Sunday, 2/21/21, Went to church, took a nice nap, Bill beat me at 3-13,

Cute picture of the sheep and lambs that Eli sent me
 Bill beating me at cards

We went to church.  Good message and good worship!  We both took a nap when we got home.  Shouldn't have done that, because I was tired the rest of the day then.  Read our Bibles and did our devotions, and I did the first lesson in my discipleship book.  Bill beat me at 3-13.  We both were negative, but he was negative 59 and I was negative 7.  I wasn't nearly negative enough though.  We watched a movie after that.  Kimmy said Aunt Pammie bought two more mugs and a salt pig.  Bill and I were very happy about that.

Sat. 2/20/21, Cleaned the last paint roller out, filled the humidifier, Did my Bible Study Lesson, Vikki, Peyton, Kenzie, Travis and Mylee came over

Vikki noticed the beautiful sunset across the road from us and took this picture because it had a cross around it.
Travis and Kenzie playing checkers...Mylee in background
My little visitor was back by the sliding glass door today.  I didn't see it, but i see all the prints it left in the snow that fell overnight
Peyton and Lucy, Kenzie and Mylee, Isaac and Lenny
Travis, Kenzie and Mylee
Kenzie with her hot water with lemon juice, Chocolate protein drink, and Oreo cookies.  Actually the cookies were left on the table by Peyton and I don't think Kenzie even had one.

We ate our breakfast, had our coffee, then Bill left for his therapy.  Read my Bible and prayed, then listened to worship.  I hauled wood pellets in from the garage and filled the buckets.  Filled all the bird feeders.  Watered and fertilized my indoor plants.  Washed out the last paint roller.  I had been using it to touch up any spots I saw, but looks like no more touch ups needed.  Filled the water containers in the humidifier.
shoveled sidewalks.  After that, I worked on my homework for Bible Study and got it done.  Bill called me because he saw an opossum eating birdseed on the ground under the tree.  There is always some critter coming to join the birds.  Vikki, Peyton, Kenzie, Travis and Mylee came for a visit.  Vikki brought us her delicious bean dip she made.  It was so yummy.  Bill's disappeared right away and mine is almost gone.  Travis and Peyton played checkers.  Mylee did her tricks for Kenzie and does them so nice.  She is a very smart dog.
They got her a gentle leader.  She doesn't like it yet, but will get used to it I'm sure.  We watched Wheel of Fortune, Fixer Upper and then a movie.  Yay, Eli is feeling better today!!!
Texted with Adam and Hailey today.  Hailey and I are excited that the weather is warming up and we are planning a visit together this week.  We sent each other big hugs in our texts today.

Friday, 2/19/21, I was supposed to go to Kimmy's for the day, but Eli had a sore throat. Happy Birthday Abby! Dropped off the muffins and bagels I had picked up at Sams still and got to see them outside. New electric throw arrived,

Line up at the Turkey Roost...they came out and got our order and then brought it out to us a short time later.  Two lanes lined up for pick up

Fish combo dinner from the Turkey Roost.  Bill just had Walleye

I had a little visitor by the sliding glass door today
Daisy with her newborn lambs today

I had been up, but crawled back under the covers to stay warm with the electric blanket.  Kimmy called and said Eli's throat was still sore and his nose was runny.  He stayed home from school. We decided it would be better to visit another day and not take any chances.  Bill got up and we ate breakfast and had our morning coffee.  Spent time praying and then put worship music on for a while.  I called Kimmy to see if it was ok to drop off the muffins and bagels I had picked up at Sam's Club for them.  Eli sent me a text on my way asking where I was.  I couldn't text him back because I was driving, so I just texted him when I got on his road.  On the way there I listened to worship music through bluetooth on my phone.  I saw on the radio screen that my phone was calling 911.  I quickly hit the hang up icon.  My phone has been making random calls since the last update.  Melissa's phone is doing the same thing.  A few minutes later, I got a call from the emergency center asking if I was OK.
I said yes and told her my phone just started dialing 911 while I was driving.  So weird.
I got to Kimmy's and we kept a good distance apart and all wore our masks and stayed outside.  Eli got a lamb, Oz, that Kenzie named and he showed me and let me take pictures.
We visited for a short time, then I left and went to get thistle seed at Jack's.  Got some bananas and asparagus too, plus some fruit gumdrop slices (mixed and one that was just orange).  That will be our snack when Kimmy and I can get together.  We love the orange ones and there are never enough orange.  Of course, we have lots of help eating them, so orange disappears quickly.  Bill took Stacie's hug ring to her today.  She loved hers to and said it was one of the most meaningful gifts she had ever received.  Bill picked up a door stop for our bedroom closet door.  We decided to get fish from the Turkey Roost for dinner.  We wanted perch, but they don't have any right now.  He got Walleye and I got the combo (Walleye, Cod and Shrimp).  We both got huge baked potatoes too.  Enough for tomorrow too it looks like.  My new electric throw came today.  My other one started blinking and they say when that happens you need to get a new one.  I ordered the night before last, and it was here already today.  It is the softest one I have ever had!  I get my use out of my electric throws because I use them lots.  Kimmy sent me pictures of Jared and the boys enjoying their treats I took them.  That was so thoughtful of her.  She sure knows what makes me happy.  The boys all texted me and thanked me to and said they were really good.  Thoughtful boys there!  I talked to Vikki a couple of times today.

Thurs., 2/18/21, Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac, Put Valentine Decorations away, Bill and I went to Sam's Club

Isaac and Peyton...We found a new spot for them to stand for a change

Peyton had to write an article for school with quotations.  She loves to cook with her mom so here is her article and here is her cute picture below

Jacob holding a lamb...I borrowed this from Kimmy.  Now I just need one of Adam holding a lamb

Got my breakfast ate, Bible read, and prayer time done before Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac.  Vikki surprised us and brought donuts for us all.  She brought a large French Vanilla Cappuccino for me too!  Such a great surprise.  I haven't had either in a very long time.  Of course, Bill loved his donut.  Thank you Vikki!  Bill had to leave for therapy, then Vikki had to leave for work.  The kids had a few minutes to play on their devices, then we started spelling.  We read Ralph the Mouse and also read the Picture Bible.  They wanted to play Tonk after that so we did.  We didn't get to finish our game because we all kept getting low so didn't even get close to 100.  Peyton was at 21, I was at 41 and Isaac was at 61 when we stopped.  We sure played a lot of hands.  There were many times when Peyton had 0 points in her hand.  We did take a break to eat our lunch.  Then we continued playing.  Vikki got here, but since they had to do school when they got home, we didn't have enough time to finish.  I sure love having them come.  They are so much fun!  Kimmy called.  I thought maybe more lambs were born, but they weren't.  I am excited to go there tomorrow and see the lambs.  Happy to spend time with Kimmy too and maybe if it works out, see the boys.
Adam, Eli and Max texted me.  I love texting with grandkids.  I took the Valentine Decorations down.  Packed up the old ceiling fan in the box the new one came in.  Bill worked on the lights on the motorcycle.  He called me to have me come out and look at them.  They are really nice and he did a great job.  We even have fog lights now.  He got caught on a mountain once in the fog.  Yikes!  So thankful he made it down safely.  Bill and I went to Sam's to get some things I needed.  Hardly any customers were in the store.  Guess we hit a good time.  Bill filled my car up with gas there.  I don't have and money off at Kroger because I haven't been shopping there hardly at all since Covid.  We came home and ate.  Watched a movie and had ice cream.

Went through some old pictures with Peyton and Isaac today

Kimmy, Melissa and Vikki  (it was Kimmy and Vikki's first day of Young Fives
 Vikki, Bill and Kimmy

I was sad to hear that Carmen passed away yesterday.  He was one of our favorite Christian singers in the 80's and we went to lots of his concerts.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went to one two years ago and it was so nice.  Rush Limbaugh passed away today and that was sad news too.  He loved his country and loved Jesus.  Our loss is heaven's gain, but sure will miss them being here.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac in the morning.  We worked on spelling.  The words were harder this week.  They were au and aw words.  They missed more than usual, but learned them pretty quickly.  We started reading another Ralph the Mouse book. We went through old pictures looking for pictures of the girls with Carmen, but didn't find them.  While Peyton was on the computer with her teacher, Isaac looked at some pictures in the attic with me and he loved that our last house was laid out just like their house now.  Peyton looked at pictures with us she was done.  Vikki picked the kids up.  I had them ready and they ran out, because she had be home for them to be online for a school meeting.  I talked to Kimmy.  It was -8 degrees this morning, and she told me she took Jared to work because they were having new tires and some work done on his car.  He had to walk almost a mile in that cold because they have gates up now and Kimmy couldn't drive him in.  Burr!  He is a hardy one.  I can't wait to go to Kimmy's on Friday.  Vikki called and said the kids teacher let them know how they did on their testing and they both did great.  Bill and I ate chicken noodle soup for lunch and dinner.  Started my Bible Study.

Tues., 2/16/21, 6 1/2 inches of snow here, More lamb pictures of Kimmy's, CMA leadership zoom meeting,

It was sure a beautiful morning with the snow.  Lots of birds were happy when I filled the feeders and put some birdseed on the ground

I see Bill is taking after Max.  He got too close to the propane heater in the shed while he was working

Jacob sent me this picture...he said...delicious pizza rolls...yum yum!  Happy he likes my pizza rolls.  I see fussy Eli in the background eating plain pizza lol.
Evan having fun on a hill him and Jack made at their house
It makes a nice seat for Jack too

Jack and Evan making a snow hill
Kimmy and Jared's sheep Frannie and her lamb
Their sheep Eva and her lambs
Max went to shovel the driveway at Ann's ...I texted Hailey to take a picture for me, but I was talking to Melissa and she said he was walking home with the shovel so I thought I was too late.  Hailey was pretty fast taking it out her window I guess, because she sent it to me right after Melissa said he was walking home
Ha Ha...Adam sent me this picture.  He said his mom told him to fold towels in half, than in half again.  This is how he did.  I told him he could practice more at my house when he comes next time.  We both ha ha'd over that.
Vikki told me she was making noodle soup.  It sounded good, so I made a pot too. Bill was pretty happy and ate two bowls

We got up and made the bed together as usual.  I got a bag of pellets and put it in the buckets, then filled the kernel burner which was getting pretty low.  I took the garbage out too.  It was so windy and cold, I got a headache from it and came in and put my neck/face warmer on.  I shoveled the sidewalks and where Bill parks the truck. I shoveled the deck paths too and around the bird feeders.  Bill had therapy.  When he got home he drove the tractor and snow blowed the driveways.  He worked in the shed some more on the motorcycle, putting parts back on after installing the lights he got for Christmas.  He got a little too close to the heater as you can see by his Marine Jacket.  I sent Max a picture so he could see that his Papa was taking after him.  Max melted the whole back of his sweatshirt by getting too close to our kernel burner.  I made yummy noodle soup. After dinner, we had a zoom meeting for CMA Leadership in Michigan. It was a good meeting.  Prayer night was cancelled because of the roads being bad.  We watched a movie.

Mon., 12/15/21...Walked 2 miles, read a journal I kept in 1990, Ordered our carpet, Kimmy had another lamb born

Kimmy and Jared's twin Sheep Ruby and Emerald both had lambs on Valentine's Day

This is what it looks like as we are getting ready to go to bed.  Lots of schools closed already

Got up early to walk on the treadmill 2 miles.  Have to get back at it.  It's been a couple of weeks so it's definitely time.  Ate our oatmeal and had our coffee.  Bill worked putting the new lights I got him for Christmas on the motorcycle.  He finished them today, but it took quite a while.  I mailed two cards out, talked to Stacie, Melissa a couple of times, Evan, Max and Jack, Vikki a couple of times, Kimmy a couple of times, and my friend Vikki E.I was a busy phone day.  Texted lots with Adam and messaged lots with Kody.  I read an old journal. What a blessing to read and remember all those memories with the kids and grandkids, Bill, and my dad.  I shoveled the sidewalks and deck paths.  Bill did the snowblowing with the tractor.  Lots of birds today!  They know a storm is coming.  It started snowing and blowing around 8:30 p.m. and is really coming down now.  Melissa called me and Evan wanted to talk to me.  He told me thank you for the yummy Little Debbie treats and told me he loved me.  Then he thanked me for the light up charging cord which all the boys loved.  I let him tell Papa thank you since it was his idea.  What a sweetie Evan is.  Went through my pictures and deleted those I didn't want.  Still waiting for Kimmy's boys school to close for tomorrow.  They are always last.
