Vikki's job was to handle the fire for cooking hobo dinners...there was only one log burning.  They weren't getting done so I moved them to the grill.  My fire was a little too hot so some were burned just a tad.  We needed Bill here to have it just right.

We had lots of fun playing dice with Jacob.  He won st 3-13!

Got up at 5:30 and headed home to get ready and go to Melissa's house to get Evan.  We were supposed to go pick Hailey up because Max and Jack had an appt at 8.  Hailey was at the church helping get things ready for VBS.  I was on my way to her house and called her to have Evan's car seat ready and she told me the teacher had dropped her off so I didn't need to come.  Went toMcDonalds and got a Egg McMuffin.  Came home and Bill had me read over the funeral he was doing today. Hoed some of the garden and around the house.  Watered the lawn and some plants.  Got ready and met Aunt Vikki at Logan's.  We had a very nice visit and meal.  We both ate salmon, a baked sweet potato and salad.  I gave her the book Joshua Code and she gave me a memo pad, notes and initial charms that were P's.  We went to the Christian Family Book Store afterwards.  Went home and got refrig studs and Mocha and headed up north.  Bill said the funeral went good.  Got up to campground and Vikki and Twins, Kimmy and boys and Debbie and Matthew were there.  Visited and then went to pool.  Made hobo dinners and then took Debbie to the pavilion for ice cream but they had just closed.  We went to the store then and got ice cream there.  Matthew was sweet and went in the store himself and got taffy sticks for Peyton, Isaac and Jacob.  We came back and had smores.  Then Debbie and Matthew left.  Vikki led them to the expressway and I had Peyton and Isaac get ready for bed quickly.  Jacob read the Jesus Calling Bible to them while I got Vikki's bed set up. Bacon is an amazing reader.  I prayed with them and then they went to bed.  They were sleeping by the time Vikki got back.  Jacob spent the night so we played dice (Vikki won) and 3-13 (Jacob won).  Very fun time with Jacob and he was vèry helpful.  

6/22/16 Fun with Bill in the morning. Missing my camping buddies!

We sat outside on this beautiful morning and read our Bibles and then ate breakfast

I had Mocha hooked to my chair on the rug.  Bill told me I should hook her where she could lay on the grass because she would like that better. He was right!  A couple of days ago he came home with cute dog shaped healthy treats for her.  Guess he starting to love his dog

The first game he beat me by 3 and the second game by 1.  Guess I will practice while he's gone!

Bill was pretty happy about beating me ad in 3-13.

My find at the resale shop today!

I had the pool pretty much to myself.  It was warm as can be.  No hesitation to get in the pool today!

Had the hot tub to myself too!

Bill and I went golfing at the putt putt.  He beat me both games.  We both got a hole in one on the second hole.  I got a hole in one on my hardest hole with the hill.  He still beat me by one for the game.

We played cards when we got back.  It was nice with no wind so we played outside.  We ate lunch after that and then he left.  He has to do a funeral at our church tomorrow.  Saturday he has to do an outside wedding in Pinconning.  

I went looking for a coffee thermos because mine fell out of the cupboard when Bill was trying to level the camper.  I opened the cupboard door and out it fell.  I went to look for one at Shopko but they didn't have any.  Went to get some groceries at Family Fare and noticed the thrift shop.  Went in and found a really nice one for $2.  I was pretty happy. Went to the pool when I got home.  It was so warm.  Loved getting in.  Swam for a half hour straight and got my exercise.  Went in the hot tub after that.  Came home and organized cupboards.

Ate left over salmon and potato salad and a regular salad for dinner. Went for a walk around the whole campground and then rode my bike around! Read my book and then watched a movie!

6/21/16...camping at Outdoor Adventures again

Bill had rehab this morning.  I went to our breakfast.  There were 8 of us there. Vikki had oatmeal with raisins and walnuts in it.  Stopped  at Melissa's for a few minutes.  Went to Aldi's to get a few things for camping.  We packed stuff up and left around 11:30.  Bill picked the camper

Up and I drove ahead to the campground to find a spot.  When I stopped to show my card , the guy said Hi Penny, you're all taken care of, go on in.  I didn't even have to get my card out.  Don't know how he knew my name.  The really good spots were all taken but after looking many spots over closely, we finally got a spot we liked down the little road with the circle.  We got parked and then we went to pay the guy for the hot water heater.  We had to get a new one, but it is so nice to have nice hot water and have it heated with electricity instead of using our gas.  We went to meet a couple in Standish that Bill is marrying.  They were real nice. Came back to the camper and I made potatoes and Bill cooked them on the grill.  He grilled salmon too.  It was delicious.  We went for a nice long walk around the campground.  Came back and played 3-13 and dice. Close games. He won cards by 1 point and I won dice by 250.  

6/20/16...Worked in the garden and got the weeds by the plants out. Then Bill tilled the rest of it. Took me to Fuzzie's for ice cream after that. YUM

Did laundry and hung it on the line.  It was pretty windy out and very humid and hot.  Got ready and then I heard a knock on the door.  Debbie surprised me and stopped in.  It was nice to see her, but would have been better if she called as I only had about 15 minutes and I had to leave as I was meeting Sue at Applebee's to celebrate her birthday, but we had a nice visit for those few minutes.  Left to go meet Sue.  We had a nice lunch.  Got the all you can eat soup and salad.  I also washed the electric blanket from our bed and hung it out on the line.  Packing it for the summer.  Took a short nap and then made cabbage buns and took them, a salad, and dessert to a friend in Faith Riders who broke her ankle and needs surgery.  Bill went to a city council meeting for the moving of the Vietnam Wall committee.  We worked on the garden and got the weeds taken care of.  Then Bill and I went to Mooney's but the line was out the door so went to Fuzzy's and had ice cream there.

6/19/16...Happy Father's Day to Bill and all of my son-in-laws! They are all wonderful godly father's who I am so proud of!

Went to church.  Melissa and her family and Vikki and her family (all but Kenzie) were there.  Pastor's sermon was really good.  Brian and Stacey brought the baby to church for the first time and did the baby walk around the church.  He is adorable.  After church they had donuts.  Bill and I got pizza's from G's and the kids all came with their pizzas.  It was in the 90's and very warm.  We ate and then the kids went through the sprinkler and slid down the slip n slide.  We adults visited on the deck in the shade.  Later on, we ate more pizza and then visited more.  We tried the tri-pod sprinkler  I got Bill for Father's Day.  It works so good and covers the whole garden and sprays from the outside of the garden so there is no mess.  Everyone left at around 7:45 and dad and I went to get gas after that to get our 50 cents a gallon off before the end of the month.  Came home and watched the movie "The Locket".
