went to see God's Not Dead, A Light in Darkness. with Wes, Gayla and Joel, Went to Pizza Hut afterward,

Wes and Gayla got us this beautiful cross from Costa Rica when they went on their cruise.  It will be going in our new camper.

 

Loved this artwork of Adam's.  Such a great job for just beginning art. I showed it to Kenzie because I remember her doing this.  She messaged me one she had done when she was around 13.

We slept in until 8.  Got up and had our oatmeal with raisins and nuts and then Bill left to go get a cord for our camper and I got ready.  I talked to Melissa and She sounded so much better, but now Bruce, Jack and Max have a fever.  YUK! They all went to Med Express.  All got Tamaflu.  Jack had an ear infection so they put him on an antibiotic.  He also is having asthma problems so they gave him a steroid.  please continue to pray for all of them.  I called to see when he was going to be getting home because Wes and Gayla were coming over and he told me he was sitting by the fireplace out in the camper.  I went out and we sat out there for a while.  Wes and Gayla came so we went to the show with them.  We saw God's Not Dead, A Light in Darkness.  It was really good, but I like the first two better.
Love that there are three Christian movies playing at the theatre right now.  Praising God.
We went to Pizza Hut afterward for pizza and had a great time visiting.  We took naps and watched the Michigan game.  Didn't get much done.  Cold, rainy and very windy outside, so we didn't do anything in the camper yet.  Can't wait to start though.
