I went to the school to drive Evan to his field trip at Kokomos.  The whole school went, but the first graders had to have a family member with them for it.  We got there and Evan wanted to go on the bumper boats right away.  We were the first ones on.  I had no idea the boats had squirters on them.  I told Evan right away not to squirt anyone, but just open spaces.  Well it was a few minutes later when other kids were in the boats and all around us.  I didn't see any other adults.  The kids all started squirting.  I was getting wet and Evan was just turning us in circles.  I took over driving after that and at least got farther away from them.  It sure seemed like a long ride.  (I almost used my famous line.."Not everybody in the pool wants to get wet".  I said that once when a kid was shooting a super soaker in the pool at us and my wonderful daughters have never let me down). Next we went to the go carts.  I have never driven a go cart but Evan had to have me with him so I started driving.  We were going around at a nice pace and doing great until I felt someone behind us bump us.  Each go cart said no bumping on it so I yelled to quit it.  Another bump was felt so I turned around an it was Melissa's good friend, Ginny's son.  He was laughing thinking it was pretty funny.  I got away from him as quickly as I could.  This ride seemed like forever too, but Evan was sure loving it and kept telling me we were winning and I was a great driver.  He's so sweet.  We saw Ally and Hailey and I took their picture.  After that, we went in and he played laser tag.  7 minutes and 30 seconds of free time for me.  Yay!  I went and set my timer so I would be sure to be there to pick him up.  Then I gladly put some money on his card so he could play some inside games.  That was nice and relaxing and Evan loved it.  We went back outside and played putt putt.  That was fun.  Evan sure liked putting his ball in the water though.  We got pretty good at getting it out. We saw Max on the go carts while we were golfing, so I took a picture of him.  He was so happy and having so much fun.  We saw Jack afterwards, eating pizza.  We went in to get our lunch.  Hailey wanted to play laser tag with Evan after lunch.  They had fun together.  Then Hailey wanted to take Evan on the roller coaster.  She had been on it four times already.  I called Melissa and she said he could.  We walked there and they waited in line.  Just as it was about to be their turn, the school teachers told all the kids they had to come get ready to leave.  No ride on the roller coaster for Evan. Jack was on the bumper boats and we waited for him to get done. I got some nice pictures of him having lots of fun too.  Max was telling me about his day and how much fun he had.  He was so happy and excited.  After I signed them out, we went to the school to get Hailey and Max's book bags and then I took them for shakes and frappes.  We took a frappe home for Melissa.  It was a great day and many memories were made.

Bill had got caught in the rain in Harbor Beach and then got caught in awful traffic on his motorcycle on his way home.  He called me and told me he would be late.  He got home around 8 and we went to Outback for steak, baked potatoes and salads.  We had a fun time.

5/31/18...Went to Melissa's, Ate our other half of sandwiches, Took Nora outside to play before her nap, Bruce came home to take Melissa to her appt. and brought us each an ice capp., watched Nora while Melissa went to her dr. appt., She had a great appt., helped the kids with homework

 I finished doing some things around the house and then went to Melissa's to help her with Nora so she wouldn't get tired out.  She has her long awaited dr. appt. today.  She also has a sports banquet tonight.  I thought I could do things for her so she could rest and save her energy.  I took Nora outside and we had fun jumping on the trampoline and swinging.  Bruce came home to take Melissa to her appointment and had ice capps in his hand.  I told him he sure was a sweet husband to Melissa.  He surprised me and got one for me too.  He is a sweet son in law too. Bruce and Melissa took her wedding ring in to have a small diamond put back in and also have her mother's ring resized.   I stayed with Nora while Bruce and Melissa went to see her new doctor.  Nora was sleeping so, i made a couple of beds up and folded some laundry.  I was so happy when Melissa got  home and told me her appointment went great and she loved her new doctor.  She got the right medicine she had needed from the beginning.  He was very kind and so was everyone in his office.  She liked him so much she told me I should switch to him.  I am thanking God.  He is setting up therapy to start on Monday.

5/30/18..Walked on rail trail, Went to lunch at Chili's with Melissa, Picked Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan up from school., Finished weeding around the house and around the trees

I walked almost three miles on the rail trail this morning.  It was such a nice day to walk.  Worked on weeding around the rest of the house so I could put prune down.  Melissa and I went to Chili's for lunch. We each got potato soup and a turkey sandwich with avocado.  It was delicious.  We could only eat half of our sandwich because we got too full.  Picked up the kids from school and took them home.  Jack was really excited about his Presidential Award Metal. I am so happy for him.  

When I got home, I put Preen down around the house.  This baby possum was in the yard and I screamed when I saw it because it startled me.  I took some pictures and also a video.  I was nervous because he went in where I had put the Preen.  He was sreally cute.

5/29/18...Went to breakfast, Went to Boehler's and got our plants for the garden and some flowers. Planted the Garden. Went to Melissa's, Picked up kiddos from school, Went to Vikki's helped with her garden.

Bill and I went to breakfast.  After breakfast, we went to Boehler's and got our plants for the garden and some flowers to plant in our pots.  We came home and got the garden planted and the fence put up around it to keep the critters out.  I went to Melissa's after that to play with Nora outside for a while.  We had fun on the trampoline and she loved swinging.  Didn't stay out too long because it was very hot outside.  Went and picked up Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan and dropped them off.  We went to Vikki's and Bill tilled the garden while Vikki and I went to get her plants and seeds for the garden.  I gave her a Kale plant I had left over and some onions.  We got back and Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I planted everything.  We had fun!  i always feels good when the garden is planted.  I love my family!

5/28/19...Took the kids to play games and go to the park at BayShore, we packed up while they were there. Wes and Gayla left, then Vikki, Hailey and the kids left, and then we left. Such a good time at BayShore once again!

We took the kids to play games at the tabernacle field.  The people in charge said they were going to take them to the park.  We packed up to leave while they were gone. Wes and Gayla left, then Vikki got the kids and left.  Hailey rode with her.  We left a half hour after Vikki.We got back from BayShore and got the camper unpacked.  Melissa called and wanted to know if we would like to come over for a cookout.  Of course we said yes.  Bruce had made a great cut up veggie salad, macaroni salad, and cut up fruit.  He had chips and potato salad too. He grilled chicken, burgers and hotdogs on the grill.  Everything was delicious. We had ice cream sandwiches for dessert.  We sure had a great time and it was an absolutely beautiful day.  I love my family!
