Beautiful birds on the feeder today

I got up early and put a roast, carrots and potatoes in the crockpot.  Also took some frozen Amish rolls out of the freezer and put them on a cookie sheet to thaw.  We met at 9 a.m. and started sorting baby clothes again.  It was just Joan, Kim, Stephanie, Cathy, Anna and I today.  It didn't take us long.  We were done at 10:30.  I stopped at Aldi and then went to visit John Wells at HealthSource.  He was eating lunch when I got there and was watching The Price is Right.  We visited some while we watched TV.  After I left there, I came home and made lunch and ate.  I went to pick up Max, Evan and Hailey at 2:30.  Jack had basketball.  I didn't know that, so I sent Evan in to get him.  That's when Evan came out and told me he had practice.  We headed over to get Hailey then.  I went in and visited with Melissa for a while and took some pictures.  Peyton called me and told me she asked Jesus into her heart today.  She was excited and so was I.  Isaac talked to me and told me he asked Jesus into her heart too.  I couldn't be happier.  That's the best thing they will ever do.  Sure love those kiddos.  I came home and baked the rolls.  Vikki came over because Rody and the kids were going to church and to care group. She ate dinner with us.  It turned out so yummy in the crockpot.  We ate cookies for dessert.  We were sad to hear the Alex Trebek has 4th stage pancreatic cancer.  We are sure praying for him to be healed in Jesus Name.  We relaxed for a while and then Vikki took me to Aldi to get a desk and bookcase they had for sale there.  I'm getting it for the upstairs bedroom as I am redoing it.  Vikki put one in the car and I helped her get the second one in.  Sure was happy to have her help me.  We came home and she and her dad got them upstairs for me.  Bill and I watched a Hallmark movie.

3/5/19...Went to breakfast, went to sort baby clothes for Life Clinic, Had Care Group at Great Lakes Rehab

My Amaryllis is starting to take off now!  Yay

We ladies from New Life had fun together sorting baby clothes for Life Clinic. Anna Lewis, Phyllis Passeriello, me, Kris Hammerbacher, Erin Galsterer, Kim Mack, Kathleen Cronin, Stephanie Smith and (Joan Cline took the picture)

Diane, Roy, and James

Vikki shaved Lenny.  Looks like one of Kimmy's sheared sheep!

We went to breakfast.  Wes, Gayla, Mike, Mary, Dennis, Bill and I were the only ones there today.  I had to leave at 9 to go sort clothes at Furbringer School for Life Clinic.  I took Bill's truck, and he took my car to go take Melissa to therapy for me.  We had 9 of us ladies from church sorting.  There was no heat or water in the building.  They had electric heaters going in the room, but they tripped the circuit, so quit.  We all had dressed warm and kept our coats and gloves on while we worked.  The maintenance man stopped in the room and told us to put one heater on one end of the room and the other on the other end.  He reset the circuit breaker and we had heat in the room.  Not real warm, but much better.  Kathleen brought donuts and bagels and we had coffee.  We all worked well together and had fun doing it.  We got 90% of it done and will finish tomorrow.  I came home and finished my lesson for tonight.  Bill and I left early for care group.  We went to Subway first and had a sub for dinner.  A police officer came in and I thanked him for what he does and told him how much we appreciate what he and other policemen do for us.  He was so nice and talked to us for a while.  We paid for our meal and told the guy we wanted to pay for the policeman's too.  Well the policeman only ordered 3 cookies.  The guy told him his was paid for.  I told him he should get a sub too, but he was just getting a snack to hold him over till he went home for dinner.  We had gotten cups for water and the guy working told us to get any pop we wanted in our water cups.  He was blessing us I think because we blessed the policeman.  So happy we went there because the whole thing made our day.  We went to Great Lakes Rehab and had our care group. Bill got Roy and brought him in the wheel chair, and Diane brought James in his wheelchair. We had a good study and lots of discussion on how important God's Word is and how it is our responsibility to read it and obey it with the Holy Spirit's help. Amen to that!

3/4/19...Walked at SportsZone, Took Max to Orthodontist, Went to Trinity Rider's Chapter Meeting

Got up at 5:30 so I could spend my time with the Lord before things got busy.   Walked two miles with Bill at the SportsZone.  Came home and made oatmeal and coffee for breakfast.  I picked Max up from school at 9:40 and took him to his orthodontist.  He had some broken wires from his herbs device and screws from it were missing.  They took the device out and put rubber band holders in.
It was a two hour appointment, so I went to Jacks and got thistle seed and then came home.  Worked on my lesson and also got the Newsletter out for Faith Riders.  Went back at 12:15 and  at 12:30, Max came out.  He was pretty happy to have the rubber bands in. We went to McDonalds and I got him a happy meal.  He was a little worried about getting the rubber bands back in right, but I had him look in the mirror so he would know ho to hook them back in.  He ate and then we sat in Aunt Vikki's driveway,  she's just down the road from his school,  and he ate lunch and then he put the rubber bands back in.  Didn't take long at all.  I dropped him back off at school and then went back home.  Finished my lesson for Care group and Bill and I went to Trinity Rider's Chapter meeting.  It was nice seeing everyone!  Wes and Gayla went too.  The roads in the country had lots of icy spots that were very slick.  We saw an accident on Mackinaw.  We came home and watched a Hallmark Movie.

My Amaryllis is just starting to take off.  Let the fun begin!  My mom and dad used to love watching these plants grow.

Went to church early to get ready for my class.  Prayed over each chair and prayed for my kiddos that I would be teaching.  Worship was amazing this morning.  Had 11 kids today and for the first time 2 helpers.  Kris, my usual helper and Paige a student helper.  It was a great class other than we had a new child who had autism and was out of control. When we did our activity, he quickly got marker all over his shirt, all over him, all over the table and then all over the wall.  He was ripping up any paper he could get his hands on.  I brought him to stand next to me, but he went down on the floor, so Kris took him to have one on one time.  I taught my class and they were all very good during all of this.  Finally Kris said we should have him go with his parents because he was being so difficult.  While she went to get Heidi, my class and I prayed over him. That calmed him some, but when we were done praying he was back at it.  I felt so bad.  This is the first time I have had to have a child go to his parents.  I have been praying for this little sweetheart since then.  I was very proud of my other kids.  They stayed focused, Declan helped pick up all the papers the little guy ripped up.  I sure gave my helpers hugs and thanked them.  After church, we came home, change into warm clothes and then left to go to the Court House to Pray with Faith Riders for our nation.  It's the Christian Motorcycle Association's National Day of Prayer.  Thankful we can't talk to God and lift up our nation.  We went to Fuzzie's for lunch afterwards.  Wes and I had stromboli's and everyone else had breakfast.  We had fun visiting.  Came home and took naps on the loveseat recliners.  Watched When Calls the Heart.

Looks like Abby likes Hailey's new rug a lot too

Charlie picked Bill up and they went to the men's breakfast at First Assembly with Kevin.  When Bill got home, we went to Jack's game.  Jack played great and so did his team.  I was so happy when he made a basket and I got it on video.  He was so excited that when he ran down to the other end of the court, he was jumping in the air and running in place in the air.  So cute to see him so happy.  I wish I would have still had my video going.  They won their game so that's nice.  Ginny is going a great job coaching them.  We told Bruce we were going to see Run the Race and he said Hailey really wanted to see that movie.  I texted Melissa to see if Hailey wanted to go with us.  She said Hailey was so excited and jumping up and down.  So happy she wanted to go with us.  We came home and relaxed for a while and then I went to Aldi's to get some groceries.  I saw a beautiful turquoise soft rug that I thought would go great in Hailey's room, but wasn't sure of the color.  I picked Hailey up and went in and saw everyone.  On our way home we stopped at Aldi's and I showed Hailey the rug.  She loved it and thought it would match perfect.  It was only $10 and was a pretty nice size.  We got it and then headed home.  Bill got ready and we left for Midland.  We met Amy and Dennis at the Mongolian Barbecue.  It was Hailey's first time going there.
We fixed our bowls and gave them to the cooks.  It was fun watching them cook them on the grill.
We got to talk to a nice Christian couple who sat at a table close by.  They saw us praying and commented.  Dennis and I got our free Birthday brownies.  YUM!  We went to the Midland Cinema after that and got recliner seats.  So nice and comfy.  The movie was really good even thought it had some sad parts.  Such a fun night!

Got the boys ready, lunches packed, and Vikki picked them up for school.  Hailey and I visited until her ride came.  I shared how I came to the Lord with her.  She left and I did some cleaning and finished laundry.  I want Melissa to be able to relax when she gets home.  I took a shower and got ready when I got home.  Bill and I went and met his brother, Fred, for lunch at Kathleen's at Apple Mt.  We all had egg salad sandwiches and organic chicken noodle soup.  It was delicious.  We had such a nice visit.  Fred is always so kind and caring.  Dr. Galsterer was eating there too.  After his business associate left, he came and gave us hugs and visited with us for about 15 minutes.  He was so nice, one of my favorite people from church.  He knew some people from Rehman Financial that Fred knew.  We left and came home.  I left to go pick up the boys, and Bill went to visit Roy at the rehab.  He has to be there two more weeks.  Melissa called and told me they were in Dundee, Mi.  Yay, I was so happy.  They are coming to the Fun Fair.  We picked up Hailey.  Bill came to the house and brought the left over theater popcorn from last night.  Melissa and Bruce got home, and the kids were very excited to see them.  They ran out the door to greet them.  Bill and I were happy to see them too.  We left and came home to drop the truck off, so we could ride to the Fun Fair together.  We had a great time there.  Bill got one hot dog and a pop right away. We saw the Beemer family and then Bruce, Melissa and the kids got there.   We walked around for a while, then went and ate.  Sat and talked for a while with Melissa and Mikayla's mom.  Mr. Parks, Max's teacher, came up to Melissa in the hallway and told her he had a great week and was happy and doing great work.  I told him that's because I was staying there....just kidding of course.  Vikki face timed me and showed me Peyton and Isaac swimming.  I was so happy she, Rody and the kids could have a fun night out.  They are staying at the Comfort Inn Suites (the kids first time) and having a great time.  Bill and I went to Kody's Birthday Party for a while.  He was so cute and we had lots of fun.  Happy to be Home Sweet Home!  I am a home kind of person.
