Beautiful glass things Kenzie and Travis made me. Thank you so much!

I got texts nice and early from Jacob and Adam wishing me Happy Birthday.  Jacob sent balloons going up with his, and Adam sent fireworks.  They have to teach me how to do that.  Vikki called me and her and the kids sang Happy Birthday to me.  She came over and brought the kids.  Kimmy called me and wished me happy birthday.  She said she was going to try to come spend some time during the day with me, then come back with the rest of the family tonight.  We hung up, so I could open the present Vikki, Peyton and Issac made for me.  It was a beautiful Bird nest making ball.  What a great idea and so cute.  I would have hung it out right away except we were having 50 mph wind gusts and didn't want it to get ruined.  It's going out right away tomorrow morning though.  Peyton helped me hull the strawberries. Vikki went to work, then Bill got home and walked in with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me and a very sweet card.  It had an Outback gift card in it! Melissa face timed me and she and the boys sang Happy Birthday to me.  Kimmy came over and she, Peyton, Isaac and I played 3-13.  They were not letting me win on my birthday either.  Kenzie and Travis came, so we quit our game.  I got nice birthday greetings from them.  We visited with them.  Kenzie and Peyton made my other birthday cake.  Kimmy had to leave at 2:15 to go get the boys.  Vikki came back and she and Kenzie wanted me to open their gifts really bad.  Vikki and family got me a really good eyeliner, and eyebrow pencil, a smart bulb so now I can have my light as bright or dim as I want it, and a wonderful magnet for my dishwasher...one side says dirty and the other says clean!  I have been sticking a paper on it when the dishes are clean.  This is going to make it so easy now.  I have a husband who has stuck dirty dishes in when the dishes are clean.  Thank you so much Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac.  I opened Kenzie and Travis's next.  They gave me a beautiful flower pendant Kenzie made, a thumb kin pendant, a beautiful tube that I will be able to hang and start Christmas Cactus cuttings, etc in, and Kenzie painted me a beautiful wall hanging for the redecorated bedroom.  Thank you so much Kenzie and Travis.  Vikki and Kenzie went to get the Lazy Boy Vikki is giving them, and did some other errands.  Bill and I talked to Travis a long time.  He has a heart for the Lord.  My most wonderful birthday gift was Travis prayed with us and asked Jesus into his heart.  He shared so many things that just blessed my heart and made me thankful for God bringing him and Kenzie together.  Kenzie and Vikki got back and Bill and Travis, went and picked up a washer/dryer combo machine.  Bill talked the lady way down and it is brand new.  She got it, then had to move and couldn't take it with her so was new.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys came.  I got wonderful Birthday greetings from them too.  Rody came next and we all visited until Bill and Travis got back. Rody was wearing a great looking sweatshirt he got in the SWAG store at church.  We ate Sloppy Joes and chips.  Some had subs.  We visited some more and then had cake and ice cream.  Then I opened the amazing and beautiful tumblers Kimmy and Jared made for me.
Thank you all so much! Last, I opened the chandelier I told Bill I really liked at Menard's.  What a nice surprise.  I am excited to see it once it is hanging up.  Thank you sweetie!  After everyone left, Stacie and Kody called and sang Happy Birthday to me.  What a sweet, precious, wonderful family I have.  I talked to Vikki, Kenzie and Melissa each again too.  I got a very nice birthday comment on Facebook from Lela and Stella today too.  It made me smile!  What a great day!

 Evan lost his first molar

Did our morning routine.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac over.  We drank coffee, listened to worship music and visited.  She left for work.   Peyton started on her school visit with her teacher.  I read my devotion.  We did spelling, then reading.  We are almost to the end of Ralph the Mouse and the Motorcycle.  After that, Peyton made an Angel Food birthday cake for my birthday tomorrow.  I assisted a little with the oven.  It turned out great.  She thought it was funny that I put it on a bottle to cool.  When Vikki got here, we ate nacho's for lunch.  She left and Bill and I took a short nap.  Vikki called and woke me to tell me, Penney's had the sweatshirts she loves for $7.99.  I went there right away and they had a sweatshirt and pants that matched it.  They were regularly $39.00 each. I got both together for $11.00 with the sale price and my rewards.  They are super comfortable, so I'm glad she disturbed my nap.  Bill and I went to church for our discipleship/Bible Study.  Bill left early for the Marine Corp. League Meeting.  I face timed with Vikki when I got home, and then talked to Melissa quite a while.  She had a great virtual meeting with her new orthopedic doctor in Owosso.  While we were talking, Evan showed her his loose tooth.  She went to get him a washcloth and the tooth came out.

Tues, 3/16/21...Watched Peyton and Isaac, went grocery shopping, Peyton came for a visit

Peyton got a pretty new bed and also a Bed in a Bag set.   Very pretty and such a sweet pretty princess on it
She's going to sleep good tonight...nice and cozy
Night Night

Felt great again today.  Very happy about that.  Hope it goes as well with the second shot.  I did my regular morning routine.  Bill went with Charlie to go for a ride and drink his coffee.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac.  We had coffee and then she had to go to work.  We worked on spelling...Isaac missed 3 and Peyton missed 6.  Harder words, but they did great after they wrote the ones they missed.  The test was before they even studied them.  We just read Ralph the Mouse today, because we are almost to the end and wanted to know what happened to him.  We watched a movie about a 6 year old boy and a dog.  It was rated for all, but Peyton and Isaac were less tense during it than Nana ha ha.  Peyton had a good laugh when I yelled during it.  It had a great ending though.  Vikki came and I warmed up the chicken and rice that was left over from last night for her.  She like it.  We both had asparagus and I had some rice.  Peyton wanted a bagel and Isaac wasn't hungry yet.  They did their school meeting with their teacher.  I went to Aldi and Jack's and got some groceries.Vikki got a full sized bed for Peyton, so used the truck to pick it up.  Peyton stayed with me while Vikki got it.  We had fun.  She loves to watch the birds, and tells me what kind she sees.  She is so much fun.  She didn't want nacho's with papa and I, but wanted to eat a clementine orange.  Vikki came and dropped the truck off and picked Peyton up.  Bill and I watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

I read my Bible, ate a bowl of cereal and then headed out to get my Covid shot.  Got the Pfizer one.  The line looked long, but it moved very fast.  My appt. was for 9 a.m. and I got the shot at 9:08.  After they had the amount of cars that fit inside the garage, they had us shut our cars off, then they closed both garage doors.  There were tables with nurses, ready to go to each car and answer any questions and give the shots.  I didn't watch her give me mine, she just said big poke and it was done.  I didn't feel anything.  When everyone was done they opened the first garage door, so we could all drive out, then opened the other one so the next people could drive in.  We waited in the parking lot for our 15 min. time they wanted us to wait.  I drove by where the eagle's next was and it was sad not to see it up in the tree.  I came home and read my devotions and prayed.  I went with Bill to Godwin's to meet Vikki and pick up her chair.  We unloaded it and took it in her house.  Vikki and I carried the big part of the chair and Bill carried the back to the chair in.  It is so pretty and so comfy.  Vikki was really happy.   I painted the edges of the closet doors upstairs in the bedroom, so now the painting up there is finished.  Yay!  I made chicken with chicken soup, onion soup mix and rice for dinner.  I also put asparagus in the oven, and red skinned potatoes in the air fryer.  Vikki called and was coming over to go to the roller skating rink early because Kimmy and Jared were dropping off Adam and Eli there.  I hurried and ate a piece of pizza, then instructed Bill in what he had to do to get his dinner out and cook his corn he wanted.  He texted me that the food was great.  Jacob had his band concert, so Jared and Kimmy took him there after they dropped the boys off at the rink.  Eli loved rollerblading and was super good at it.  I love that they have a Christian Skate night so the music is what we like listening to.  We were hopping Kimmy would make it back in time to see Eli skate, but they got there about 5 minutes too late.  Adam sat with Vikki and I and watched the kids.  He was so much fun to have with us.  Katelyn and her mom, sister, and some other homeschoolers were there.  Peyton was happy to have a friend there.  We talked to Melissa on our way home.  I called Marie back when I got home.  Texted with Adam today.  Nice to see Jacob even if only for a few minutes.  Can't wait to see and hear his concert videos.
