3/19/16 Went to the health fair with Bill and then went to the movie and out to eat with the girls

Vikki took a selfie of us at Olive Garden

Bill and I went to the Health Fair at Horizons this morning.  We had our glucose checked, blood pressure, cholesterol, laser cool massage for dad's neck, and skin cancer check.  Everything was free so it was very nice.  We picked up lots of goodies too.  Everything was good with me except I need to get my cholesterol down.  Bill needs to work on his blood sugar and blood pressure.  We both need to eat better so I made veggie soup for the week.  At 4:10 the girls, Hailey and I went to see the movie, Miracles from Heaven.  I had seen it and wanted them to all see it too.  Hailey drank 3 lemonades and ate two kids popcorns, and some candy.  She told me she had to go to the bathroom so I took her.  I walked to a stall and then expected her to go in the one next to me.  I turned around and saw her in the mirror, she was leaning over the garbage looking sick.  I went to her right away and prayed for her.  She threw up quite a bit but hit the garbage which was good.  A little girl was watching her and she looked scared.  Hailey then went in the bathroom and had diarrhea.  My poor girl.  She did feel better when she came out and we went back into the movie.  She missed the part where the girl fell into the tree.  This movie was so good.  We all loved it.  We went to Olive Garden afterwards for dinner.  Melissa and Kimmy had spaghetti, and Vikki and I had chicken alfredo.  We also had bread sticks and salad.  Hailey just wanted Mozerelli sticks and bread sticks.  I was happy she felt like eating.  Thankful to the Lord for that.  Took Kimmy back to the theatre to pick her car up and the rest of us came back to my house.  Bruce texted Melissa and said Jack was retracting.  We prayed for him and I sure am continuing to pray for him.  So thankful all the son in laws watched the kids so we could go out for this fun night.

Bill, Melissa, Kimmy, Vikki and kiddos, Wes and Gayla, Sue, and Vikki Eddy called me to wish me happy birthday.  Aunt Debbie an Aunt Brenda sent me texts.  Got many greetings on facebook that I read.  So thankful to have a loving family and so many sweet friends.  Kimmy asked if they could come over which made me very happy.  She didn't want me making my own birthday cake, so she wanted to make one when she got home. I told her no, that Vikki was coming over and could make one at my house.  When I asked Vikki to come at night when Kimmy was coming, Vikki did't want me making my own cake either so the sweetie went and picked up two cake mixes and made and decorated two beautiful, delicious cakes. Kimmy picked up ice cream and brought it.  Melissa didn't want me making my own cake either.  Three very sweet and precious daughters they are!  We all had fun and the kids all made me beautiful cards.  I got a thing to hook on the ladder of the 5th wheel and it has several lines to hang clothes on from everyone.  Peyton and Isaac got me cute little clothes pins to use for it which will be great and some snickers.  The cake was delicious.  The girls wouldn't let me do anything and just waited on me and everyone else.  We had lots of fun.  Kimmy cut Melissa's boys' hair and Melissa, Vikki, Adam, Peyton, Isaac and I walked in the basement to Christian music.I gave Adam a fitbit and he was so excited to get steps.  Bill gave me a single red rose in the morning which was so sweet of him.  (He gave me my fitbit one last week for my birthday)  He also hid a card which I worked hard finding, and it was so beautiful and had a $25 Penney's gift card in it.
It was a wonderful evening with family.  Poor Eli wasn't feeling too well so I laid hands on him and prayed for him.  All the grandkids were so sweet and precious!

3/17/16 Meeting Best Friend Vikki today! YAY

Met friend, Vikki, at Panera Bread.  Thought about the last time we were there and when we walked out to our cars, she showed me her coconut oil.  She was surprised though because it melted and so she started rubbing some on my arms and hands for me to try.  Had to laugh because I was pretty shiny in the parking lot.  We ordered steak sandwiches, soup, and a cherry pastry.  We bit into our sandwiches and they were cooked rare.  YUK....  We tried to eat another bite but it was horrible.  She stayed with our gifts and stuff while I went and talked to a manager.  He was nice and gave us turkey sandwiches instead.  We opened our gifts up.  She got me a Gift card to the Christian Book Store, and a $15 i tunes card, a nice towel, hair scissors, a cute 4 leaf clover to hang on my purse, and a  cute plaque with a scripture on it.  Kenzie messaged me to see if I was buy.  I told her I was with Aunt Vikki and she said ok.  We left to go to the Christian Book Store to shop together and I messaged Kenzie back to see what she wanted.  She was looking for someone to take her to the hospital because she had strep throat.  I told her I would come right then, so said goodbye to Vikki and headed to get her.  Picked her up and went to Covenant.  The dr. said right away that it was strep throat.  He had the nurse start her on an antibiotic and then gave her a script.  We took that to the pharmacy at Walgreens and they said it would be ready by 6:30.  I took her home as I had to be home to go with Bill to get the Orange drink from McDonalds at 5:30 and then the popcorn from Goodrich Theatre at 5:45.  We picked them up and headed to the Rescue Mission.  Filled the popcorn cups and dad mixed the orange drink from McDonalds.  Hooked up our dvd player and got things set.  Another couple came and started helping.  We showed the movie, Fireproof, and had 18 guys, plus the Mayer and a friend of his and then 5 of us Faith Riders.  Their reactions to the movie during it were great.  We were able to pray with one person for healing afterwards.  One guy came up to me and said it wasn't just the movies that the guys liked but it meant so much to them that we would come there and spend time with them.  The mayor was very nice and said he was so happy to have come.  On our way home we dropped the igloo off at McDonald's on Tittabawassee. Then dad was nice and said he would take me to get Kenzie's prescription so I didn't have to drop him off and go back for it
After that I took it to Kenzie.  There was a guy coming down their driveway when I was walking up and I asked him if Kenzie was there.  She hadn't answered my message.  He said he didn't know, but he thought so.  The garage door was open and the light was on so I went in and I knocked at the door.  I heard a voice I thought, so I opened the door and stepped in.  A big doberman came barking at me.  I said "nice doggie" and hoped he wouldn't bite me.  I was yelling to get someone to answer me so I could get Kenzie her medicine.  The dog kept looking at me.  I stepped back out the door and was pretty happy to only have it open a crack between me and big doggie.  Kenzie finally heard me and woke up and came upstairs.  I gave her the medicine and she gave me a hug and she was burning up.  Gave her some motrin to help with the fever and made sure she was going to take her medicine and finish all of it.  Left and headed for home. Praying for her to feel much better tomorrow.

3/16/16 Went to see movie "Miracles from Heaven"

I came home from the movie and looked at the fitbit competition and wow....I was ahead of Melissa.  Had to get a picture of this because it might not ever happen again.  Truth is, I got worried about her and started praying for her.  She just forgot to wear her fitbit though she said when I talked to her.

Went to Sportszone and walked 4 1/3 miles this morning.  Came home and Bill and I were eating breakfast when there was a knock at the door.  It was Ken Finney.  He used to come to our Faith Rider's meeting but hasn't for a while.  He rode his motorcycle out to Maine with us and when Bill ran out of gas, he had some in his bike for him.  We had a nice visit.  He moved to Coleman so can't make it to meetings much anymore.  Sold his bike too.  We headed to Goodrich Theater for the 1:35 movie.  We were meeting Charlie and Sue there.  We parked and the guy next to us knocked on Bill's window.  It was Tim and Cathy Krause.  They were seeing the same movie so we all sat together.  We were so happy to see them.  Got home and made sirloin burgers, baked potatoes and corn for dinner.  Went to teach kids care group and Tina and Chris had a huge cupcake on the cupboard and a sweet card for me for my birthday.  They also had me come to the kitchen when the kids were at worship for apple pie and coffee with good creamer.  I was one happy girl!..

3/15/16 Only 4 of us at breakfast this morning.

Mocha likes my blanket.  I try to keep her off of it but she made it on this time.  Naughty but cute

Max and his science fair project.  Great job Max!

Jack with his science fair project!  Great job Jack!
We drove separate to breakfast so I could go to Kroger's and then to Melissa's house.  Bill had to go to Shay's after to pick up water jugs.  Only Charlie, Andy, Bill and I were at breakfast this morning.  Our waitress sat us at a different table as our regular table was covered with plastic because there was a leak in the ceiling above it.  I had oatmeal with raisins and Charlie gave me some walnuts for in it too.  YUM!  I was happy because I forgot to pack my walnuts.  Picked up some gift cards from Kroger as they were quadrupled.  I took Melissa my fitbit so I could trade it for her black one for Kimmy to give one of the boys.  Watched Channel 5 news of the day Sam Merrill died.  Very sad and it had me in tears.  Sure will miss him on the news.  Praying for his family!  Max and Evan were home so I got to see them.  Got a call from Bill and he was picking up Vikki to take her to pick up a dog kennel in Midland.  I met them at Kroger's and we filled his truck and most of the tank in my car. Got $1 off so it was at total of $27 for 35 gallons.  Happy Happy!
Sure love Mocha's haircut Kimmy.  So easy to take care of, especially with her new brush.
Vikki had me come out back when they got her to see the Kennel.  It is so nice and what a blessing that she got the blocks to go with it.  Lots of hard work but sure was the right price.  Thankful she has a wonderful dad to help her.  It looks so nice all put together.  I stayed home as I had to clean the house and get ready for care group.  Did some walking so I could make my goal.  Care group was wonderful.  Everyone had lots of input.  The lesson was on joy.

3/13/16...Went to the Army Reserve today

Bill preaching at the Army Reserve

Love how Isaac Worships
Joel at Pizza Hut with us for lunch

Picked up cutie Lennox to keep till Vikki gets home tonight

Lenny is laying in the chair with me sleeping away
I got up at 6 to get ready for the service at the Army Reserve.  Good thing I was up early.  The lady that was supposed to do the worship called and said she wasn't going to be able to make it, so I picked up a couple of songs and got the lyrics on line and ran copies off to take.  Bill did a great job!  We went to church after that. Isaac sure did worship.  Love the picture Vikki took so I borrowed it.  Paul Nelson gave a good message.  After church we went to visit  Bill Mallory at Covenant.  He had his gall bladder out and had complications.  He went in on Tues. morning and is going home today.  Jackie Facebook messaged me last night to see if we would go pray for him because she was worried about him and is in Tennessee.  We had a nice visit and prayer time and then went to meet Joel at Pizza Hut.  Riversbend was  dropping him off.  We had a nice time with him and the pizza sure was good.  After we were done, we came home.  At 3:15 I left to go get Lennox from Vikki's.  He is being really good other than he loves Bill to pieces and won't let him be.  Go figure.  I am keeping him by me now because Bill doesn't like dogs by him.  He doesn't know what he is missing.

3/12/16....Field and Stream Dinner

So nice out I hung clothes out to dry

I hung pictures on my clothespin hanger from Vikki

Bill and I at the Field & Stream Banquet.

Bill being silly getting his picture taken with Gary

We got up early to go over to Denise Martin's so Bill could fix her light.  It ended up being the ceiling fan light that was broke, so he took it down and she is getting a new light fixture.  Came home and the mailman brought a package and our mail to our door.  It was something dad had ordered.  He came in and gave me my new fitbit one.  Sooooooo happy!  Hung clothes out since it was so nice.  Love how they smell when they come in off the line.  We got ready and left at 4:30 to go to the Field and Stream Banquet.  (No steps tonight)  We sat with Charlie and Sue, Kenny and Kitty, Gary and Dorthy, and Ken Zorn and a friend were supposed to sit with us too.  Ken came to our table and by the time everyone stops to talk to him he never got to even sit and eat.  The young guy with him sat next to me.  He was nice and was from Hemlock.  Lived on the corner of Hemlock and Tittabawassee Rd. He was homeschooled, but then went to Hemlock school in 6th grade.  He used to go to Community Baptist and now goes to Hopevale Church.  We had a good talk about the Lord and I also was able to share about Melissa's miracle with him.  He showed me pics of his 2 year old son and he was so proud of him. He was there because he is an intern in Lansing for politics and is helping Ben Frederick who is running for Senate in Richland Township.  The food was really good.  They drew dad's ticket and he won a popup canopy...really nice.  I won a red adult life jacket from Cabella's.
It was after 10 when it was over.  Came home and set all of our clocks ahead.  Then we went to bed.
