2/22/18...Max got his braces on and so did Molly Jo, I Walked at Sportszone, Got twin baby gifts from Gayla and I wrapped and ready for Sat., Went to Rustic Inn

My handsome, sweet grandson, Max, got his braces on this morning.  This picture makes him look so much older.

When I was at Kimmy's the other day, a lamb was laying on its moms back.  Kimmy and I didn't have our phones, so we couldn't take a picture.  Kimmy sent me this today and I was so happy to get it.  Love this picture so much

Got the present wrapped for the twins who will be born soon.  Saturday is the Open House for babies at the fire station.

Joanna, Bob, Ronny, Gayla, Wes, Marsha, and Jim

Bill, Charlie, Matt, Don, Bob, Joyce, Gordon, Sue, Elaine and Cheryl at the Rustic Inn

Max got his braces on today.  It went great!  He looks so handsome!  We found out on Facebook that our great niece Molly got her bottom braces on today too.  I walked three fast miles at SportsZone.  I went in the afternoon and it was great as there weren't many there at that time.  I picked up a big gift bag for the gift for twins that will arrive soon.  Gayla and I went in together.  We got two red clamp on chairs, two books and two toys.  I remember the girls loved their clamp on chairs for camping, etc.  Came home and got the gift ready.  The bag was big enough for everything so that was good.  Cleaned and vacuumed the car out.  Bill showed someone our fireplace insert we took out and he bought it for $80.  Glad to have that out of the garage.  Bill told him he would need to get insulation for around the edges to keep cold air out when not in use.
We picked up Charlie and Sue and took them to the Rustic in with us.  Faith Riders were meeting there for dinner.  There were 19 of us there.  I had salmon and a baked potato and Bill had ground steak.  We had a great time together!  Came home and watched Olympic skating.

2/21/18 Billy Graham died (he moved from his address here to his address in heaven. He is alive forever more) Went to fill out a form at my doctors office to get records, Elaine came over, Met Bill to get gabs, Went to lunch at Applebees, Took a few things back to stores to return, Watched the Movie Wonder again, Bill went to Marine Corp league meeting.

Peyton with Vikki's Cabbage Patch Doll.  It's the only doll Vikki really liked when she was little

Cute little family....Isaac said he wanted an American Boy Doll so Vikki let him play with her Cabbage Patch Doll

Isaac and Peyton loved playing Sorry

I went to sign a paper at my doctor's so they can get my records from my old dr.  When I got home, Elaine came over to learn how to do her chaplain article and send it to me for the newsletter.  We visited and had coffee afterward.  Bill met Doug Szcepanski in Bay City.  Bill is on his board now.
Bill called and said he wanted me to meet him to get gas at Kroger's.  It was still $2.18 a gallon and we had 40 cents off up to 35 gallons.  He filled both tanks, and then we went to Applebees for lunch.  It was packed, but we got a seat after about 10 minutes.  I got soup and salad and Bill got a burger.
I was sad and emotional when I heard Billy Graham died.   Love what he said about when he died, he would be more alive than ever!  I know he is with the Lord, but it is such a loss to me, our nation and the world.  He was such a mighty man and servant of God.  Always loved Him and his message.  Bill accepted the Lord at one of his crusades.  I took some things back to return to stores.  Met Vikki and gave her the Sorry Game for the kids.  Bill went to his Marine Corp League meeting.  I watched the DVD "Wonder".  Such a great movie.  Always cry because it is so touching.  Got a really sweet message from Stacie Simmermacher saying she and Brian were talking about us tonight...she had so many sweet things they said about us.  They were such an encouragement to us.

2/20/18....Went to breakfast, went to Melissa's, went to the Home Store, Went to Kimmy's

Me feeding "Grandpa"!  Such a cute lamb

Bill had to lower the curtain rod so the curtains would be long enough

Got the two extra panels today  How was I to know they only put one panel in a package now but show a picture of two.  I should have read the fine print

\
Adam put on a concert for me and a fine job he did too!

Three of my wonderful grandsons

Eli loves this book

I went to breakfast.  There were thirteen of us there.  After breakfast, I went to Melissa's.  She made me a coffee and I had a brownie that Evan made.  It was delicious.  I stayed for a while and visited and then I went to the Home Store and got two more curtain panels.  Ridiculous that they only pt one panel in a package now.  Always trying to make more money I guess.  I stopped at a couple more stores and then came home.  It was so warm out (almost 60) that I was roasting when I got in the house and had to turn the pellet burner off.  Nice for February.  Bill lowered the curtain rod and we hung the curtains on the sliding glass door.  The bird feeder was knocked down, so I filled it and hung it back up and filled the other feeders.  Went to Kimmy's after that.  We went out to check on the sheep.  One of the Romney lambs was sleeping on top of it's momma.  It was so cute, but neither Kimmy or I had our phones to take pictures.  The lambs are so cute and these sheep are much calmer and more friendly.  We visited and Kimmy helped me decide on what shampooer to get with my points.  I had three to choose from.  We went out and I got to feed the lamb named Grandpa his bottle.  He didn't want it outside, but once he got in the barn he couldn't drink it fast enough.  He sure is adorable and is doing so well now.  Kimmy and I played 3-13.  I started out really good, but then things changed.  Kimmy won!  Loved seeing the boys when they got off the bus.  They all had a good day at school.  Adam played his trombone for us.  He is so excited about his upcoming concert.  Sure wish I could go to it. He is playing so nice now.

2/19/18...Walked at SportZone, Dr. Appt. at 1:45, Shopped for twins baby shower, took back curtains and rugs and got different ones

Bill hung the curtain rod while I was gone today

Peyton was pretty happy when she found out her doll is on the way home!  Me too!

I went to walk at the SportsZone!  Went late and boy was it busy.  I walked one mile and came home and walked my other two miles.  I went to my dr. appt. and got all good news.  All my tests and bloodworm were good and my cholesterol has come down 33 points.  She thinks if I keep walking and eating good it will be fine and I won't need medicine.  That sure is answered prayer.  I really like my new doctor.  Sure am glad I am not at the other place anymore.  After my appointment, I stopped at the bank and got some money out.  Went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to look at curtains and rugs.  Didn't see anything I liked there.  I stopped at Baby'sRUs and got two clamp on chairs for Katelyn's shower on Saturday from Gayla and I.  Went to Target and picked up a couple of toys to go with it.  Went to Walmart and picked up two rugs I liked better than the ones I got last night.  Took those back and also the curtains and got the same curtains only barley colored instead of Frost.  Bill had the old broken shades down and had the new curtain rod up.  I sure was happy about that.  He had picked up Hailey and Jack during the time I was gone and took them to help them with Basketball at the SportsZone.  I didn't get to see them though.  I was pretty excited to see the American Girl doll of Peyton's is on her way home.  Peyton was happy about that!

Isaac was drumming to the worship music...he's pretty good too, not to mention very handsome
Pretty flowers from Bill
A picture of Vikki and I's mugs and us holding Kimmy's nice mugs

Cutie Peyton!  Love her smile

I went to church early so I could get my room set up and activity sheets for my class organized.  This Sunday School Lesson was on kindness and it sure was a good one.  My kids loved it and so did I.  I had ten kids in my class and Kris was my helper.  After church, we came home and I made spaghetti for Bill and I ate my left over Chicken Alfredo from the Olive garden which was super delicious.  Bill had to go get something notarized for a fellow marine, so he dropped me off to spend time with Vikki, Rody and the kids and he went to his sister Carol's to have her notarize it.

He came home with a huge bouquet of roses and another huge bouquet of carnations for Vikki and I.  We split them so we have a mixture of both kinds.  After we left Vikki's, we went to the new Home Store and got a couple of rug runners for the hallway where you come in from the garage and we got some curtains for the sliding glass door because our shades broke.  Did some shopping online with Gayla to decide what we will get for Katelynn's twins for her baby shower.  Decided on Chico Caddy Hook on Chairs.  My girls all loved having them, especially for camping.  They love to camp so I'm sure they will love them too.  When Calls the Heart has a new episode starting tonight.  I am so excited to watch it.

Jacob, Adam and Eli wearing their whistle lips.  Ei was sure silly tonight and so cute.  What wonderful grandsons

Love this picture of momma with her lambs

Made oatmeal for us!  Bill went to visit a 97 year old veteran.  He doesn't know him, but because of the Marine Corp league he found out about him.  While he was gone, I walked for 3 miles and listened to worship music.  We met Kimmy, Jared and the boys at Olive Garden at 4:30.  The boys were really excited, especially Eli.  We had such a wonderful time with them.  The boys had pizza and spaghetti off the kids menu.  We couldn't believe how much food they got plus drinks with refills.  Bill and Jared got spaghetti and Kimmy and I got Chicken Alfredo.  Everything was delicious.  We got Zipolee for dessert.  YUM!  We all were nice and full when we left there.  We went to their house to see the lambs.  What a beautiful sight to see all the sheep with their lambs in the barn.  We took pictures and videos.  We went in the house and Kimmy made us delicious coffee.  The boys opened their Valentines.  They had fun with the lip whistles.  Eli was hilarious.  He should be in drama with his wonderful expressions.  Melissa called to say they were headed to Muskegon.  Bruce's mom had knee replacement yesterday and came home today.  Vikki called too, so we put them on speaker.  We came home and watched a movie on the Christian Station and then a Hallmark movie.

2/16/18....I walked two miles at the SportsZone, Went to help prepare food for Tri Hope's retreat, Bill picked up Peyton and Isaac, Vikki came over, Went to St. Thomas Aquinas for fish dinner with Wes and Gayla

Isaac and Peyton

Got this email today!  Peyton American Girl doll was admitted to have leg surgery.  Peyton was pretty excited.

I walked two miles at SportsZone.  Came home and ate brunch.  Bill and I each ate the other half of our subs from last night.  Then he left to pick up Peyton and Isaac for Vikki because she had to work and the kids got out at 10:55.  Then I left to help prepare food for the Wildflower Retreat that ministers to Sexually abused women or sex traffic victims.  What a blessing they are!  I was very happy to see Stacie there and she was very happy to see me.  Bev and I were the two doing the cooking.  First we picked up subs for everyone that was there for lunch.  Then we made chili, potato soup, and pulled pork.  We had a nice time working together and it was nice to get to know each other better.  Left there at about 1:30 and came home.  Vikki had just got there so she shared her lunch from KFC with me and then we had a donut Bill had got for us.  She stayed for a while and Peyton and Isaac were having fun being silly.  We met Wes and Gayla at St. Thomas Aquinas for a fish fry at 5.  We got the fish combo...shrimp, perch and walleye with a baked potato and coleslaw.  Tons of fish and it was the best I have ever had.  Bill got extra perch and walleye and no shrimp for his combo.  We went to Wes and Gayla's house afterwards to play rumicube and 3-13.  Wes, Gayla and I each one a round of rumicube.  Poor Bill had one hand where he didn't get rid of any of his tiles.  He came in second on 3-1 though.  Gayla was the winner for that.  We had homemade peppermint ice cream and coffee when we were done playing.  YUM!
