Day 39, 4/23/2020, Walked, Finished my online class for Sunday School, Zoomed with Elaine and Cheryl

BayShore put these pictures on and said the wind has blown the water in close to the back road. Hard to believe.   Many years ago, there was a beach right by that road

This is Roberta's walk we walk out over the water on.  The water is right up by it now.  It was way out and then every year gradually got closer, but this year is amazing
We had yummy fresh fruit this morning for breakfast

Beautiful pen Bill made for me today out of wood
507 cases, 38 deaths
We watched the morning Devotion on Psalm 49. It was another great one.  I cut up a pineapple, bananas, an orange, an apple, and added blackberries, and blueberries to make us each a fruit bowl for breakfast.  So yummy.  We read our Bibles, prayed, put worship music on.  I read on my book some and Bill went out to work on pens.  I walked 2 1/4 miles on the treadmill.  I typed all of my notes up from my Sunday School Teacher class and then took the test.  Got 100% and my certificate which was also sent to the church.  I am happy to be done with that.  FaceTimed with Vikki and the kids a couple of times.  Texted with Kimmy.  Zoomed with Elaine and Cheryl for a while.  It was good talking to them and seeing them.  Fun to do all together.  Bill got on too.  Read more on my book.

Day 38, 4/22/2020, Cold day, but at least no wind, Kimmy's shampooer came, I finished my Sunday School class,

Nice surprise today...Sara from church was the one who did my shopping and delivering today.
Bill tilled the garden for a second time
Kimmy's shampooer was delivered today.  Wyatt is standing on part that hasn't been cleaned yet. Better not cross over that line Wyatt ha ha.  Her carpet looks amazing where it has been shampooed.
Never seen a line like that one between the dirty and shampooed carpet. Wow!

My Christmas cactus I started little leaf is growing nicely

Today 474 cases and 35 deaths in Saginaw County

We listened to Pastor Ken's devotion.  Ate oatmeal and read our Bibles.  Played worship music.  I delivered Melissa's Birthday Card to her house so she would have time to let it sit.  That way she can open it on her birthday.  I also dropped off some oatmeal packets, that was a replacement for some Organic Oats and Flax Oatmeal I had ordered, but got replaced.  I was able to get the kind I liked, so passed that to Melissa figuring someone there would like it.  Bill worked on some pens.  I finished my other 4 sessions of my class for Sunday School Teachers.
I got a text in the morning saying my person was shopping for my Aldi order.  She texted me that toilet paper wasn't on my list, but she noticed some on the shelf so did I want her to put some in my cart because the shelf is usually empty.  I thought that was so nice of her.  She texted me a couple of other times and I answered her.  She delivered my order to my house a hour later.  I looked out, but could only see the back of her as she got in her car.  After she left, I got a text (the top picture), saying Sara M. delivered my order.  I was sure the picture was Sara from church, so I messaged her and asked her if it was beautiful you who shopped for me and delivered my groceries.  She answered me back "yes ma'am" it was me.  She was wondering if I was the Penny she was shopping for.  We were both happy to find out we were right.  I was able to get everything on my list which was great.  I made a video for my Sunday School kids to let them know I am missing them.  Very much out of my comfort zone, but it was nice to say hi to all of them and let them know I miss them.  Sara asked me to do it.  I told her she didn't need to post it, but she did.  Kimmy let me know her shampooer was delivered.  So glad.  I can't wait to hear how she likes it.  She sent me the above pictures, so I added them.  Can't wait to save enough points to get Vikki and Melissa a shampooer like that too.  Adam was happy to know Vikki is giving him the set of books we were going to pass around.  He really wanted a set of his own.  He finished reading them and is reading them again.  I love that boy!
I talked to Vikki and Kimmy and texted Melissa.  Bill and I watched the Bible Study on the Holy Spirit pastor did online tonight.  It was very good and my heart was stirred.

Bill hung the swings...they were really swinging in the wind too
Made a yummy meatloaf, baked potatoes, string beans and broccoli for dinner

We watched the morning devotion.  Read our Bibles and spent time worshipping.  It was very windy out.  I could hear it blowing and howling all day.  Didn't even go outside today.  We used our last bag of wood pellets, so we are just using the furnace now.  Miss being able to stand in front of the nice warm fireplace.  Kimmy made me happy and sent a picture of her in the face mask I made for her.  She said it's really comfortable.  I worked some more on my class for Sunday School today.  I read some on my book too.  Talked to Kimmy, Melissa and Vikki.  Didn't do much today.

Nice sunny day, 58 degrees for a high, but so windy it didn't feel like that.  Great devotion in the morning on Psalm 19.  The heavens declare the glory of the Lord!  Amen!  I walked 2 1/4 miles on the treadmill.  We had oatmeal for breakfast.  Read our Bibles.  Bill worked on pens in the shed. I walked around the yard checking plant growth and sat outside reading for a while.  God's beauty is all around and surely declares His glory.  Pastor had us remember to look at God's creation and think about all that God has done and is doing.  Good reminder.  We went to Vikki's and visited for a while.  Stayed nice and warm with that heater going.  The kids were very cute visiting with us through the window.  They showed us their school packets, things they have made with legos, Peyton...her doll and Isaac the camera he made out of legos (it actually has a light) and his new alarm clock.  Bill tilled the garden today.  It looks very nice.  Rhubarb is really growing.

Beautiful daffodils on this sunny day

Woke up in time to spend a half hour before church started in worship and prayer for the service.  Listened online to the service.  Very good message.  I made eggs, potatoes, bacon, ham, and toast for brunch.  We had blackberries with it too.  It was beautiful and sunny out, but quite windy.  Bill found a spot in the sun that wasn't too windy and worked on his pens.  I watched him for a while.  I walked around the yard and through the little woods a few times to get some steps and exercise.  Nice seeing more plants popping up all the time.  My hostas are finally poking through.  Opened our mail and got a nice donation for Run for the Sun from my friend Vikki.  Also got a donation from Sharon from our church.  So nice and such a great ministry to support.  Vikki called and the Author's son,  of the books, The Watchers, Guardians of Freelandia, gave her 6 sets of the books.  She was supposed to get two sets from him for free, but when she went to get them, he had 6 sets on the porch.  So wonderful.  You can read about it on her blog.  Very big blessing from the Lord.  She gave me a set for my Birthday.  Thank you Vikki.  I was looking on line at them.  I almost mentioned I would like them for my birthday to her, but decided they were too much, so I would just order them sometime.  She also gave me a set to pass around, and a set to give to Melissa's family.  I am going to start reading it again.  Bill made noodle soup and dumplings for dinner.  We watched Pastor Ken and Joan online during our church prayer time.  We prayed for a lot of people and other things.  I made us each a bowl of fruit...blackberries, oranges, bananas, blueberries and pineapple.  Love fresh fruit.  Delicious!
I watched a movie on You tube called the Two Witnesses.  It was interesting.  I have to watch part 2.  Bill took a nap while I was watching it.  I dropped off a face mask and the books to Melissa's.  It was nice seeing everyone through the door and saying hi.  I love my family!

Vikki sent pictures of her family with their pens Bill made them

I walked on the treadmill 2 1/4 miles.  We ate banana blueberry oatmeal bake for breakfast. Bill worked on pens in the shed for a while.  I vacuumed the house.  We went to drop off pens Bill made for Peyton, Isaac and Rody.  We left them on their porch and visited through the window.  We went to Kimmy's after that and dropped off Jared's mom's face masks she made them and also one that I had made.  Also dropped off some cinnamon and a big pack of donuts from Sam's Club. I forgot to take Vikki's family's big pack of donuts.  Will have to drop them off tomorrow.  We looked at their new power washer and visited with them out in their woods on the swings and chairs 6 feet away.  It was so nice other than it was pretty windy.  Adam and Eli were in short sleeve shirts and shorts.  They were playing and were keeping warm.  I was warm as long as Bill was blocking the wind from me.  We had a very nice visit and it seemed so good to be able to sit for a while and talk.  It was fun to see the fish in their pond.  There are lots of them.  Nice seeing their lambs too.  They are getting big and are so cute. I listened to a Michael W. Smith concert from his home with his band from their homes.  It was so good.  Vikki posted a picture of the guy who wrote the books, The Watchers, Guardians of Freelandia.  It was a picture of him with his family.  She told about the book and how good it was and recommended it to everyone.  The son got a notification from Facebook, so he checked with Vikki to see why she posted a picture of him.  Come to find out, some of our friends are friends with him.  After she told him why and offered to take the picture down, he told her she didn't have to.  He is giving her two sets of the books for free.  She is giving me one set for my birthday.  Happy Birthday to me.  What a great gift!  She had them in her cart to buy her a set and me one for my birthday.  God is good!  I thought about asking her to get them for me for my birthday since we had to send my birthday gift back.  I decided I didn't want to make her feel like she had to get me something else.  I talked to all of my girls today and had nice talks.  Bruce went to pick up some things from his dad and Brenda today.  They met in Edmore and gas was $1.16.  Bruce was saying something about gas being low there.  His dad said, low....I thought it was high.  It was .97 in Muskegon.  The book I just read had prophecies in it.  One was that gas would go below a dollar.  I thought to myself...you were close...it's 1.52 here, and then I heard this today.  Amazing as this was written so many years ago when gas was really high.
