1/25/19...Went to SportsZone, Went to Riverside, Charlie went to Urgent Care, Went to therapy with Melissa, Painted kitchen wall, filled nail holes in woodwork in, Wrote vision for 2019

Abby was so cute all buried in the couch pillows this morning.  All you could see was her head.
Painted the wall in the kitchen to match the rest of the kitchen. It was green.

Looks so nice all done with tape removed

I borrowed the pictures above of Kenzie and Travis from Kimmy

Kenzie and Travis are at Vikki's tonight.  I borrowed their picture!

We walked at SportsZone, then went to Riverside for Breakfast.  Bill was pretty funny.  He started ordering and said we'd both have eggs over medium, crispy bacon and.....I stopped him to tell him I wanted ham and the waitress laughed and said she was wondering if I wanted what he was ordering for me.  First time he's ever done that!  I had to laugh myself.  We had a nice visit during breakfast. Andrea was there and came and talked to us too.  When I got home, I went to Melissa's.  We went to therapy and I stayed to watch.  I am so thankful for how good she is doing with everything and especially the quad cane.  Her therapist she had today is so nice.  She didn't have OT so we headed home and picked up Coney dogs from Old Town on our way.  We ate them when we got to Melissa's.  I came home and started staining some spots on the door that the guys who did our bathroom missed.  Then I filled the nail holes in the trim with wood filler and stained them.  I decided to paint the green wall in the kitchen grey too.  It sure looks nice.  Bill and I went to Outback to write out our vision for 2019.  It went well and our meal was delicious.  We went to Home Depot after that and Bill got a huge tool chest cabinet that he really wanted.  He was so happy.  He let me off and opened the garage door and told me I could stay inside and he would call me if he needed me.  I went out to check on him because I was worried the heavy 345 pound box might fall on him.  He was trying to figure out how to get it off the truck.  He had his hydraulic lift out, but it wouldn't go as high as he needed.  I suggested he use his rolling bench and slide it on there because it was just a little lower than the truck bed.  He slid it on to it and then was able to hook up the hydraulic lift and lower it to the ground.  Then we had to do one more box. I came in after that and he put them all together. Now he just has to lift one and put it on top of the other.
He told me thank you and appreciated my help.  I sure did pray and I sure did thank the Lord.
We watched a Hallmark movie.

1/24/19...Took Missy to therapy, went shopping, went to Lunch at Souper Cafe, Showed movie at Rescue Mission

Melissa, Evan, Max and Jack

Slept in.  Got ready and took Melissa to therapy.  When shopping while she was in therapy for  some groceries at Aldi's.  Picked up some cards at the Dollar Store.  Went to Walmart and got lots of things for the Clothes Basket the girls and I are doing for Aunt Vikki to use in her ministry to girls. Went to pick up Melissa and we ended up going to lunch at Souper Cafe.  Jen was there with Allison and came up to us and was so sweet and happy to see us.  She and her husband are the owners of the Souper Cafe.  She messaged me later and told me what a blessing it was to see Melissa and how she is improving.  Took Melissa home and then came home did a few things and talked to Vikki before I picked up Jack, Evan, and Max from school.  Went to McDonalds and got Hailey a hamburger and lemonade, then took it to her when we picked her up from school.  She ate quickly and then I dropped her off at her last Driver's Training Class.  I took the boys to McDonalds and got them Happy Meals and Melissa a cheeseburger and fries.  I dropped them off and then went to Hallmark and got Gayla and Stacie's Birthday gifts.  Came home and Bill and I ate spaghetti real fast and then headed to the Goodrich Theater to pick up popcorn they donated for our Faith Rider's Movie night at the Rescue Mission.  We went to the Rescue Mission and put the popcorn in containers and got ready for everyone to come.  We had 15 guys there tonight.  We showed God's Not Dead 2.  They loved it.  We were able to pray for a 30 yr. old young man afterward.  It's amazing how God uses the movies to touch their hearts. I love doing this ministry.  Wes and Gayla, Luis and Evan and Bill and I were the Faith Riders who were there to help serve.  When we left, I gave Gayla her gift.  I gave her a card box and lots of cards to go in it.  She called me when she got home and loved it.  Talked to Melissa for a while and then went to bed.

1/23/19....Walked at SportsZone, Taught Wed. night Kids Care Group,

It snows last night so I had Bill call me and let me know how the roads were before heading to the SportsZone.  He said they were just slushy, so I decided to go.  I got there and they were playing their 4th Euchre game, and Bill and Charlie had won the first three so were pretty happy.  I went upstairs and started walking, and Bill came and joined me when he was done.  He walked 2 miles and I walked 2 1/2.  Got home and did things around the house and balanced the checkbook.  Read another Elizabeth Gail book.  Taught my kiddos at Church.  It was a great lesson with lots of great activities and games.  Came home and Bill and I watched a Hallmark Movie.

1/22/19...Went to breakfast, took Melissa to therapy, went to Tim Hortons, started our care group back up

Me and this sweet daughter stopped for a donut and drink at Tim Hortons after therapy.

Bill and I went to breakfast at Sullivans with our group.  I left early to pick Melissa up for therapy.  I dropped her off and went home to get stuff done for care group tonight.  Melissa had the Lokomat and OT so her therapy was 2 1/2 hours today.  I was going to vacuum our kernel burner insert out because I know it's time for it to be cleaned.  I had to wait until it shut down, so I couldn't do it before I left.  I did put the plastic down to protect the carpet, and also got the ash vacuum out be fore I left to get her.  I picked her up and got there early so I could go in and watch her in therapy for a few minutes.  Matthew was supposed to get there 15 minutes after her therapy, so we waited to see him. We got to talk to him and Tom for a few minutes and then Matthew had to go start his therapy.  Melissa and I went to Tim Horton's on our way home.  We both got Boston Cream donuts and she got a Mocha and I got a French Vanilla Cappuccino.  We had a nice visit while we were there.  Sure love spending time with my family.  I went to Krogers to pick up some groceries.  Came home and was going to get right at cleaning the kernel burner, but Bill was just finishing it.  Wow, I was so happy he did that for me.  I gave him a big kiss and thanked him.  He sure has been doing a lot of nice and kind things for me lately.  He read Josh's book and he is putting it in to practice.  Josh goes to our church and wrote a book on how to treat your girl!  I read it too.  He did a great job writing the book.  I finished getting ready for care group and made dinner.  We had a really good lesson in care group and had good discussion.  We only had six here because we just started up and it hasn't been announced in church yet.  It was so nice having it again.  We have missed it.  Bill did an amazing job leading our group.  Loved it.

Isaac loved all the underwear that was passed to him too.  He was so cute and come out of the bathroom saying I've never had such comfy unders.

Bill woke me up at 3 and said the power was off.  It was -5 degrees outside so was getting cold in the house.  Our pellet burner was plugged in and running on the computer, so it went out.  I called Consumers and they it had gone off at 11 p.m. last night.  They said it would be back on around 4 a.m.  We figured that was only an hour, so we stayed in bed and cuddled to keep warm.  Bill didn't go plug the generator in to run the furnace because it was going to be coming on soon.  Well we went back to sleep and it was 7:22 a.m. when it came back on.  The kernel burner started back up and the temperature on it said 57 degrees in the room.  We turned the furnace on too and before long it was toasty in here.  I made him oatmeal, but I didn't eat because I'm taking Hailey to Coco Loco's (her favorite restaurant) for lunch and they give you so much food even for a half order.
Melissa and family were goin to Henry Ford Museum, but Hailey didn't want to go so wanted to spend the day with me.  I picked her up at 10:30 and we came to my house and hung out.  I asked her if she wanted Aunt Vikki to come to lunch with us and she said she did.  We called Vikki and she got Rody's mom to watch Peyton and Isaac and then met us at Coco Loco's at 11:45.  We all ate 1/2 orders of Nachos, beans and cheese and they are the best there. We had chips and salsa too.  We couldn't finish our food and were stuffed.  We had so much fun and laughed a lot.  After that, we went to Vikki's so she could give Hailey her keyboard.  She couldn't find the stand, but says Kenzie can get a stand for pretty cheap.  Hailey and I played Isaac's drums. I videoed her and she videoed me.  They were such funny videos.  I just put a framed picture on here.  Hailey and I went back to my house until almost time for her to go to driver's training.  We took pop cans to Krogers and she helped me put them in the machine.  We stopped at her house for her to get her driver's training stuff and let Abby outside.  I dropped her off at Center Courts.  She has driver's training for 6 hours to make up for bad weather.  I met Vikki there and picked up Peyton, Isaac and Lucy to bring to my house while Vikki and Rody met with their Landlord.  The kids were so good and so much fun.  Lucy was a very good puppy too and spent lots of time in my lap.  They were so happy and cute about the bag of clothes the Beemers gave me to pass down to them. Bill and I watched a movie before bedtime. So thankful for power!

1/20/19...Went to church, Attended Stewards of Children Class after church, Finished reading 2 books

Isaac was blessed with this beautiful drum set from Quentin Mack.  He practice all day Vikki said

Went to church.  I drove separate because I had to stay for a class after church.  Worship was great and prayer for a couple and their baby was amazing.  After church, those attending the class had to head back to the fellowship hall for lunch.  They had yummy chicken and chicken salad sandwiches, lots of fruit and veggies, and cookies.  Our class started right after we ate.  It was Called stewards of Children, and was to help make us aware of child sexual abuse so we can know what to do to protect kids from it and help recognize if a child is being abused so we can report it.
Awful and heartbreaking what people do to kids.  Came home and finished reading the Book, Norman.  Then I started the first Elizabeth Gail book and finished it.  Made chicken, mashed potatoes, and peas for dinner.  Watched the Patriot's and Chief's game.

Adam, Bill, Isaac and me after Isaac's basketball game

It was snowing and blowing today.  Very cold too.  Bill and Adam went to the Marine Corp. League Breakfast at I-Hop.  After they were done, they came and picked me up to go to Isaac's game.  It was slippery out so I was happy not to have to drive.  Hailey had driver's training and got back to Center Courts just as we were leaving.  We didn't get to see her, but I talked to her later and she said she did a good job driving to Bay City and didn't slide any.  Adam, Bill and I played 3-13.  I won this one.  Adam had fun face timing his mom, brothers, and cousins.  He was so cute and is such a sweet boy to have around.  We sure had a fun time with him.  We took him to meet Jared at 5:15 at the bowling alley in Midland.  He is a real gentleman and was always opening doors and wanted to carry all of his stuff so I wouldn't have to help.  After we dropped him off, we met Vicki and Kevin Beemer at Olive Garden for dinner.  They had called us right before we left with Adam to see if we could meet them.  We had a nice visit and talked about Kevin taking over as President of Faith Riders for Bill and Vicki is interested in taking over the Newsletter for me which would be great.
She brought a bag of clothes for Peyton and Isaac which was really nice of her.
