Our new air conditioner!  We are loving it

I was so happy when I got home from Melissa's to start packing the camper and found that Vikki had got me this iced drink from Starbuck's.  It was cool and delicious!  Thank you so much Vikki!
Love getting all these pictures of Hailey on her class trip.  She is having so much fun!
Bill picked up the camper.  We totally emptied it out before taking it there so now we need to put everything back in it, plus food and other stuff we are taking to BayShore in the morning.
I came home after picking Melissa's kiddos up from school and started packing the camper.  Bill put everything back underneath in the storage areas while I worked on the inside.  He helped me get the tubs by the camper door and then handed them in to me.  It was a big job to do in such little time, but we got done by 10 p.m.  I got ready and went back to Melissa's to spend the night.  We stayed up and visited and then went to bed.

5/23/18...Helped Melissa in the morning, came home and weeded around the house, Dropped some donations off at His Restoration, Went to pick up kids, did a few things for Melissa, Came home and got some things ready for camping, Went back to spend the night at Melissas

Nice selfie Bruce took in front of the cathedral
Isaac an Peyton with the books they wrote about their caterpillars they made.
Evan, Jack and Max.
I got some things ready for the camper.  We can't pick it up until tomorrow, and it is totally empty, so I am getting everything I can ready ahead of time.  Melissa called to let me know Bruce's mom wasn't going to be able to come spend tonight through Friday.  Her and Ron were on their way and had a blowout and the wheel was loose so they couldn't drive it.  I think she would have tried to do to much to not bother them, so it's probably good that I will spend the night again.  She's very comfortable with me so doesn't mind resting when she needs to or letting me do stuff for her.  Went to Vikki's house to see Peyton and Isaac's books they wrote about their caterpillars.  They sure did a great job writing and drawing pictures.  They pictures Vikki took of their caterpillars doing different things were really cute in the book too.
What a fun project.  I picked the boys up and went in to help with homework.  They didn't have a lot so I went home for a couple of hours and got my flower beds weeded and put Preen down.  Trying to get all around the house done before I go.  Went to Melissa's and helped with some things, helped tuck in kiddos, and spent time visiting with Melissa.  She is such a sweetie.  Love spending time with her.

Hailey and her class at the World War II Memorial

Hailey and her class are seeing lots of great places  Today they went to the World War II Memorial. Hailey told me when she got home that it was her favorite place they visited.  Ginny, her four kids, and her mom brought pizzas, breadsticks, and cookies over for dinner for us tonight.  They stayed and ate with us and we had a very nice time.  They left and took Evan with them so he could go to the school for his play.  He is the mayor in the skit and so is Daniel.  They had to split the class in half so each did the same skit.  Ginny was sweet and let Evan use Daniel's Mayor costume.  After they left, Chrystal brought over a huge pasta dinner and some cookies.  She had said she was going to bring it last night, but must have gotten mixed up.  She visited for a while, but we finally told her we had to get to the school for Evan's program.  We messaged Bill to save us a place for the program.  We put the dinner in the refrigerator for tomorrow night. We made it to Evan's program right before it started.  They had a silent auction to auction off the clay pots the first graders made.  Evan's was really cute.  Ginny bid on it, then someone else, then Melissa, then Ginny and then Melissa.  Melissa won the bid.  I did her bidding because she had the walker an walking was difficult because the place was so packed.  Bill didn't get our message, but Ginny's mom, and her mother and father in law, let us sit with them.  We all squeezed in.  The kids were all happy that their mom's won their clay pots.  Evan did a great job being the mayor in the skit.  I spent the night at their house again and after I read the Bible to Evan, he said he had something to give me.  He started taking some stuff out of a clay pot, and gave me the clay pot he made last year.  It was so sweet of him.  Melissa and I stayed up pretty late and had a milky way and some cashews.

Abby loves this toy. She is so cute with it and it's the only toy she gets out to play with.

Hailey and Bruce went to school and got on the bus.  They left for Washington D.C. at 5 in the morning.  I was happy Bruce took pictures.  I was amazed that they got to their destination and were already sight seeing on the first day.  I went to Melissa's in the afternoon and spent the night.  We had fun hanging out and had dark chocolate almonds for our snack.  Hailey and Bruce face timed and it was cute because Hailey asked me to go upstairs and get Abby so she could talk to her.  I face  timed Mocha when I went to Florida so I guess it runs in the family.

I went to church early to prepare stuff for Sunday School.  Making bracelets so had to put beads and string in containers for the kids.  Worship was really good today.  The kids were great in my class.  I had 14.  5 first graders and the rest were kindergarteners.  They liked making the secret code bracelets and learning that God knows everything...even our secrets and we can always talk to him.  It was busy with only 25 minutes to have them make the bracelets, learn what the lesson was about and pray.  Went home and ate a salad for lunch.  Vikki and Peyton came over and we left to go to see Jacob play his clarinet with the Midland Concert Band.  It was such a wonderful concert and Jacob did an amazing job.  So very proud of him and the wonderful young man he is.  After the concert, we went to Culver's for shakes and concrete mixers.  We had a fun time there.  Came home and sat outside and read my Bible for a while.  Took a card I made for Hailey to Melissa's.  She is going to hide it in her suitcase for me tonight, so Hailey will find it when she is in Washington D.C.  She and Bruce and her class leave in the morning.  Bill and I watched, Love Comes Softly.

Rody took these last two pictures!  He always takes great pictures!

Bill went to Walmart to collect money for the Marine Corp League. I cleaned the bathroom. Vikki called and came over to bring my bracelet and Vikki Eddy's bracelet.  They are beautiful.  She also brought me a Mother's Day gift she had bought from Misty and forgot about.  It is a beautiful Owl hanging with three owls.  I will take a picture and put it on tomorrow.  It looks really nice in the room upstairs.  We ate chicken salad sandwiches and Peyton had cheese and crackers.  Peyton got the pillows, and the fan down from the loft in the camper for me.  Bill came home and had lunch with us before he had to go back to Walmart.  Vikki left and I scrubbed the floors and cleaned the grout.  So glad to have that job done.  Went outside when it was done raining and pulled some weeds and cut the dead stalks from last years hibiscus.  Went to Melissa's for Evan's Birthday Celebration.  Bruce had made yummy taco salad and hotdogs.  Everything sure was good and the cake was delicious.
Evan invited Peyton and Isaac for his special friends.  Daniel had a graduation he and his family had to go to so he couldn't make it.  There is always a Sawatski kid at the Royce kid's birthday celebrations because the all have one that is the same age and goes to school with them.  He was missed.  The birthday cake was cute and tasted delicious.  It was lots of fun.
