Bill got me these microwaveable bowl holders the beginning of September.  I forgot I had them, but will be using them lots now.  You set the bowl in them and then you can get them out easily and keep them right in the bowl holders.  Easy to grab out of microwave.  They having something in them, but we can't tell was it is.

Took Melissa to therapy at 8:15. Came home and worked on putting things in the bathroom vanity.
It looks so nice and holds a lot.  Went to get Melissa at 10:30.  I just realized when I wrote this that I was 15 minutes late picking her up.  I went at 10:30 and was supposed to pick her up at 10:15. Sorry Melissa!  We got Grand Turkey Club Sandwiches at Arby's for lunch and took it to her house to eat.  Stayed for a while.  I stopped at Aldi's and got potatoes and creamer.  Worked some more on sorting stuff for the vanity.  Threw a lot of junk out that was old.  The cabinet wasn't dry so they didn't get to put it in.  They will do it tomorrow now.  Can't wait to get stuff put away in it too. Vikki and the kids came over and then Kimmy and the boys came over too.  Wyatt and Lucy came too.  It was so nice having them all here.  I sure have been missing Kimmy and those sweet boys.  We sat outside visiting for a long time.  Vikki was getting bit by mosquitos, so we came in.  The mosquitos are really bad right now.  Made pizza for kids who wanted pizza and warmed up stuffed green peppers, meatloaf, and made baked potatoes for the rest.  We tried to call Melissa to see if she wanted us to pick her up and bring her here or us come there to see her while Kimmy was here.  She was at Evan's soccer practice though.   Jacob, Adam and I played Yardzie outside after we ate.  Vikki was a great help and scorekeeper.  Jacob and I tied.  We had fun!  Sure get exercise with that game.  Peyton, Isaac, and Eli tried throwing the dice and then played on the trampoline.  Kimmy and Wyatt watched us play the game.  Bill had to leave to go to his Marine Corp. Meeting. He said they gave him a standing ovation for his monthly article he writes for their Newsletter.  The girls and kiddos left.  What a fun day it was!  Watched a Hallmark movie.

Went to breakfast, went to Melissa's, Went to Marie and Roys, Took a nap, Bill went to Marine Corp League meeting in Flint

Our sink drain and faucet are hooked up now.  Yay!

Love being able to use the sink now

Our cabinet is made, stained and will be put in tomorrow. Then the workers will be done!  YAY!

My Hailey girl had her MRI yesterday which is a routine check for her spina bifida she had when she was a baby.  She got a great report!  Her neurosurgeon said everything looks great and she doesn't need another MRI for three years.  I am praising and thanking the Lord!

She is so cute!
We went to breakfast and had a nice devotion and prayer time and great fellowship.  Good food too.  Wes, Gayla, Charlie, Dennis, Rich, Pat, Andy, Phyllis, Bill and I were there,  Bill had a VA appointment afterward and I went to Melissa's.  While there, I called Marie. She wasn't doing well and was in tears.  She wanted me t come there so I did. Roy was picking up her medicine from the pharmacy.  She didn't want to make him sad, but wanted me to know what she wanted to wear for her funeral if the Lord takes her home.  She had me put her earrings in the pocket.  I was sad, but did it for her.   I prayed with her, spoke the Word of God over her, put worship music on for her, and picked up food for her and Roy.  They hadn't  got out of the ER last night until 4 a.m. so they didn't get much sleep.  She hadn't taken her medicine since then either, so I had her take it and also the nausea medicine.  She was doing better and more peaceful after that.  She is such a dear friend, prayer warrior, servant of the Lord, and is so caring.  Bev and a couple of other ladies on the church prayer team with Marie were coming to pray with her, so I was happy about that.  Please keep her in prayer.  This has been going on since June.  She was diagnosed with spinal stenosis.  Can't get in to the pain clinic until October.

9/17/18..Bob came over to see what needs to be fixed in the bathroom, He had a friend come stretch our bedroom carpet to meet up with the bathroom floor. Took Melissa to therapy, Picked Royce grandkiddos up from School

Abby with a lego between her paws....She wasn't chewing it, the only thing she chewed was her paw.  It was just funny because where she plopped down was right in the legos and it looked like she was going to chew it.  Melissa and I laughed

Bill and his birthday gift from his sister Tina...Hat Pin and Yardzie Game

Hat and pins (one for me and one for bill) from Tina
Yardzee game even comes with a laminated scoresheet and dry erase marker for scoring.  Everything in a bucket.  So nice!

I touched up the bathroom wall where Bill accidentally put the whole in it when he was trying to hand the phone holder/ toilet paper holder from his sister Angie.  It took lots of coats and sanding, but finally I was able to paint it.  Gave it 2 coats and we both liked the end result.  Won't be putting it up in that spot!  I went to Melissa's early and hung out with her and Abby.  Had to get my doggie time in too!  Took Melissa to therapy to do the Lokomat and have OT.  When I got home,  Bill told me that Bob was coming to fix the bedroom entrance floor.  He had a friend come who stretched the carpet and stapled it so it meets up with the flooring.  Looks nice!.  I went to pick Melissa up.  I went back to talk to her.  She had given me a picture of her and her in patient PT.  She saw him in the hall, so I went and gave him the picture.  He looked at it and read the back.  He laughed and kept smiling, and then walked down the hallway like he did when we gave him the cookies.  Must have taken them to his office. I waited for a while for Melissa to finish and then we went for Frappe's at McDonalds.  We used a coupon.  Went to her house and hung out until it was time for me to pick up the boys from school.  I told them it was "shake" day and they were really excited.  We got their shakes and then I took them home.  I gave the bathroom another coat of paint after I stopped at Wolfeil's and got  a good small sized roller.  Glad that job is done.  I heated Vikki's chili up!  Yummy Chili for sure!
Made stuffed peppers and meatloaf to have tomorrow night.  I used all the peppers up in the garden.
We watched the news and then I read on my book.  I tried to call Kimmy.  Got Adam which was a very nice surprise.  Missing my Russell Family.  Need to go have "Shake time" there soon.

Went to church. Taught Sunday School today and had 12 kids.  Lesson was on, if you see a need, don't wait for someone else, help whenever you can.  Good lesson.  After church, Bill had to work the collection for the Marine Corp League and I went to have Chili at Vikki and Rody's.  It was delicious.  I sure was happy to be able to spend time with Peyton and Isaac too. Haven't seen them much since they started school.  They sure are cute and were so well behaved and sweet while I was there.  I came home and took a nap.  After Bill got home, Vikki came over and helped us count the collection money.  She always helps us.  I pulled some plant sprouts that were coming up where I didn't want them outside, and then Bill and I watched a movie.

Got up early to make a double batch of cheesy potatoes for Matt's Benefit Dinner.  Called Melissa and she said she was at Evan and Jack's soccer game.  If she would have let me know I could have made my potatoes later and made it to at least one of the games.  I ran the potatoes to Melissa's and kept them in my roaster oven to keep them warm.  I left my car there and Misty and Vikki gave me a ride back to my house.  That way I was able to go on the motorcycle ride and then Bill could drop me off to get my car and the food before we went to the Benefit dinner.  Misty came in and looked at our bathroom. When Bill got home from the Marine Corp Collection at Walmart, we left to go on our motorcycle ride.  We went to Jeff and Julie's church for their fun day.  It was only a couple of houses away from where Bill and I met each other in his mom's driveway.  Bill went around telling everyone that which was cute.  We had a nice time and ate a hotdog while we were there.  After that, we went to Melissa's so I could get my car and the food.  I took a blueberry pie I made last night and set it on the bake sale table.  In a minute it was gone.  I didn't see who bought it, but it sure went fast.  We ate and hung out with lots of friends.  Matt was doing great and talked to me about how he always sees Melissa and I when we go to therapy and how great all the therapist are there.  Then he told me how he did the lokomat for 45 minutes and how sore he was the next day.
I am so happy with how well he is recovering from his motorcycle accident.  What a miracle he is too!  We got home and Bill had to go pick up the stuff from the Marine Corp League.  He asked me to go with him but when we walked to the truck he remembered he had to give a guy that goes to our church a ride home and his backseat of the truck would be full.  When he got home, we went to Pat and Rich's house for her birthday.  Bill got mixed up and the cake and ice cream is actually tomorrow night that we were supposed to be at.  We had a nice visit though. are home and watched a movie on the Hallmark Channel.
