6/17/16....Kimmy and the boys came over to spend the day. Made a meal for Stacey and Brian

We were surprised and happy when Kenzie stopped in.  Mocha jumped in her lap when she called her.

Eli had fun riding this

Adam and Jacob were great helpers today

They helped Papa wash his motorcycle then Kimmy got a van wash

Got up and started making rolls right away.  Then I browned some round steak and then mixed it with cream of chicken soup in the crockpot.   Kimmy and the boys got here.  Kenzie stopped in and  showed her car to Kimmy and got her clothes and Build a Bears from upstairs.  She put everything in bags and then was coming back for them after she went to Omi's.  The boys played with legos for a long time.  Kimmy helped me peel potatoes and then look over strawberries.  I put them in the Ninja and mashed them in there.  So easy.  Kenzie stopped back over to get her stuff.    We all helped carry stuff out for her.  Jacob and I had the rest of my perch for lunch.  He tried a half piece to see if he liked it.  He did and then he asked for the other half.  So happy this little fisherman likes fish.  Made sandwiches and then the boys had ice cream bars and Kimmy and I had strawberry shortcake.  After that we watched Miracles from Heaven with the Amazon Stick.  Adam and Eli were a little worried and Eli even had tears.  We kept telling them there would be a miracle and she would be ok.  They have sensitive little hearts.  I always need Kleenex when I watch it.  Kimmy left and I packed up the round steak & gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and stuff for strawberry shortcake and took it to the church for Brian and Stacey.

6/16/16 Went to Detroit for Dad's MRI. Afterwards went to see Jeanette Sheler and take her and her hubby out to eat. She just had shoulder surgery yesterday

We went to the Amish Store and Cafe on our way to see Jeanette and Mark

Took this picture when we were leaving after picking up Mocha from Vikki's.  Love Lenny looking out the Window

We left at 7:30 for Detroit.  It was raining out.  We got in a few traffic backups but made it in plenty of time.  Bill  asked me to pray there would be a cancellation so he could have both MRI at one time instead of going back for the second one at 6.  We prayed and then went in the hospital.  We went to the radiology department and they told Bill there he couldn't have the MRI's at the same time.  Bill went back to have the MRI on his back and then I heard the technician telling a lady that her dad couldn't have and MRI because he has wires in the area needing the MRI and there was metal.  They couldn't figure out why his dr. would even send him for one.  Well, he was the appointment after Bill, so Bill got to have both MRI's together.  Thank you Jesus!  I did feel bad for the poor man who couldn't have one though.  While we were at the hospital, we got a message from Gayle Dewey, our state Coordinator's wife from CMA.  She was trying to get people from Faith Rider's to fix some meals for our Rep., Jeanette Sheller who had shoulder surgery yesterday.  We were going to do Sunday, but Bill thought we might as well go there while we were on our way home.  They live in Sandusky.  We went to the Amish store on our way.  I sure wish it was closer.  They had everything and such good prices.  Wish I could have had a cooler to get some of their meat.  Their round steak didn't have any fat on it.  We did get some frozen salmon because we thought it would make it till we got home.  We got to their house at 4:30, visited a while, went out and saw all of their baby chicks they hatched.  They have 60 some chickens, 40 are babies, and they have 3 turkeys.  We went to a Mennonite Restaurant to eat. We had perch and it was very yummy.  We stopped at Vikki's to pick up Mocha on our way home.  Thank you Vikki for always watching her and being such a blessing.
Watched Miracles from Heaven and then went to bed.

6/15/16....Went to Melissa's this morning to watch stay with Evan, Hailey, Conner and his sister

Hailey was fun to hang out with and was such a great helper today

I made strawberry freezer jam today

Dropped Mocha off to Vikki's for her to watch tomorrow. Peyton and Isaac showed me all of their many tricks.  Peyton loved the rings I bought for her at a garage sale

Bill walked at the Sports Zone this morning.  I went to Melissa's to watch the kids while she took Jack and Max to an appointment.  Connor's mom dropped he and his sister off so I watched them till Melissa got home too.  They were all really good.  I wish I would have taken a picture of them while I was there, but I forgot.  I brought Hailey home with me to hang out and to help me with some things.  She vacuumed, dusted, cleaned the makeup table upstairs really good (it was a mess from Kenzie) and she helped go through things from the attic.  We went to Taco Bell for lunch, then to Jack's so I could pick up some meat to make a meal for Brian and Stacey Friday.  We also went to Aldi's for a few things I needed.  Got some ice cream bars there too so we had a yummy snack at home.  Went to drop Stuff off at Salvation Army, then to the $ Tree Store for some cards.   I got a candy bar and she got M & M peanuts.  We went to Walmart to take pop cans back and plastic bags to recycle.  Picked up some Sure Jell, cool whip and garbage bags.  Came home and mashed up strawberries for strawberry Jam and Strawberry shortcake.  Use the Ninja and it worked great.  Hailey watched Little House Shows while I made the Jam.  Dennis Watkins came to drop a gift card off for Brian and Stacey so we asked him to stay for Spaghetti, string beans, garlic toast and strawberry shortcake.  He stayed which was nice.  Bill got ready and went to his Marine Corp League meeting and I took Hailey home and took Mocha to Vikki's.  Got nice hugs from Melissa's kiddos and more nice hugs from Peyton and Isaac when I got there.  Helped Vikki tear aid her treadmill. Came home and rested my leg.  Bill left the extender on the hitch when he took the bike rack off.  It sticks out quite a ways.  Well when I went to put the groceries in at Aldi's, I hit it a good one with my leg. Ouch!  After we got home, I went to take Bill's motorcycle tire out of the trunk and hit it again.  That time I called it stupid so had to apologize to Hailey.  Got another big sore right below the first one.  OUCH, DOUBLE OUCH!  Watched Gilligan's Island with Bill and then the News and then went to bed.

Nana and her sweeties

We went to our breakfast this morning.  There were 11 of us there.  After we were done, we stopped at Melissa's to drop off Jack's soccer ball he left at the campground.  Melissa was excited to show us Peyton, Hailey and the kids she babysits on The News.  It was so cute.  It was of them painting  and making things at the art museum.  We came home and I hoed the garden for 45 minutes before we had to leave for Detroit.  At 11 we left to go to Bill's appointment at the VA Hospital.  They had him schedule another MRI for Thursday to rule out a tumor causing his ear problem.  The dr. thinks it is Tenitus. (sp)  He had another MRI scheduled for 9:30 on Thursday and now they added this one at 6pm.  We will go spend the day waiting at Auburn Hills Great Lakes Crossing.
I finished calling people in our care group and making up a list of people making food for Brian and Stacey and delivering it.  Excited to meet their sweet baby boy.
When we got home, we went to Vikki's so Bill could till the garden.  I took a few things for her to plant and Vikki and I worked on raking the garden and planting.  It looks nice.  She will plant the rest of the stuff she wants tomorrow.  Peyton and Isaac sure loved helping and worked hard.  Isaac is amazing!  We loaded the futon while we were there and took it to Kenzie in Midland.  Came home and worked on the blog.  Going to bed early as I have to be up by 6:15 to get ready to go watch Meliss's kids in the morning.  Another fun day ahead!

6/13/18 Left the campground today...

Well, I forgot my fit bit at home yesterday so haven't had it on yesterday and half of today.  Bill had an appointment so I filled his coffee mug and he left at 8 a.m.  I started packing up the camper. Had to pack the refrigerator  stuff in a cooler and pack the clothes and other things needed at home in the car because we are leaving the camper at RV world to have the element in the hot water heater changed.
I got everything inside done and it started sprinkling a little so I went outside and folded both big outside rugs up so they wouldn't get wet.  It only sprinkled a couple of minutes so I decided to go for a walk.  The pastor of the campground's wife was out working on washing her camper next door.  (without water).  She was using wax in a spray bottle that didn't need water.  She visited with me for a few minutes and then I went on a walk around the campground.  Sure missed having my fit bit on.  I was going to practice golfing, but putt putt wasn't open yet.  I made a sandwich and then dad came to take the camper and drop it off.  I loved this spot and sure hope we get the same one when we go back in a week.  Kenzie got her car.  It is really cute and very clean.  The people were so nice and made you feel like you knew them forever.  Their son, who Kenzie knows was so friendly and I was very impressed with him.  He is keeping the snow tires for her to buy so she has good traction for winter.  Her car is a red Ford Focus.  They said it's great on gas.  Omi and Ed are taking her to get insurance and plates on it tomorrow.  Now praying she can find a better job.  Papa had a good talk with her about the Lord.  Of course I was agreeing.  Love that girl!

Left the campground and went home to get ready.  We went to church.  Melissa and family were there and Rody, his brother, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac were there.  We left afterwards and headed for Frankenmuth.  We got to our spot where we always sit and someone had moved Debbie's rope and put up chairs.  Debbie was pretty upset with her but after dad and I talked to the lady she calmed down.  So glad because when Rody got there, he knew her husband and worked with him.  Her husband was nice and calm the whole time.  Everything worked out good and we all sat together like usual.  Bill and I walked down to get hotdogs as we hadn't eaten anything yet.  They threw more candy this year, but my favorite float wasn't in the parade.  It was the Frankenmuth Bible Church.  They always played wonderful worship music.  After the parade, we went to Debbie and Toms for our annual potluck and swim.  It was 80 degrees out and a beautiful day.  Our family all swam except Bill.  The water was warm and so nice.  We ate hot dogs, brats, Vikki's yummy potato salad, Kimmy's yummy eggs, Bruce's yummy baked beans, Rody's yummy banana pudding, my veggies and dip, german potato salad, taco salad, watermelon, butter horns, German chocolate cake, cookies, brownies and more.  It was such a fun day.  Kenzie and Trevor didn't come to the parade but made it to Debbie's to swim and eat.  Bill and I left there and picked up Mocha at our house, then left to come back to the campground.  We picked up some things and loaded the wood into the truck.  After that we went to play golf.  Bill won the first one and I won the second game.  We went for a walk after that, then came to the camper and played 3-13 and dice.
