5/18/19 HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEETIE ADAM!. Called Adam and wished him Happy Birthday right away in the morning. Went to Melissa's to take Nora outside, Took Bill's walker with the seat on it to Louise for her to use. Picked up the boys and Hailey at school.

Happy Birthday to Adam!  He is so caring and sweet always.  Love how he helps with whatever Papa and I need him to do.  He sure brings lots of joy to our hearts.  Love his sweet smile and love him so much!
The eagle we go sit and watch was in our Township View!  I went there today and there was a car parked and the guy had a camera with a ginormous lens aimed at the eagle.

It was nice out, so I went to Melissa's to play outside with Nora.

Walked at SportsZone in the morning.  Went two miles.  Came home and made oatmeal for Bill and I.
I picked up Adam's Birthday present at Walmart and went to Melissa's at 10.  It was nice out so Nora was pretty excited to go outside.  We blowed bubbles.  Melissa blew the biggest one and I blew the one that went the farthest and highest.  Nora blew lots of little ones.  She loved being pushed on the swing.  We jumped on the trampoline.  I sure got my exercise doing that. After that, I took Bill's walker with a seat to Louise.  She was pretty happy to get it.  They were supposed to get her one while she was in therapy in Florida, but didn't.  They did have her practice walking with one though.  I found a couple puzzle pieces and put them in her puzzle.  Helped her make her bed and put the comforter on too.  Picked Hailey and the boys up from school.  When I got home, Bill was finishing cutting the grass.  I started unpacking everything in the camper and he came and helped me.  We went to Old Town Drive In and had coney dogs, fries and a root beer for our date night.  We went and walked through Lowes and then came home.

5/17/18...Went to Valley for the Music Fest. Spent the day there listening to the kids compete. They all did a great job. Left, went to Starbucks Drive through, took Melissa home and traded the van for my car, Hailey and I went and got the boys, Made perch, fried potatoes, peas and had strawberry shortcake for dessert. Went to Wes and Gayla's. Louise was there too

Hailey did a great job playing handbells

Hailey did great in her trumpet trio too

Hailey

I got to Melissa's house a 9 a.m. and spent some time there before we left for the Music Fest.  We went to hear the advanced choir first.  They sang beautifully.  I couldn't put videos on here but they are on facebook. We went to hear the advanced band after that and both Max and Hailey were in it.
They did great and sounded so good.  After that we got a pretzel and cheese and popcorn and split them and also pops.  Max was happy that his mom brought his tennis shoes. He was going back to school and wanted comfy shoes.  Hailey did great playing her trumpet in a trumpet trio, and also singing in her double duet.  They got all ones and one two.  One is the best they could do and 4 was the worst.  After each performance, a specialist in that field would critique them.  They would tell them what they did great at and then tell them what they could do to sound better.  Then they would have them do it.  It was amazing how the kids did what they said and sounded so great.  During lunch time, Melissa and I picked up Grand Turkey Club Sandwiches at Arby's and came to my house and ate and than rested afterward.  When we went back, I prayed for a close parking spot for Melissa.  Wow, we got one right in front of the door.  Our other spot was quite far for Melissa to walk.  Hailey wanted to see Amber sing, so we watched her and then left.  Hailey was done and came with us.  We went to Starbucks and Hailey and Melissa got frappes.  We dropped Melissa off at home and Hailey and I went to school for her to get her book bag and to pick up the boys.
I made perch, fried potatoes, peas and strawberry shortcake for dinner.  I called Louise to see if she wanted me to bring her some strawberry shortcake.  She said she was at Wes and Gayla's eating and having rhubarb pie. They invited us over to play cards.  We went and I took Louise strawberry shortcake for tomorrow.  We had fun visiting and playing 3-13.  I was the winner.

Me and Wyatt

Me, Jacob and Wyatt.  This soon to be teenager is taller than me now.  Soon I will be looking up to him.

I went to Krogers and got some groceries and a gift card for lunch.  Also got gas.  Sure don't like it being over $3 now.  After I got gas, I met Kay at Applebees!  We had a nice lunch and visit.  We saw Bev and Dave, and Roy and Marie as we were leaving and talked to them for a while.  I headed to Kimmy's after that.  Saw some eagles on my way.  It was a beautiful sunny 80 degree day.  We went for a walk when I got there so Wyatt could go potty and get some exercise.  We were happy to get steps too.  Wyatt would pick up sticks along the way.  He did a great job following Kimmy until he got tired and didn't want to move any longer.  He just sat down.  Kimmy was persistent and got him moving again.  He sure is a great puppy.  It is amazing how calm and well behaved he is for a puppy.  So sweet to hold.  Always gives me one sweet lick and then just sits nicely on my lap.  We went for a couple of more walks and sat on the swing for a while.  Had a nice visit inside too and got the boys birthday presents ordered.  Amazing that Adam will be 11 on Friday.  Time sure flies by.  Kimmy and I were sitting on the swing when the boys walked up the driveway.  They didn't see us, but Adam saw my car and said Nana's here and sounded really excited.  He sure made me happy.  I was glad to see the boys.  What great boys they are!  Came home and Bill was getting ready to go to the Marine Corp League meeting.  Vikki called and wanted to meet at Michaels to look for beads for her Aunt Vikki's bracelet she is making.  We ended up going to Hobby Lobby to find some she wanted.  Went to Tim Hortons and had bagels and oreo ice capps.  Came home and did the blog and then Bill got home.  Watched the news and went to bed.

Went to breakfast at Sullivans.  Louise came and we were all so happy to see her.  She is using a walker since she had an aortic valve replaced in Florida.  She is 93.  Becky, her daughter, brought her and it was nice to see her too.  Sandy was also back from Florida and at breakfast.  It was so nice seeing her too.  After breakfast, I went to Melissa's for a few minutes.  Nora was happy to see me and took me to see her dolls she was playing with and also to see Abby.  It was raining out, so I couldn't take her outside to play.  Melissa loves her huge hanging plants I picked up for them at the Mennonite Store for 2/$25.  They do look beautiful on her porch.  I went to Flint after that and met my friend Vikki at the Christian Book Store.  It rained on the drive there, but as soon as we came out of the book store, it stopped.  We went to Logan's for lunch.  Got there about 10 minutes early, so we just sat in Shane's car, which she was using, until they opened.  We both had Salmon, rice and shared broccoli and a veggie skewer. Our waiter talked us out of ordering asparagus because you only get 4 pieces for $1.99 and the other veggies, come with the meal.  Funny because after he left, we both said we would have paid that because we were hungry for it, but after he said that we didn't want to order it from him.  Ha Ha!  Should have just done it anyhow.  We had a nice visit during our lunch. Went to Ollie's and did some shopping after we ate.  I got home, and had about an hour before I had to pick Hailey up from school and take her shopping for a swimsuit.  Bruce got out early from his class, and he picked the boys up.  He waved to me in the line of cars.  Hailey found a cute swimsuit at the first store we went to which was Justice.  She had one picked out, and while she was trying it on, the girl working brought me three more she found in Hailey's size.  Hailey liked one of those ones.  She was so nice and Hailey really liked this one that she brought.  I took a picture to send Melissa to make sure she liked it.  She did!  Hailey and I went to Taco Bell after that and she got her usual Nacho Bell Grande with not tomatoes and extra sour cream and a lemonade and I got my usual double decker supreme.  We always get the same thing no matter how many times we go there.  I took her home and went in for a minute to see Melissa and the boys. Got home and went through more old pictures to get them organized.

5/14/18...Bill had some bone and root of his tooth that was infected removed. Had a hard time eating, but otherwise did pretty good.

Walked at the SportsZone, but could only do a quick mile as I had to go get my hair cut at Catherine's.  We had a nice visit while she cut my hair.  Started going through old pictures that were in the attic and cleaning out the upstairs room.  Got quite a lot of things sorted.  Picked up Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan from school.  Vikki went to Kimmy's so their puppies could meet and play together.  Vikki said they did really good together.  She showed me a cute video.

5/13/18...Went to church...Went to Kimmy and Jared's, Played worship on our tv when we got home

While we were worshipping in church this morning, I Isaac went forward and worshipped up at the alter.  Vikki didn't even know he went up until he was there for a while.  Many hearts, including mine, were touched by the way he worships the Lord.

Bill and I
Me and my girls!  I am so blessed to be their mom and know how loving and sweet they are.  They are the best moms around too!  Godly examples who are training up their children to love the Lord and love others.  I love them with all my heart!

We went to church.  It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and in the high 60's.  Melissa and her family, Vikki, Rody and the twins, and Stacie and Kody were there.  We all set together.  During worship, we were worshipping and had our eyes closed and Isaac went up to the alter and worshipped with his hands lifted.  He has been a little worshipper of God since he was very young. Vikki didn't know he went up there at first.  Stacie saw him and took the amazing picture.  There were many comments of everyone's heart being touched at seeing him worship like he did.  I am one blessed and proud nana.  After church, we came home and picked up the sloppy joes, buns, and cheesy potatoes and went to Kimmy's.  Loved getting to see Kimmy's new puppy.  What a great personality he has.  Very laid back and loving.  We all ate and then had a nice time visiting, walking through the woods, the boys had a blast playing in the water.  I was blessed with a beautiful hanging plant from Melissa, Bruce and family, a beautiful beach towel which is huge and a pretty plant from Vikki, Rody and kids, and a beautiful Mug with tickets to Jacob's Midland Concert Band event nest Sunday in it.  What a nice surprise.  Lots of beautiful home cards from the kids and lots of beautiful and meaningful cards from the girls.  Stacie, DJ and Kody got me a beautiful Queen drinking cup with a straw built in.  Bill and I came home and watched Worship on the TV.  What a beautiful, fun and blessed day it was.  I love my family!

At 7:30 a.m. I got a text from Kimmy saying they were just going in to Canada.  I tested her back and told her to send me a picture of the puppy as soon as she could.  They couldn't pick him up until 10 a.m.  I got a group message, and there were comments about how cute he was, but I didn't get the picture for some reason.  I texted her and said I would be at Melissa's in a couple minutes and would look at her picture.  Melissa showed me his picture right away and he is so adorable and a beautiful color.  Love the name Wyatt they picked for him.  Kimmy and Melissa both sent me the pictures then and they came through.  Can't wait to meet him tomorrow.  I picked Max up at 10:30 and we went to his Appointment in Case City.  We had a nice visit on the way there.  It was sunny and in the 50's, so it was a beautiful ride.  I took Max in and then left and went to a cafe Bruce told me was good.  I had a mushroom swiss burger and fries.  Sat there for about an hour and then walked across the street to the Drug Store.  It was huge and had lots of nice stuff in it.  I got the glass flour in the picture above there.  After that, I went to the Bulk Food Store in Snover and walked through all the aisles.  I got some cookies for tomorrow there, some feta cheese for me and Bruce, and a pie for me and Melissa and family.  Don't usually buy pies but these were $7 and looked very yummy.  I got a beautiful hanging plant there for 12.99, and then tried to FaceTime Melissa to see if she wanted me to pick up some for them.  Bruce called me back and said she was taking a nap.  I told him about the deal and he said to send him a picture.  I did and he said to get as many as I could fit.  (They were 2 for $25)  I got three more huge ones.  I went back to Cass City and picked Max up.  Jeremy brought him out and he was very nice.  I signed him out and we were on our way.  We went through the drive through at McDonald's and Max got a happy meal and a shake and I got a cheeseburger and a frappe.  He told me all about his time at his appointment and said he saw me when they walked to the dollar store.  We had another nice visit on the way home.  He loves his appointments here and they are helping him so much.  He sure is a blessing!  When I dropped him off I gave Bruce the plants and he hung them right away.  He was pretty happy that they were so big and cheap.  Melissa loved them too.  It's hard for her to get around right now, so I asked if she just wanted   to buy the other one I had in my car and give it to me from their family for Mother's day.  She was so happy to because she has had so much going on and this was going to save her time and energy.  I offered because their tradition for Mother's day is to get me my hanging plant.  Hers looked beautiful hanging on her porch and when I got home I hung mine and it looks beautiful.  It was such a nice day and I was so happy to offer to take Max so Bruce could have some time to get things done at home before his Washington D.C. trip with Hailey and her class.  Good bonding time for Max and I too.
