3/25/18...Got sick after I went to bed last night. Didn't sleep much.

I went to bed last night and then had an upset stomach and didn't feel well at all.  Didn't get much sleep until morning.  I stayed home from church, still not feeling good, but feeling a little better. Only thing I did all day, was clean out fireplace insert so we could use it and washed sheets and hung them out.  Lazy day.  Can't wait to feel really good again and back to normal.  Thankful it's not worse though.

3/24/18...We had lots of fun at Season's of Refreshing

3/23/18...Got up early and shampooed the living room carpet with my new shampooer. It did an amazing job and was really easy. We packed and left for Jackson. Picked up Elaine on our way and she rode with us. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Very nice with a warm pool and nice room that was very clean.

The carpet got really clean and even some old stains came out.

Nice pool and Jacuzzi/  The pool temp was in the high 80's
Elaine, Bill, Dan, and Gayla were on teams for Family Feud.  We had lots of laughs.
Elaine on her team and Dan going up to join Bill on his team.

Bill, Dan, and Gayla playing.  Ziggy who we met at a bed and breakfast in Maine was the Show Host
Barb on her team

Elaine and Bill facing off.  The question was, What states don't have helmet laws.  They couldn't think of anything, but then Elaine said Alaska.  That was the wrong answer. They had to keep going  till someone guessed one.  It was funny because Michigan doesn't have a helmet law, but neither one thought out of that. Both teams won one and then they had a play off.  Elaine's team won two out of three

Bill does know how to use a vacuum.  Below is proof!  He did a great job helping clean up.  Our chapter was responsible for clean up on Friday night after pizza.

My new Bissell Shampooer

Melissa's kids only had a half day of school today.  I went to pick up Hailey and she helped me fill  eggs for our Easter egg hunt.  She sure was a great help.  We watched the movie "A Matter of Faith" together.  It was a really good movie.  I opened my front door to let the sun shine in because it was so nice outside and to my surprise, my shampooer was on the porch.  I only ordered it two days ago so it was a surprise.  I brought it in and put it together.  I took Hailey home and took some pictures when I dropped her off.  Forgot to take some of her filling eggs.

3/21/18..Bill went to the SportsZone. When he got home he told me he had gotten dizzy while there. I met Vikki at the vet, Picked Peyton and Isaac up from school, Picked Max, Jack and Evan from school. Taught my class,

Happy to see these kiddo's today.  Lucy is sleeping in her cage!

Hailey...She shadowed with a freshman at the high school she is going to.  She had a fun time and loved the school

Max and his smile that I love

My class eating their cookies!  Joan had them make these for large group tonight.  They rolled dough and put it around a marshmallow, then sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar.  Then they baked them and afterward when they ate them, the marshmallow was gone and there was a hollow space in the cookie.  It was to teach them about Jesus and how He was in the tomb and then gone.  He rose from the dead.  Great lesson and wonderful learning experience for the kiddos.

We had a fun relay race tonight in class.  There were two kids working together.  One had to put a bag down for the other kid to step on and then put a second bag in front of it.  They had to do it from one end of the classroom to the other and then change places and come back.  There were 4 kids on the team.  It was close every time.  They had so much fun doing this, but sure were tired afterward.  Love how they love praying when we have our prayer time.
I went to bed late last night, so slept in this morning.  Bill went to the SportsZone, but was dizzy while there.  I prayed over him when he got home and told me.  Vikki called and Lucy's cast came off.  She was at the vet getting a new one put on and they were charging her $35 for it.  She was very sad that they were doing that when it was their fault it didn't stay on.  I was heading there just to be with her and she called and said they were only going to charge her $25.  Still not right, but nothing she cold do.  They put one on and secured it to her back.  Lucy was having a very hard time getting around with it on.  I talked to her later and she was doing much better.   Vikki wasn't feeling good, so I picked the kids up for her.  They were so cute on the way home.  I went in for a few minutes to see how Lucy was doing, and Melissa called and asked if I could pick the boys up in fifteen minutes and either sit a the school or at Vikki's and wait for her to come get them.  I told her I would just take them to her house.  Hailey was at Valley Shadowing a sophomore and she had to wait for her to get out of class, plus take Celeste home.  She still beat me to her house.  The boys and I were talking about all of the miracles and things God had done and how we know He is real!  It was so wonderful hearing them so excited about Jesus.  I picked Evan up and took him to class wit h me.  He set up all the table and chairs for me.  He told me he just wanted to bless me.  What a sweetie.  We had a fun and great class.  Love my kiddos.

3/20/18...Went to breakfast, Went to get my friend Vikki a Birthday Card, Went to Ollies, Met my friend Vikki for lunch, Picked up a cake from Sam's, Had small group

Nice fire going today!  Really cold and windy outside today

Rich and my Birthday Cake and Cupcakes.  The little butterflies are rings.  The girls in my class will love them  when I put them in the surprise box.
Me and the beautiful birthday cupcake cake

Marie and Roy (She's in her 70's and Roy is in his 80's) came to small group early so they could give me a blessing for my Birthday.  They gave me this pretty shirt and this neckless and earring set.  So very sweet of them and made my day!

Kim Reminder brought me these chocolates she made....cute lipsticks, high heels, and roses .Also gave me the popcorn container with popcorn and Fritos in it.  She is always so sweet and always doing things like this for people in our church.

Went to breakfast.  Nice to see everyone again and especially nice to have Louise call all of us.  She is in Florida waiting to have an aortic valve replaced at 93 yrs old.  She sounded good but a little weak from being in the hospital.  She is going in a rehab today so they can get her stronger before they do the procedure in two weeks.
I stopped at Melissa's for a few minutes after breakfast.  Nora was there and is just so cute and sweet.  After I left her house, I went to get a birthday card for Vikki and also went to Ollie's to get some more stuff for the clothes basket we are filling to give away to my friend, Vikki's ministry.  Came home and packed up the clothes basket.  Lots of good stuff in it.  I took a picture of Vikki's present since it was too big to wrap, and put a dishcloth and scrubbie and fragrance thing it a gift bag with the pictures.  I met her at Applebees at 12:15 and we had potato soup and a half club sandwich. I had had their soup before I went to Florida and it was delicious, but this soup didn't have potatoes in it and it had a very funny taste.  We called the waitress over to ask her about it and she told us they had changed recipes.  We told her we didn't like it and asked for Onion soup instead.  It was much better.  We had fun visiting, praying and opening our birthday gifts to each other.  Her birthday is March 27, so we have always celebrated them together her.  She got me a beautiful picture frame box, a lightweight light up travel mirror, a 6 foot cord to charge my phone, a beautiful friend candle, a towel with He Has Risen written on it and some pretty small lotions for my purse.  Afterwards, I went to her brother's with her and helped her unpack her car and also unpacked the stuff I had in my car for her.  She loved her yard spinner.  Then I went home and remembered I needed a cake for tonight at small group.   I picked up a cake with cupcakes around it at Sam's Club for Rich and my birthdays.  We had a good small group.  Only 9 of us there tonight but it was sure a great lesson.  Love our small group and growing in the Lord together.

3/19/18 Went to the SportsZone, Went shopping,Went and walked through the new camper again at the dealers, Did Small Group Lesson

Went to the SportsZone and if felt good to walk there again.  I only walked two miles today.  Went shopping for my friend, Vikki's, birthday present.  I found a beautiful yard spinner at McDonald's Nursery. Also went shopping to get stuff to fill the clothes basket she wants the girls and I to fill for sex traffic victims.  I found really good deals and beautiful kitchen things for it that were on our list.  Bill and I went to lunch at Tony's and then drove to Kawkawlin to go through our new camper again.  After that, we went to the hospital to visit our friend who was in a motorcycle accident Saturday.  He is 47 years old and was riding on a country road and it jogged.  He got into some gravel and tried to correct it but couldn't.  He laded in the ditch.  All that was sticking out of the ditch was the Jesus emblem he had on the back.  His helmet flew off from the impact.  A friend was following him and had to do CPR twice on him.  A car stopped right away and called 911.  The flew him to St. Mary's and put him in NICU.   He had a fractured skull, a brain bleed, swelling and was pretty bruised up.  They induced a coma to help the healing process.  The dr. said if he wouldn't have had the CPR, he wouldn't have made it.  God sure protected him.  They believe he will be ok and recover fully. We are thanking God and continuing to pray.  We went in the waiting room and met his friend who saved his life afterward.  Came home and did our lesson for small group.

Yard spinner that I got my friend Vikki.  It glows in the dark.
