We slept in this morning.  Didn't get up until about 8:30.  I was awake, but laid there thanking God for the many blessings I thought of that He has given us.  This will be a day of much thanks.  Today had a huge blessing right after I got up.  Melissa sent me pictures and told me Hailey spent the night there.  She face timed me and they all wished us Happy Thanksgiving and we wished them Happy Thanksgiving.  It was so much fun seeing them and talking to them.  They tried to talk to Wyatt, but he wasn't interested in face timing.  She tested negative for Covid, had had it and Ann who is the neighbor she lives with had it too.  She is pretty safe right now, so with being off school the whole week too, it was perfect.  It made me so happy.  I know how happy she had to be to be with her family and to go up and spend the night in her own room.  I sure thank God.  I went to check on the animals at Kimmy's and they were all doing fine.  I took pictures to send them.  I took an apple for Bo and he loved that.  I washed his eye with a warm cloth I brought from home.  He has a blocked tear duct.  The cats came and kept going around my feet in circles.  Petted them and gave them attention.  When I got home, we went to Cracker Barrel and got turkey dinners and had a bottle of root beer.  The dinners were delicious and they even gave us pumpkin pie to go.  It was 2 when we went so it wasn't crowded.  We took the truck and those heated seats and the massage sure felt good on the way.  I talked to Vikki today too.  Bill took a nap and I spent time texting with the girls and grandsons, and then wishing friends Happy Thanksgiving on face book.  In the evening, we went to visit Wes, Gayla and Joel.  Kimmy called me while we were there and I was so happy to talk to her.  Got to talk on speaker to Eli too.  I sure am missing them.  We played 3-13 and I won both games.  That's a switch.  We had cookies, ice cream and coffee afterwards.  We had a nice time visiting.  Got home and worked on the blog.

Love this picture of Grandpa Max and Jacob so much!  Kimmy sent it to me this morning.

I texted with Adam and Kimmy.  I told Kimmy it was 37 degrees out here and sunny, and she told me it was the same there.  It was very nice here today, got to 50 degrees and sunny.  It was a perfect day for Hailey to go with me to check on Kimmy and Jared's animals and meet Bo for the first time.  Since we were so close to Sanford, I took her and showed her how Sanford Lake looks now that the dam broke and there's no water.  It's hard to even imagine unless you see it.  We went to that beach so many times when Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki were little, and when all the grandkids were little.  Many memories there.  Still makes me so sad to see it this way and think of all those poor people with homes there.  We got to the farm, and Hailey put my muck boots on and I wore Bills.  We checked on the animals and they all looked good.  The sheep were all grazing and the chickens were in the barn.  We got Bo out of his paddock and brought him into the barn to groom him.  He is just the most gentle horse!  We petted him lots and gave him treats.  Hailey got a little slobbered on when she gave him one.  She wiped it on Bo in a hurry.  He was easy to put back in his paddock.  Hailey can't wait to ride him when Kimmy and Jared are there.  She sent Jacob and Adam the pictures we took.  We went to Applebees for lunch and she got a big hamburger and fries and I got a Oriental Chicken Salad.  I brought half of mine home.  I dropped Hailey off and visited with Melissa, Evan and Jack for a while.  Bill and I did the last of the leaves today.  He put in a new mercury bulb by the shed, and I picked up lots of sticks on the side of the house.  I blew off the deck too.  Did a lot of texting with Kimmy and sent her all the pictures I took at their place.  It was fun keeping up with where they were.  Adam sent me some pictures, one is his face with out his mouth.  I told him I needed to see his smile.  Then he sent me texts that had me laughing lots.  Melissa and I had a really nice talk in the evening and thanked God for all he is doing and how he is healing her.  What an awesome God we have.  I love how she trusts Him for everything, just like I do.  He sure has shown His faithfulness to us always.  Wyatt was just a great dog today!  I love having him!

11/23/21, Kimmy and Jared dropped off Wyatt, They picked up the boys from school and left for Georgia,

The first chair Wyatt picked was the Lazy Boy.  I wonder why?

This is what he did while we ate.  Snoozed right next to the table!

I was happy to get this picture of Jacob, Eli and Adam from Kimmy when they stopped in London, Kentucky to spend the night
Awful scoresheet from our 3-13 game.  I went out the first 4 rounds, but he seemed to cut that out of the picture for some reason
I borrowed this beautiful picture of Bo from Kimmy's Blog

Had our morning coffee and did our morning routine.  Kimmy called when they were leaving to bring Wyatt here.  Nice to see Kimmy and Jared before their trip.  Wyatt was happy to see me and I am sure happy to have him stay with us.  After setting the feeding and watering stations up and taking Wyatt outside, they left to go get the boys from school and were heading to Georgia after that.  Kimmy texted me when they were in Ohio.  They have a beautiful day to drive there.  It was a nice sunny start at least, and hopefully nice all the way to their destination for tonight.  Bill and I blew the leaves into piles and then raked them on to the tarp and hauled them to the garden.  It didn't take long with us working together.  Wyatt is such a great dog.  He goes potty right away when he goes outside.  He doesn't beg at the table and he is such great company.  I can't quite get a picture of him on my lap because we don't fit in my selfie.  Bill and I played 3-13.  He beat me bad and then sent me a picture of the score sheet to rub it in.  We watched a movie after that.

11/22/21, Cold and windy today, Did laundry, put things away from our Thanksgiving Dinner, Prayed for people from church

Evan cooking the popcorn

Evan and Bruce were popping this popcorn in the fireplace last night, but their hands got too hot.  Evan finished cooking it on the stove.  They said it was delicious.  It sure looks yummy!  Evan always wants his mom to share pictures of what he's doing.  I love this so much and love him to pieces

It was a pretty laid back day, cold and windy too.  The wind blew so hard last night that it knocked my multi bird feeder post down.  I picked it up and moved it to a less windy spot for the winter.  Filled all the feeders and the birds came to them immediately.  They were trying to eat from the feeders when they were laying on the ground.  We ate breakfast, then did our morning reading and prayer time.  I did some laundry and put some things away that I won't be needing for a while.  Bill worked out in the shed some.   I had a nice thick ham sandwich for lunch.
Marie called me and said she had been thinking of me lots, so called to see how I was.  She prayed for me, then I prayed for her tests for her upcoming Aortic Heart Valve replacement and for the surgery.  I called Bev after I tried her number a couple of times.  A message from Verizon would come on, but after a few tries it went through.  She was back in church after having Covid and being in the hospital for a while, then in rehab.  She is 93 and now is feeling better and getting her strength back.  It was so good talking to her.  She was very thankful God got her through all she went through.

We ate Thanksgiving leftovers for dinner.  Very yummy and we sure got full.  Bill had an elder's meeting at 6:30.  I watched Christmas for a Dollar.  It's my favorite Christmas movie and is one I want to watch each year.  Bill got home not long after it started, as I paused it to take to Melissa, then Vikki.  He really likes this movie too.  I talked to Kimmy to find out if she wanted me to pick Wyatt up tomorrow to save them a trip.  She said things went so well today, she even had time to work on her blog.  That reminded me that I hadn't done my blog for today.  I got busy at it after hanging up from her.

Sunday, 11/21/21, Went to church, Took Lisa a Giving Tree tag, a sub and church notes, took Melissa a Giving Tree tag, Vikki, Rody and the kids came for leftovers

Peyton and Isaac comfy on the couch

We got to church, and I picked 3 tags off the Giving Tree for Life Clinic gifts.  Got one for Melissa and family, one for Lisa and one for us.  I love doing this for Christmas.  We went to our regular prayer times before church.  We were worshipping when Kim R. came and told us some people we had met at Nori's were here.  Bill went out to greet them and show them where we were sitting.  They sat behind us.  We were so happy to see them.  We had met them at Nori's when we were leaving and they saw Bill's New Life Church Sweatshirt.  They asked us where our church was, and we told them they should visit.  They were such a nice family.  We talked to them after church, and they loved the service.  It was on sowing and reaping.  Such great Scriptures in the message.

We picked us a sub at Jimmy Johns for Lisa.  On our way to her house, we dropped off Melissa's Giving Tree tag.  Hailey was just getting there, so we got to say hi to her.  Then we dropped off the notes I took at church, the gift tag and the sub sandwich for Lisa.  Her mom is still sick with Covid, so I just sat the stuff on the porch, and talked to her from the driveway.  Miss her being able to come to church.  We came home and Vikki and Peyton were at our house.  Rody and Bill came shortly after.  We had our traditional day after Thanksgiving Celebration leftover meal. Bill and Rody worked on changing Rody's tail light in his car while I warmed everything up.  Then we all ate together and enjoyed the yummy left overs.  We were all stuffed again afterwards.  We were even too full for pie.  We sat by the fire visiting for a while, then Vikki had to run to the store and then wanted to get home for a nap.  Rody took the kids and headed home.  Bill and I took a nap.  After that we had our chocolate banana pie.  Then we were stuffed again.  I called Kimmy to see if she left her camera battery here.  She told me they had just been outside and it was cold and raining and  very windy.  I told her I was going to look outside here.  It was nice and calm out with just a little breeze.  We hung up and five minutes later it started pouring and the wind was howling it was blowing so hard.  We couldn't hardly open our front door because of the wind. So weird.  It only lasted about 15 minutes.  Melissa called me and said it got really windy there too.  Bill and I watched a movie called Christmas Heart which was really good.

Got up at 5 after going to bed at midnight.  Got the stuffing made, and the turkey in the oven.  Put the ham in the crockpot, baked the cheesy potatoes and the mashed potatoes and put them in the Nesco oven to keep warm.  Then cooked the corn and the squash.  Kimmy brought yummy rolls and delicious apple pie.  Rody got here and went with Bill to get wood pellets.  Jacob, Adam and Bill had them unloaded in record time (5 minutes.) Vikki brought a yummy jello with fruit, and Stacie brought yummy pumpkin bread.  We hung out for a while and then when the turkey was done, DJ got it out and bill carved it.  DJ got the stuffing out of the turkey and helped me make the gravy.  He was a blessing helping with so much.  The girls put all the food on the table.  We prayed and gave thanks to the Lord, then we ate.  We were stuffed, so waited for dessert until later.  The girls cleaned up the whole kitchen and put all the food away. They are the best helpers ever! They do this every year for me and want me to sit and visit which is hard for me to do.  I like to be helping them.  Thank you so much girls!!!  Sue, Charlie, Jared and Bill played Euchre.  Sue and Charlie won.  After they were finished, we had pie and ice cream.  The younger kids played in the basement and roller bladed.  The older kids hung out and joked around with each other.  Jacob and Adam are good at teasing Hailey, but she can dish it out too, and she can hold her own.  We face timed with Melissa.  Sure do miss having them here and thought about them lots.  Kenzie made papers with names on the, so the kids all drew for Christmas.  Kenzie and Travis, and Stacie, DJ, and Kody had to leave after that.  Jacob, Adam, Vikki and Kimmy started moving the couch and love seat around.  We noticed a spill by where Bill sits, so I shampooed it and it all cleaned up nicely.  Kimmy emptied the shampoo dirty water container, then unplugged it and wound up the cord.  Jared, Vikki, Kimmy and I played 3-13, while we put a fan on the wet floor.  It was a very good game.  I'm just saying!!!  After we were done, the boys finished moving the furniture around so the tree would fit, then they brought the tree up for Bill.  Kimmy, Jared, Vikki and I worked on emptying the dishwasher, doing some dishes,  putting things away, and packing food for Kimmy and family to take home.  They sure all were amazing helpers and were such blessings to us.  They left, then let me know when they were all safely home.  It was a very fun day.  I am so thankful for family and all of God's many wonderful Blessings, especially the gift of Jesus and His gift of salvation.
