7/7/16...went home to get stuff for Shields Festival and set up there.

We walked around the campground before I left to go home.  The kids always want to pick after Mocha when she goes potty.  I went home and we picked up candy and water bottles for the parade.  Got home and helped Bill cut business cards for Faith Riders to attach to water bottles. Went at 4 to set up for our booth in Shieldsi.  Elaine came too.  We punched holes in the business cards.  Left and went to Wes and Gaylas to finish bottles and have officers meeting.  Ran out of cards so I went back to check if we left some behind.  Picked up more rubber bands.  Ran more copies of business cards.  Bill didn't tell me there was a second page with no faith Riders on them.  I had to sort and separate them and then run more of just the first page.  Cut them and headed back to the meeting.  Left and picked up Jack.  All of Melissas kids had the best hugs for me.  We stopped at the McDonalds on State St but it was packed.  Left and stopped at one on Mackinaw and we were the only ones.  Got a kids Hamburg happy meal and I got cheeseburgers.  We had fun riding and talking.  Got to the campground at 10 pm.  Played games with Vikki

7/8/16...had a fun day with Jack

We all went for a morning walk around the campground.  We were hot so went swimming.

Jack is quite the swimmer.  We had so much fun in the pool.

Went to get ice cream and then to the store Bill called to warn us of severe storms and hail.  We headed back right away because he said to take the awning down.

Right when we started, it started hailing dime size hail.   Sounded terrible hitting our cars as we drove. 

Hail got bigger once we left for the clubhouse  one of the workers came on his cart and said a tornado was a few minutes from here and to get to the clubhouse 

We got the kids, the dogs and drove separately to the clubhouse as we had put the chairs in our cars to keep dry.  Dents in my car from hail

Vikki wasn't at clubhouse so I called her as I was worried about them.  She had gone somewhere else but then came. I saw her car so left Jack with Mocha inside while I went to help her with kids as she had Lenny.  Got to her car in that awful weather and it was empty.  One of the workers helped her and she went in the door to the bathroom.  We were all glad to be together and safe.  Had Melissa,Kimmy and kids, and Bill praying. 

When we were given the all clear we left and saw all the hail damage to our cars and awning.  Glad we were all ok though.  Walked around the campground and saw all the dented cars and a few really dented campers.

Lots of water standing all over.  Our spot was nice and dry.

Jack and Peyton walked ahead of us and were holding hands.  They were so cute.

The pool water was really high and Hot tub was overflowing.  Had the road below roped off because of water 

Stopped at the store and the kids bought a treat.

Played two games of dice with Jack.  Lots of fun with this sweet boy!   Cookies and milk for our treat!

7/6/16...very hot day at the campground

Got up and went to take a shower.  Took Mocha for a walk and then Isaac and I went for a walk. (he rode his scooter.  Vikki laid Down so the kids and I went swimming.  Vikki came to the pool when she got up.  We came home and she made sandwiches and took Peyton and Isaac to make crowns.  Vikki and the kids went to the pavilion but it was closed because of being open on Monday.  I stopped for a push up ice cream at the store because I'm trying to watch my cholesterol.  Then I went to the pavilion to eat with them and I was the only one with ice cream.  They went to the store to get ice cream there.  Two brothers, one 14 and one 16 came and asked to pet Lenny.  Vikki left him with me.  They talked to me a long time and told me their parents aren't together.  They were so sad about it.  I talked to them about my biological dad, step dad and then how the Lord brought the best dad in the world to me.  Also talked to them about waiting for God to bring the right girl to them.  They called their sister over after that to sit with us.  She was 12 and they really looked out for her.  After that two young girls who work there came and sat with us.  Both are in college and have great goals. Vikki and kids went on the hayride and I took Lenny back to our campsite.  We all went swimming after that.  Ate leftovers and the went for a walk around the whole campground.  Vikki put the kids to bed and I went for a quick adult swim and then when I got back she went.  Too hot for hot tub tonight.  Played our games before going to bed

It was a beautiful day in the high 80's.marie and Roy came up for the day. We visited lots and took a long walk around the campground.  Bill grilled chicken and I grilled potatoes.  Had corn on the cob and watermelon too.  Visited more and then Bill , Roy and Marie had to leave.  Vikki and the kids and I went swimming and to the hot tub.  Their were cute 8 ye old twin boys there.  They looked identical but weren't.  Took a walk down every road of the campground!played 3-13 and dice
