It was a great Mother’s Day!  Went to church! Melissa and her family was there and Vikki,Rody, Peyton and Isaac were there.  After church, each family got pizzas, and we met at Kimmy and Jared’s to eat together and celebrate Mother’s Day.  So thankful for wonderful daughters who are such great moms to my grandkids.  God sure has blessed me!
We went outside by the nice fire Jared had going and visited.  It was pretty cool out so the fire felt good.  Rody took some great drone videos of Kimmys neighborhood.  We went back inside and visited more.  After Vikki, Melissa and Families left, Kimmy, Jared, Bill, Jacob and I played 3-13.  I won and was negative. Bill had a high score and ripped up the score sheet.  Adam was trying to piece it together and rewrite it when we were leaving!  We went out and looked at the turkeys before leaving for home.  The girls and their families went in together and got me some beautiful muck boots.  They don’t get here until tomorrow, but I saw a picture. They are so nice! Can’t wait to get  them!  What a great gift!  I love my family and am blessed with the best!  God is so good!  What a day!

Slept in.  Washed sheets and hung them on the line outside.  Bill worked on adding some LED lights to his motorcycle.  Melissa called at 10:30 and said the boys had a track meet at 11.  I went out to the shed and told Bill.  We hurried and got ready and went.  The kids Grandma Brenda and Papa Dan were there too which was nice.  It was cool and windy, but we all had fun together.  The boys did a great job running.  After Jack's last race, we left and came home to get ready to go to Salena's Quinceanera.  Bill cut some of the grass before he got ready.  The ceremony at church was beautiful and she celebrated becoming a woman and made a decision to follow Jesus and put him first.  We came home and Bill finished mowing the grass.  I took the clothes off the line, put my dehydrated strawberries away, and sewed my coat.  At 5, we went to the Quince party at the SportsZone. It was so fancy, like a beautiful wedding reception.  The Mexican food was amazing and so was the dessert.  We sat with friends from church and had fun visiting.  Manuel and Izabel were there (she is Ralph's cousin).   I went and sat with them for a while and we caught up on each other and our families.  They went to school with the girls and I was the secretary so got close to all the kids.  I was so happy to see them and spend time with them.  Vikki took Isaac to the ER because he has been having pain around his waist.  He was doubled over tonight and crying a long time.  I am waiting to hear from her.  Praying and waiting...

Friday, 5/10/19...Went to Melissa's, Found out our good friend Rich has stage 4 lung cancer, Shopped for Wes's Birthday gift, Vikki got my fitbit to charge for me, Went to Wes and Gayla's

The closest end of the front porch was covered with lots of stuff the birds were making nests with.  I swept tons up one day.  Vikki told me the birds would have cleaned it up.  The next day, the porch was covered with even more stuff.  What a mess.  I decided to just leave it.  Today when I looked, I noticed the porch was very clean.  I asked Bill if he swept it and he said no.  Guess the birds cleaned it up just fine.  I was amazed!  Wish I would have taken a before picture.

Got  to Melissa's at 6:15 so I could go upstairs and wake the kids up for her.  She can't go up the stairs yet.  I woke them all up by singing to them and having them pop up like toast in the morning.
They were pretty tired, but got up and got busy getting ready.  I was happy to see Melissa could walk, even though it was painful, it was better than yesterday.  She made Jack and Evan protein shakes, and packed lunches.  I was pretty amazed at the difference from just yesterday.  Vikki picked them up and took them to school.  I took Hailey to school and then came home.  I told Melissa to call me if she needed me.  I went and picked up a few goodies for Wes's Birthday.  I couldn't get my new fitbit to charge, so I took it to the school Vikki works at and met her in the parking lot.  She brought her charger and it showed the battery.  Then she put my charger on it and it started charging.  Got home and finished charging it and it is working fine.  I had it on my charger all night last night and it didn't charge.  What would I do without my girls.  They are always there to help me.  I texted Melissa while I was across the street at the school to see if she wanted me to come do anything and she didn't.   I got home and Melissa called to see if I could pick up the kids.  I said yes, but then Vikki called me and I totally forgot to set my alarm.  I started cutting up strawberries to dehydrate them.  I got a text from Melissa saying not to forget the kids, but when I looked at the clock I was already 20 minutes late.  I took off fast, stopped to get Hailey first, then went to get the boys.  Hailey sat in the car and I went in.  Mr. Paviligo was just coming out the door with his kids and let me in.  He told me they were in latch key and I could go downstairs and walk through.  I went downstairs and walked through to the other room, but didn't see anyone.  I went back upstairs and rang the buzzer to go down the hall to the gym.  No one came to the door.  I walked back to the other hallway and saw a guy walking toward the door.  I asked if he knew where the kids were.  He took me back downstairs and then walked across the other room and checked outside.  That's where the boys were.  He told me I could just drive around and pick them up.  I did that and found them.  The lady in charge asked me for ID because she didn't know me.  I showed her my license.  She said she had tried to call Melissa, but couldn't get an answer, so left a message with Bruce.  Bruce called right as I was showing my ID.  The boys got their book bags and got in my car.  I don't think I will ever forget again.  I took them home and went in and talked to Melissa for a while.  Came home and Bill and I ate out left over pizza from last night.  Got a letter n the mail from a good friend of ours who let us know that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and also has a mass on his abdomen.  He had to retire from his firefighter job at the airport.  So sad he and his family have to go through this.  We are praying in agreement with them for a miracle from God.  We went to Wes and Gayla's to celebrate Wes's Birthday.  Chuck and Sue came too.  We played SkipBo and then had Homemade German Chocolate Cake and ice cream.  Bill didn't eat cake because he doesn't like coconut.  It sure was delicious.  It was so nice to see Joel there too.  Such a fun night.  Wes won the first game and Gayla won the second game.

I slept until time to wake the kids up at 6:20.  Woke them up and got my hugs.  They got ready for school quickly and ate their breakfast.  Vikki came to pick them up.  I took Hailey to school and then came home.  Ate oatmeal for breakfast.  Rested, then read my Bible.  Bill had an appt. at the VA.  I picked Isaac and Peyton up from school because Vikki had a dentist appt.  Bill and I filled up our vehicles with gas at Krogers.  We got our $1 off 35 gallons at Krogers.  Melissa was home but in lots of pain, so we went there so I could help her if she needed something.  Vikki came and picked up the kids and visited for a while.  Bruce brought Max and Evan home, and took Jack to his track meet in Frankenmuth.  I picked Hailey up from school.  Got her Taco Bell, and Melissa and the two boys happy meals.  Came home and got ready so Bill and I could go to our Faith Riders Chapter meeting at 6.  We ate and then the meeting started at 7.  23 were there.  Good meeting and fellowship.  Watched the news and went to bed.

Walked with Bill at the SportsZone. Came home and ate oatmeal for breakfast.  Went to Melissa’s and visited a while before e left for therapy.  Raked some leaves off from some plants coming up in the woods.  Picked Melissa up.  Took her a turkey sandwich I made and a Molasses cookie.  She was happy.  She’s always hungry after four hours of therapy.  I took her home and got some raspberry plants from her yard.  Came home and planted the raspberries.  Bill and I went to Logans for dinner.  Picked Vikki up and went to Max, Jack and Evans school extravaganza.  They did such a great job playing their instruments.  Sue came too.  We all loved it!  So sad that Jacob and Adam's concert was on the same night.  Wish I could have been in two places.  This was the first concert for Max, Jack and Evan, so I went there since I've been to Jacob and Adam's other concerts.  Can't wait to see Kimmy's videos.  Great news! Avoree got baptized! Tina put the video on.  I am so happy! Thank you Jesus!

Tues. 5/7/19...Went to breakfast, Visited John, Picked muffins up and delivered to church, Planted more plants outside

Love my mom's daffodils

Visited John and celebrated his 82nd Birthday
Bill and I went to Breakfast at Sullivan's.  I took some Molasses cookies for Charlie and Sue.  He told me yesterday, he was looking for nice big Molasses cookies at the store and couldn't find any.  I told him I had just got some from the Mennonite Store in Snover and would share.  He was pretty happy.  When we left there, Charlie rolled down his window and showed me that he was eating a cookie.  Made me smile!  We came home and read our Bibles.  Charlie came to pick Bill up to go with him.  I called Sue to see if her hubby could have a cheeseburger and fries from McDonalds.  She said he could, so I went and picked it up and went and had lunch with him.  He had told me that was what he wanted for his birthday.  He was so happy.  I took him a Molasses cookies too.  I visited with him about an hour, and then went to pick up muffins and donuts from Tim Horton's.  I dropped them off at the church as they are doing a breakfast at a school here, and wanted people to drop off muffins or donuts.  Called Louise when I got home.  She is out of the hospital and doing better.  She was having trouble breathing.  She is 94.  The doctor took her off some new medication she was on and it has helped her lots.  Called Marie to check on her and Roy.  Roy got a great report and the doctor said he is doing amazing 10 weeks after breaking his femur.  Said he can walk without the walker now. Yay!  He's 84 and that is amazing healing from the Lord.  I transplanted some more plants.  Watched a movie and read some on my book.

Monday, 5/6/19...Walked 2 miles, Did some yard work, Picked Peyton and Isaac up from school, Rody and Vikki came over

Rody and Isaac

Peyton

Bill and I walked two miles at the SportsZone.  Our neighbor, Sue, walked with us.  I went to Jacks and Aldi's for some stuff to make Tacos.  Bruce's tacos were so yummy yesterday, I decided to make some.  I did some yard work outside.  So nice to see all the plants popping up.  At 2:15, I went to pick Peyton and Isaac up from school.  It was raining so we used the umbrella.  The kids played at my house while Vikki went to her doctor appt.  Vikki came over after her appt.  I told her to see if Rody wanted to come over and we could all eat tacos.  She called and he came.  Vikki helped me make the tacos.  We ate and than visited for a while.  Bill and I watched Jeopardy and then When Calls the Heart.  I called Hailey to make sure she didn't miss it, and to find out how she liked last night's episode.  Of course she liked it.  Bill and I both read our books until bedtime.
