We got ready, read my Bible, then went down to breakfast.  Went to the church and had coffee, then went to pray with leadership.  Heard great messages, great worship, and great fellowship. At 4, those who were officers gathered for officers orientation.  Bill taught about the President position to all those who were presidents.  I went and helped pack up goodies.  We had it done before Bill was done with his teaching.  He was the last class done. We all made sure the church was clean, then we headed to the restaurant for dinner.  Talked to Kenzie on our way home. Texted with Adam, Melissa,Vikki, Kimmy and Debbie. Debbie wanted to know hot to watch our church service online so she can watch it tomorrow.  I loved the pictures Melissa sent me today of them at Daytona Beach.  Love seeing them having so much fun!

We got ready, read our Bibles and went down for breakfast at 7:30.  Went to the church and helped set up tables for Goodies.  Then the guys unloaded all the merchandise and we girls put it all out on the tables.  Lots of stuff!  It went well with all the help and our Goodie reps being very organized.  After that, Bill and I set up our table to sell the card holders he made that Kimmy and Vikki sanded and we girls all stained.  At the end of the night, we sold 7.  Tomorrow will be when the most people will be here, so hopefully we sell lots more.

We went downstairs and set up lots of tables and chairs for enjoying snacks, having pizza tonight and the a baked potato bar tomorrow.  Lots of hands made the work light!

Kathy and Jeff did a super job leading us in worship.  Jane gave a short but really good message, then Jay, her husband and our National Evangelist gave an amazing message.  It was so good.  We all had pizza afterward and enjoyed fellowship time.

Texted with Adam who was excited to have a snow day, Hailey who was excited to have a snow day, Debbie, Vikki and Kimmy.  Vikki checked on our house for us and picked up Carol’s computer she ordered. Thank you so much Vikki!!! Rody is setting it up for Carol!  Vikki checked on Kit Kat too and got our mail.  All without being asked.  She is always so good to us!

Pictures Melissa sent me from their Florida trip today
Jack and Evan building with legos.  The pillow behind them has a Mickey Mouse head on it.  In their rental house, there were little Mickey Mouse's that they would find that weren't real noticeable at first

This is what Evan made out of candy legos.  He told me it was something you want to do when you play a game

We took our showers, got ready, packed, ate fresh fruit and drank our coffee. We read our Bibles and then Bill did some laundry and I gave Kit Kat some soft food and then gave her attention.  Bill worked on some things he’s taking to Seasons and also on the class he is teaching at officers training.  We left at noon.  I FaceTimed with Melissa most of the trip.  Got to face time with Jack and Evan too.  Bruce and Max were on a walk.  Bruce had Jack give her a Frappe he got for her.

We got to our hotel, unpacked and then went to the Parlor.  Not many people, but the one girl was doing everything, so she called extra help in.  We waited a half hour to get waited on.  Prices were pretty high, $8,99 for my single scoop and $12.99 for Bills 2 scoop sundae.  I almost didn’t want to order.  We did though and they were so big, we had to take our leftovers to our motel room freezer. They were yummy and it’s a great memory.

We  relaxed in our room, then met Ziggy for dinner at the Olive Garden.  We had a great time.

Back at our hotel, I talked with Vikki, texted with Adam and Hailey.  We are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow tonight!

Very cold, windy and lots of ice outside.  All grandkids were off school except Peyton and Isaac.  Can't believe they had school.  Got up and put worship music on.  Made coffee and oatmeal for my breakfast.  Bill and Charlie went out on the icy roads and met for coffee.  YIKES!  I didn't go on the roads all day.  Eva, Kimmy and Jared's sheep had twins today.  They are the last lambs of the season.  Happy for Kimmy....kind of stressful with the ones that have a hard time.  Eli found these lambs already standing this morning.  Nice when they are easy deliveries.  I made butterhorn dough and put it in the refrigerator.  Made two patches of dough in the bread makers.  Bill got home and we did our morning reading.  Filled the bird feeders that were all iced up.  The birds were sure happy I took care of them.  They were eating at the feeders all day.  Kit Kat went outside with me and came running and jumped on the deck and went sliding.  Guess she learned a lesson about ice.  She was so funny sliding across the deck.  I rolled up the butterhorns and let them rise.  Then baked them and let them cool, while I made the cabbage buns and baked them.  Busy in the kitchen today.  Bill ran some of each over to Charlie and Sue for me.  I put some cabbage buns in the freezer for busy days too.  We are taking the butterhorns for our treat for Seasons of Refreshing.  Everyone brings something to share.

In the evening,  Bill and I bundled up card holders in sets of 4 with twine.  We left some singles in case people want one or two.  I got some bags we had in the attic out and packed those in with the card holders.  Bill made a sign for a clip on picture holder I had and I cut the sign to fit perfectly on it.  Also got the money box ready.  We are hoping we sell lots as we are donating the money to Run for the Son to help missions.  Thanks again, Kimmy and Vikki for all of your hard work sanding them and helping stain them.  We sure appreciate you both!  You've donated to RFS by doing that.

Talked with Vikki, Hailey and Melissa, and texted with Kimmy, Adam and all the them too. Melissa sent me some wonderful pictures of their day at Disney today.
Kenzie helped Bill with his small CMA State Rally Street Party cards he is making up.  She is amazing how she connects with him and does whatever is needed to make it how he wants it.  Travis helped him too.  He went to college for this and taught Kenzie how to do it too.  They are pretty amazing and very smart.  Thanks Kenzie and Travis.  We really appreciate you two and all the help and time you have given Papa.

Tues., 2/22/22...Two's Day!!! Took Hailey to the Store, Made Cabbage Buns, Took Cabbage Buns to Hailey

Some more nice pictures of their rental home in Florida Melissa sent

Evan with a tree frog they found

Extra girls room they didn't use as Hailey goes to in person school, so couldn't take off.  She has a big music trip coming up and couldn't miss practices either.

The picture of Hailey was my only picture I took all day.  I'm glad Vikki posted a cute one for me to put on too.  I had tea this morning and Bill had coffee.  Melissa face timed me.  Bill and I did our Bible reading and praying.  It was a rainy day, and we have lots of standing water in our yard.  Bill took the garbage out in the rain.  I made dough in the bread makers and cooked burger, cabbage and onion for the filling to make cabbage buns.  Hailey called me and wanted me to go to the store with her.  I picked her up and we went to Kroger and she got the few things she needed.  I left for home to make the cabbage buns.  Marie called me while they were baking and I was talking to her upstairs and forgot about the cabbage buns in the oven until Bill texted me and told me the timer was going off.  Good thing he was down there to let me know.  Saved me from burned buns!!!   Talked to Kimmy a couple of times today and talked to Vikki.  I dropped some cabbage buns off to Hailey to have and extra's for the freezer.  She loves my cabbage buns.  It started as our yearly tradition at Bay Shore when we camp together.  Peyton and Isaac got such good report cards, Vikki doesn't even need a conference.  That's always nice.  Watched worship on television.  Got my daily texts from Adam and texted lots with Hailey.  I called Vikki to pray for Bill to get home safely when I heard Bay City Officials were asking people not to drive on the roads because of the ice.  Then I saw all of their schools were closed already.  Just as I was asking Vikki, Bill pulled in.  He said the side roads are like a sheet of ice so he doesn't think they will have school here either.  I sure was glad when he pulled in and was safe.  I sure am enjoying the pictures Melissa sends.  I am missing them so much.
